I've been informed by CH moderators that I'm not allowed to object to this move as deemed appropriate. Keeping of the Panthers GM is protected speech may institute bans if objected to. Fitt literally walked into a situation with a below average roster, and somehow made it worse. Every single year. Two years under Fitt, we've given out some of the worst contracts, and made some of the worst trades. The two years under Fitt, have been among the worst offseasons out of the entire NFL. UMM HELLOOO??? DO YOU HAVE EYEBALLS?

Improve the roster? I offer this simple question to anyone... Have the Panthers looked better this year, in Rhules 3rd yeard, or in his earlier years? Well, obviously anyone with eyeballs can see the Panthers have gotten progressively worse during his tenure. But why? Is Rhule suddenly magically a different coach? Did he suddenly become trash? Umm, no, he's the same guy he always was. So why are we even worse off now? It's obvious. The roster is worse. But roster can't be worse because of Fitt right (ALL FHULES FAULT FITT WAS JUST BUSY OUT GETTING COFFEE YOU GUYS)

this is such a huge part of the problem. good teams will scrap everything from a garbage regime and start fresh. panther, throughout their history, have been like "ohhh yeah THIS guy is bad, but hey lets keep this other guy" and we drag over garbage from the previous regime, and it just spills over. you've all seen the results

Ohh it definitely happened with Hurney 1.0 too. These dumfugs that are like "it's all Rhule, let's see how Fitt does with a new coach" were the same dumfugs that were like "it's all Fox, let's see how Hurney does with a new coach". Some people never learn I guess. Yeah, by the time we hit Hurney 2.0 status people were fed up with giving free passes, but it takes FOREVER for some of these people to come around to the obvious conclusion everyone else figured out years ago.

Saying you can't fire someone because they didn't have final say is such a monumentally stupid argument I have to wonder if some of you have any critical thinking skills at all. You can very easily judge him for what he did and wanted regardless.

Good GMs don't give 17 million to Ian Thomas. Or make scrubs like Erving and Elflein their priority day 1 FA signings. Or trade a 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th for Darnold, Mayfield and CJ Henderson. It's all Rhule's influence? After every one of these dumbfug moves we've made, Fitt has been at the following press conference with a big stupid grin on his face, all psyched about that move. There's been ZERO indication that he's butted heads with Rhule. They've been the dynamic stupid duo, working side by side together with every one of these dumbass signings and trades we've made. Fitt is garbage and needs to follow Rhule out the door.

Under Fitterer we've given up a 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th - nearly an entire draft - for Darnold, Mayfield and CJ Henderson. Big contracts to players like Ian Thomas, Elflein and Cam Erving. We've handed out one of the worst contracts in the entire league BOTH years he's been GM. I know a lot of people are in "EvRYthInG iS RHule fauLT!!!111" mode but Fitt is garbage and needs to follow Rhule out the door. If we keep him (which we probably will) we're only wasting time with trash offseason moves and fielding subpar teams every year until he's gone.

Definitely a below average roster overall. Fitterer needs to go too. Yeah, Rhule was trash, but you can't blame everything on him. Fitterer has not been a good GM overall. Get a new GM and let him pick the next HC. Clean house from top to bottom. But I don't think that's going to happen. Tepper is most likely going to keep Fitts, which is a mistake. And we're going to waste a few more years in the process. Feels like Fox/Hurney all over again.

It's Hurney all over again. Blamed EVERYTHING on John Fox, ran him out of town, and then left that dumfug Hurney as GM. Why keep a holdover, one of the most important pieces at that, of the previous regime when that regime was a total and complete disaster. Just clean house, new GM, new coaching staff. Clean slate for a new regime. Anyone that thinks Fitt is worth keeping go look at that Ian Thomas contract. Go look at how we gave up nearly an entire draft worth of picks for Mayfield, Darnold and Henderson.
