  1. For all I know this is a token Sportsology interview. Proof is in the pudding and Tepper to date has shown no indication of being a net positive owner. He is still front and center and it certainly looks like he enjoys stacking all decisions in his favor. I would glad to be wrong. Vrabel IMO is the best hire out there.
  2. right that man an absurd check when he walks in the door and tell him he can hire anyone he wants!!! I would wager that interview has odds of going poorly given what Tepper likes. Vrabal is the polar opposite of anything Tepper has been around. An "a hole" some would say. Little surprised they even got him to come in.
  3. lol. Yeah, if I told you Jim Caldwell was going to be tasked with helping find the new GM and the new GM was already here.....people would have called that crazy a couple months ago. Ejiro has already made it to round 2 of interviews. It's not crazy to think given what world Tepper is creating for the next HC.....Ejiro might be the guy who is agreeable to taking it on and others are resistant IMO. Better odds of Ejiro than Ben Johnson if my money is on the line. I'm not saying what I propose is the likely outcome. But a variation of that is on the table at this point. Folks better prepare themselves for this gigantic change next year not actually coming to fruition as a reasonable outcome IMO.
  4. I mean, we are attempting to attract a new HC. Then you got Tepper telling him who the majority of his top staff are? That's generally not how it goes. Especially if you are the worst team in the NFL and the job is to change the culture here.
  5. I mean, there are only 32 in the world. Tepper does have the ability to make the opening less attractive than it is. Which I think he continues to do. Largely his involvement continues. And he continues IMO to handicap the new HC and many likely would view it as such. Morgan as much as people like the player.....probably makes the job less attractive to many. I would think a good HC candidate would be wanting to come in here and tackle the problem w/ a new GM (preferably one he knows). What are we offering? Come work with an in house guy that helped get us to the bottom. Oh, and the owner is going to likely want to tell you who your staff is.
  6. in theory I would get Vrabel. In reality, Vrabel ain't coming. Why would he. I thought the job was an unattractive as it got when it opened. I think it is becoming less attractive by the day. That's why I think a nightmare has potential to really be cooking up here. Which is really going to favor the leftovers from season 1 of Game of Panthers.
  7. Owner- Tepper GM - Morgan HC - Evero Some made up job overseeing a Thomas Brown 2.0 - Caldwell ST - Tabor QB - Young RB - Hubbard/Sanders WR - the same dudes plus another rookie
  8. well, let's take a look at Adam Peters. He and Morgan entered their roles as assistant GMs at the same time. Peters? People were looking at him for GM jobs after 2021. They were looking at him again after 2022. They were looking at him again, this year. Dan Morgan ever interviewed with anyone? Not just this cycle. I mean, he is just a Tepper add if there ever was one. Sportsology isn't going to be looking inside BOA for the solution to this nightmare. And the solution being someone they nor anyone else in the business has wanted to get in a room.
  9. Underrated point not talked about enough….Dan Morgan wasn’t being looked at by anyone else. Thankfully, we got Jim Caldwell and the Teppers to find him. And they didn’t even have to look hard. That’s why they all needed to be on board. Sportsology was likely looking at all the good candidates and wouldn’t of seen it
  10. So far all the fix is just the failed parts fixing things. Tepper/Nicole/Jim Caldwell “finding” the new GM that was just a guy part of the nightmare. And if you actually are prioritizing Sportsology to lead you to an answer you don’t bring on Jim Caldwell….and there are tiny odds Sportsology is going to find the answer to our mess inside our mess. Common sense says that just Teppers/Caldwell steering it. and yeah, it all sets up for Morgan to go quick and musical chairs to continue. Because all the reasons Fitterer shouldn’t have been back this year will largely apply to Morgan. Morgan helped create this nightmare at the end of the day. the love of player Morgan has blinded some folks. It was a bad hire given what Morgan has been part of and what we have been. Everything from Caldwell helping to hire has been exactly how you shouldn’t do it. Textbook Tepper at this point. More and more it wouldn’t surprise me if Ejiro is the new HC. Because that’s the path we are on.
  11. Really looking forward to season GOT 2. Spoilers! Where Tepper gets Jim Caldwell to help find a GM Where Jim Caldwell gets Morgan hired as GM and then Morgan gets Ejiro hired as HC
  12. John Fox is still out there on the sidelines today as a coach. He is with the Lions. Last time we played them he was there smacking that gum
  13. All he knows is football is my guess…him staying around after his HC run ends is pretty normal. League is slammed full of former HCs. I mean, we just employed Dom freaking Capers
  14. Bust rate is pretty high at the top too though, plenty of teams have had top picks and some poorly with them. He gets an A+ in the first round. He probably gets an A overall on the OL too. He hit more often than not on the OL outside of the first when he pulled the trigger. That alone IMO makes Marty decent vs his peers. Not good. But we shouldn’t pretend he and someone like Fitterer are similar
  15. I think they largely did okay at OL and LB under Marty outside the first. It was sort of positional IMO. The real killer was Marty could never add skill talent in the pass game. Never once hit on a steal of any kind there.
  16. I mean, I don't think it's the hair and clothes....as much as it is the personality and attention he garners. From media to in house. Cam can't just be one of the dudes on the roster. Now that he is podcast and social media heavy, I think that just makes it even more certain teams aren't going to want to add him.
  17. I mean, a very average Hubbard made Sanders look like a bum. I think he is just the meh RB Philly wanted to move away from....that could only run behind huge holes and offered little outside of that. That's not Bryce Young or really even the OC. That's Sanders just being meh.
  18. I mean, I would sign him to be a one man tush push if I was Atl. I mean, you need a HC and probably more importantly a QB whose ego couldn't handle Cam being there. He would bring good energy to the team
  19. lot of really sad teams out there....knowing that Mr. In On Every Deal is no longer around to be suckered. I bet Fitterer was treated like a Greek god at NFL functions. Opposing teams must of loved seeing him walk in.
  20. I would assume the former LB was a big part of that discussion
  21. nah, nah. Derek Brown gotta be the Hound. Moutain was a piece of poo. The Hound basically became the best character on the show at least.
  22. the new head coach will be Jon Snow. Especially if a young OC. in the end, Jon Snow was basically banished and screwed over.
  23. please, feel free to lecture me some more on what great friends Reich and Caldwell are.....and how you factually you know Frank wasn't forced into doing things by Tepper when he took the job lol.
  24. I made the mistake of going to a game last year. instant regret. we left early. I will no longer do it. Not helping this clown fill his seats until he becomes a silent and uninvolved owner.
