Just laying it out there...Mitch is a better QB than anyone not named Trevor in the draft. It is tiring people talking up these QBs that have proven nothing. Trevor and Fields have...and maybe Jones. Mitch is as good as any of them.

Yes, and he is better than any QB not named Watson as an option IMO. He is a much better option than these draft unknowns.

Young, big arm, athleticism and he should come cheap...we still build the team with our draft picks and he doesn’t keep us from looking for our franchise QB later. I think he makes a lot of sense

Been thinking about this as a possible option. Before you dismiss this completely a few points... How much better are the guys after Trevor? Where would he he picked in this draft? We don’t give up much to sign him...including draft picks He was actually winning games late last season His arm and athleticism fits our offense Thoughts? Hate?

Both are worth every penny. Not sure you see the the dearth of QBs coming from college these days. Not named Trevor both these guys are better and proven better.

Lets consider this...a TE/WR hybrid is one of the best players available. Several guys that didn’t play last season are top 10 players. There are going to be an amazing amount of busts in this draft class.

Will add this...this draft coming up is the weakest draft outside of round 1 in memory. Trading this years picks to move up would be smart IMO. Honestly...outside of the top 20 picks there is a big drop in talent. Actually, its the weakest draft in memory period.

The 2011 draft was weak outside of the first round. This is known. He was filling holes on the roster so that draft is a terrible example. Of course he missed otherwise, every GM does. Hurney doesn't know QBs mostly so I agree there. One of the reasons he was let go IMO. Picking Cam #1 gets you very little love as he was the clear pick there for a team starved for one. We could look at any GMs drafts and nitpick. His hit rate is still impressive. That doesn’t make him some genius but he did a really solid job in that regard. Overall, Gettleman did well here too. Look at most of the other team drafts out there and you will realize GMs miss consistently, especially after round 1.

Yes he has...drafted well. As a GM he failed overall but he has hit at a good rate drafting. This is fact.

Marty Hurney has drafted pretty damn well. Its a fact.

Word was that Big Cat pined for CMC so there is that I was personally totally sold on CMC so that was a no brainer to me. Samuel was a great pick IMO. The draft last year was really good too IMO. 2001 was tops for me

Dunno man, I would definitely try. Samuel is a difference maker, young and on the rise in a big way. We should really offer a good contract and if he gets some nasty offer elsewhere than so be it. I think it’s possible to resign him. I don't see #1 money coming his way but you never know.

Devonte Smith is going to be a great NFL player right away. His size gives people reservations but he flat out cant be covered. If he goes to a team with a solid QB he will blow up. He is basically Desean Jackson in his prime right out of the gate IMO.

You obviously don’t understand the term “locker room cancer”. This guy was so incredibly uninterested he had more off the field issues than snaps on offense.

Its pretty clear you don’t believe in Tua...that is totally fine but Miami has a great future especially if he works out. They could move down and probably grab multiple picks and still get an amazing WR or other position. Going QB in this draft feels really stupid.

BTW if we don’t pick before Atlanta we can forget Fields as he will definitely be gone by pick 4. I don’t completely think he is cant miss but he will be gone by then.

I am pretty much in agreement on this as well. IMO, and I have said this a lot, Trey Lance has bust written all over him. I have stated I am warming to what he “could be” but have serious reservations based what he is right now.

Mac Jones really doesn’t need endorsements from anyone right now. He is going top 15 in this draft without question. If its the right organization he will be better off than anyone the Jets or Jags choose. I am going to keep mentioning too that Tua will be a damn good QB in this league. I am far from moving away from that happening.

Translation: Keep your name = trade for Watson Burn the cash = burn the draft picks to do it
