    In the future there needs to be some kinda separate pool of money for QBs in the salary cap. Having one guy, no matter how good he is, take up damn near 25% of your cap is not a sustainable situation. Especially when guys like Carr are now getting 40 mil a year. Price is only going up dramatically moving forward.

    I still think Baker and Jimmy G are heavily in the mix, regardless of what the media says right now. If we don't land a QB in the draft I expect them to go after one of those 2 guys.

    Which is ridiculous, as anybody who has ever been a good athlete at any sort of high level knows they will almost never tell their coach they are too hurt to play. I remember playing baseball with my left arm damn near about to fall off, and I was like "Nah, im good coach".

    Exactly. He was transcendent his rookie year pre injury. And I think Willis has a lot stronger arm than him....but other than that its a good comparison.

    Could 3rd times a charm be referring to his upcoming 3rd team? Would be the most Panthers thing ever to give this dude a big ass extension and them trade him or release him the next offseason...I dont get the logic in trading him now though. I highly doubt we would get anything more than a 5th or so, and his contract is pretty big.

    All I want is a smart QB who makes good decisions, is quick in his thinking, is accurate with his throws and is not afraid to take the occasional chance when the opportunity presents itself. I don't think thats too much to ask.

    Jordan Addision? If you guys don't know that name, you should get familiar. Hes an absolute beast. He was KPs top WR who went for 93/1479/17 last season. He will be a high first rounder next draft.

    I think Haynes has shown, in limited action, that hes ready for a bigger role. If he can step in and fill some of the production gap left by Reddick, that would go a long way for this D. Also, if Luvu can step in to a starting role and keep up his really good play from last year we might be in business.

    I mean, he COULD. Anything is possible. However I do understand that anything approaching those numbers is highly, highly unlikely to happen. If he somehow even put up 75% of that we would be in the playoffs next year. All this team is missing is a LT and good, consistent QB play.
