I realize the Panthers gave up a lot, especially including D.J. Moore. However, sitting at pick # 9, the Panthers were facing the very real possibility none of the top four QBs in this draft would still be there when they picked. For all the Panthers gave to obtain the # 1 overall draft pick, I will be highly disappointed if C.J. Stroud is not the QB they select.

Thielen, should have a solid market, despite the fact that he'll be 33 years old by the start of the 2023 season. One team that may express interest is the Browns. Cleveland needs help at receiver, and Thielen is familiar with Browns coach Kevin Stefanski during his time as the Vikings' offensive coordinator.

Bingo!! I believe this is the year the Panthers do what ever it takes to wisely get someone they feel will be their franchise QB of the future.

Matt Corral is a good example of why a team needs to do what it takes to move up in the draft and get a QB that they can build on for the future instead of wasting a lower round draft pick on a QB that will have a very slim chance of panning out and will set the team back another year in that regard while the search continues.

Hmmm! That might not be ideal but I can think of worse arrangements. Even if the Panthers draft a QB they will still need another one to bridge until he is ready to start and it's not like there are numerous QB's out there that could fill that slot.

The Saints always seemed like a logical landing spot for Carr. With Andy Dalton a free agent, and Jameis Winston a cut candidate, Carr represented the best veteran option available. Carr might not offer young upside, but he has proven he can move the offense in the right setting. Whether that setting is in New Orleans remains to be seen, but there weren't many routes for the veteran Saints to take in hopes of remaining relevant.

The Panthers did show some interest in Hooker early on and my guess is he will be drafted higher than most expect, just not sure it will be by the Panthers.

Even with him they are very close to being the sorriest team in the league.
