No one knows what they are thinking. Other reports are saying CJ Stroud is the “Apple” of our eye. Even if they did prefer one of these guys they are at the mercy of teams ahead of us in the draft. I would really like to see the Raiders sign a QB in FA to get them out of the QB market in he draft.

The QB School : Breaking down AR and Levis
Shocker replied to Your GFs favorite huddler's topic in Carolina Panthers
I am hoping we move up and spend mostly draft picks this year. On Kiper’s podcast he mentioned talking with GMs that he was hearing a lot of talk on how this is a weak draft overall. Again I hope we move up and get really lucky with Levis going top 2 and Bryce or CJ dropping. -
PFF Top 100 Free Agents and their projected contract
Shocker replied to Captain Morgan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Holy Jack rabbit shet…that is a mint for Lamar… Contract Projection: Five years, $260 million ($52M per year); $208 million total guaranteed -
I feel very strongly about this... Derek Carr.

Not sure we can afford him. He will be spensive -
The Raiders have to release him by Feb 15 or he is due 40 mill. He will be released very soon IMO.

Bryce Young would be the best QB in the NFC next season. Drops the mic
-
-
With you here…if a team passes Bryce it will be a major mistake.
-
Somebody is going to take him with his physical talent and personality but he hasn’t led a team to anything special. Just saying…he is a serious risk. Like I have mentioned with AR if he comes out and turns the ball over he will become unplayable. He is very meh with accuracy

Man…I have seriously high bust vibes from Levis. Just because he might be available and has great skills…I can’t see a franchise QB with him. High reservations with him. Not seeing him mentally handling this league right now.
-
He will and he will seriously impress the interviews. Forget his tape last season and he is clearly going #1. I really hope that Indy moves up for him. I don’t see Houston targeting him, he is similar to Davis Mills.
-
I hear you. He is like historically small. This can’t be denied. I wonder what Doug Flutie would have done in the league but he isn’t as small. If we draft Young I think we have the best QB in the NFC next season. And no…he doesn’t sit. He starts.
-
Hearing many folks here that know QBs talk about size concerns is interesting. If a player might drop it is probably Bryce. Damn…I hope so. I personally can’t see any team taking Levis before Bryce.
-
On record…Bryce Young Why? I love QBs that step on campus and dominate immediately. Both players started a game and were the guys. No transferring and no questions. Young has been the best QB IMO from day 1. He missed a few games diving for a first down and returned quickly. Posting my comps I would say this… Young is similar to Mahomes Stroud is similar to Goff

Lets stop messing around…who is your #1 QB in this draft? Your choices are CJ Stroud or Bryce Young
-
-
Agree…except for AR having higher upside than Levis but that’s cool. Excited about the draft and we both have similar dreams.

Did a sim and got Stroud at 9 and Michael Mayer in the 2nd.

I said Levis can pass the ball…meaning he has a decent ability to read a defense and deliver the ball accurately. That doesn’t guarantee anything. I am not sold he can read an NFL defense and process quickly. Hence, he can bust as well. Stroud and Young are the QBs worth moving crazy assets for but Levis brings more risk IMO. AR is a crazy risk because you are wanting him to be something he has never shown. I would ask is AR even that great a runner? Feels like Ronald Curry who moved to a skill position later in his career because he couldn’t be accurate. You are basically running full time wildcat if you are starting AR.
-
Which analysts? Question…why was AR not starting in place of Emery Jones? AR wasn’t even a legit QB at Florida before this season. He is gonna bust…don’t want and pray we don’t go there.
-
I will stand by this…AR has a huge bust potential. Levis isn’t far behind but Levis can pass the ball. People need to put on a critical eye on ARs passing and stop making excuses and projecting him as something he isn’t.
-
Hang your hat on Jalen Hurts. That’s fine. They surrounded him with great weapons and talent. The NFC is down in terms of QBs this season but that doesn’t mean Hurts is a great player. He is solid. The Pro Bowl QBs from the NFC are Hurts, Cousins, Geno Smith and Goff. Not murderers row
-
Whatever…another point is these dual threat QBs don’t last very long either. Cam was robo QB and he broke down so fast. Lamar is breaking down now. We need a passer.
-
Jalen Hurts is not Cam either. Cam is probably the best dual threat QB ever (Mike Vick has an argument) but none of these guys have the talent Cam had. That said we all always wanted even Cam to be more accurate as a passer. I love Cam but that is a fact
