    What i learned from this thread. That Cam clearly values Bersin much more than some fans, including WOW!, can ever come to grips with.

    That's where watching the games actually comes in handy. I don't have to turn to stats to remember the clutch third downs that he made. Most of all his catches were third down.

    I have no problem cheering for the young man. On third down, he is clutch. Gotta have someone that can do that. Can't always rely on the top talent. Can't force the football to the big guys all the time. I even have mo problem with him being the first read again. With the other talent that will be out on the field, he could end up being ignored. The hate for him is off the charts. Hope you same pricks don't choke when your cheering on his catches this season. Karma is a bitch.

    No where in the written piece does is mention punting. It said kicking. While I'm not in favor of them eliminating either one, with the way kick offs are currently set, they might as well just eliminate kickoffs, and start the guys at the 20 all the time. I don't like it, but it's same as already there, thanks to the kickoff being from the 35, instead of the 30.

    To say cotchery isn't producing would be living in denial. He has never been a true number one or number 2 receiver in his pro career. So stop expecting more from him. The coaches and the team love him, but fans will say anything to throw trash at him.

    Veteran leadership. It needs to be on the field. If it could be provided by coaches, then there would zero need for any veterans on any team. Bersin has already proven to be a reliable receiver. All he does is catch everything thrown his way, and convert 3rd downs. Like Ricky Proehl did during his playing days. That's not good enough, the masses say. He better not make the team. Yes, cause we're so good we don't need good reliable receivers that'll grow with Can and the offense. We can't the team keep both Cotchery and Bersin? Cause they aren't fast? Somebody better start calling every team in the league, and let them know they are wasting precious roster spots to talented, hard working possession receivers.

    Ron is an excellent coach. He's had a learning curve as a head coach, but that was to be expected. I'm not worried about Shula. We have plenty of talent. There ya have it.

    While essentially $20 million a year is less than i predicted, the real story here is 2/3rds of the contract is guaranteed. That's going to change contracts, specially for qbs. Im thrilled. Woohoooo!!!!
