  1. you just seem to not like Josh Allen. Again, it's got a Cam energy to it. Cam Newton wasn't actually the problem of the Cam era. Rosters with gigantic holes all over it was. Was Cam flawed? Sure. But that never made him the problem in the Cam era. What is the problem for the Bills? I would say it's a conservative defensive HC holding them back in a conference with all the good QBs. Josh Allen has been to the post season 5 straight years. Bills got a pretty dang special guy behind C. They need someone to get them over the hump. Generally, it's coaching or QB play that stalls a team when they reach that level. My money is on the coach.

I think there is a reason why Meta, Google, Apple and everyone is sort of on this kick though. Think it's basically the baby stepping of wanting to combine machine/human. Hard to see too far down the road but I think they basically want everyone to have access to everything....without having to have a device in your hand.
  3. I'm no longer in the we need legit competition camp. I don't want some old JAG QB coming in if we bench Bryce and leading us to 7 wins or something. I say we start Bryce and if he continues to stink.....we ride him to another top pick and part with him. If instead he develops and improves? Fantastic.
  4. Oh, I don't disagree. Reid > McD and I don't think it's that close. Which roster would I rather have? Give me the Bills today vs KC today.
  5. yeah, see what you did there. Your argument is essentially you acting like those that disagree with you....believe things they don't. Josh Allen isn't a perfect player. The Bills however do not have a QB issue. That isn't why they went home. Bills just needed to be healthy and they are in the AFCCG. But that's sports. You give them a healthy D and their #2 WR. They are beating KC last night.
  6. dude signed a half billion dollar deal (450M). Now, granted, it really isn't that. But to act like Mahomes choosing to play for less for the good of the team just ain't something I am buying. Again, he is 25% of the cap next year. 1 dude. Did they keep Cheetah? Who wanted to stay there? Issue was money. They got a cast of JAG WRs and rookie contract talent outside of their TE. The O skill talent is basically Kelce and JAGs/rookies. Which is a big part of why KC has been so ugly this year. It's easily the weakest team they have had in a couple years.
  7. I mean, he isn't the problem. No big picture. Like, at all. you are just doing a version of Cam Newton hate IMO. Cam doing everything and carrying the load and then hyper focusing on every play that doesn't play out ideal for him. I mean, which you can do with any player. You go back to games Tom Brady lost and start nitpicking plays that didn't work out and blame Brady as the reason they lost. Even on that final drive where the K missed a kick he just has to make....Diggs let that deep bomb go right through his hands on the first play of the drive.
  8. I wasn't commenting on what I thought of him. Just was commenting on the implication he was taking friendly deals for the betterment of the team. He is 25% of the cap for KC next year. Mahomes isn't taking less to get better talent around. Not saying he should or shouldn't.
  9. Hard to watch that game and think Josh Allen was the problem. A healthy Bills teams beats a healthy KC team. That's sports IMO. Sometimes the better team isn't going to get the W. I wish we were the Bills.
  10. Mahomes ain't out there taking less money to build a better team. It's why the skill talent around him has gone backwards. I think he had the largest cap hit this year in the league. Next year he accounts for like 25% of the cap.
  11. the win streak they went on did a lot to make people sort of forget all the McD drama that was starting to emerge. I mean, I think he gets a tad overrated around here. To me, he is largely just a Ron Rivera type coach. But paired w/ a better front office. I do think his coaching often can get in the way of a well built team in the modern NFL. but, it's easier to want to do better and get worse than him. Which is the double edged sword when you finally have a decent coach. Everyone wants a great one. And generally you find weak ones when you go hunting.
  12. the Bills' dirt cheap RB finished #3 in yards from scrimmage. last night showed a kicker needs to make kicks. and WRs need to catch balls. and being healthy on D would have helped. Blow it up? Why would you blow up something that works.
  13. Fluke games happen where a team just doesn’t show up and has bad days. We could play the Packers 5 times. They are winning 4 out of those 5. We got lucky. Texans just had an off day. Happens in sports. The collective season tells us that. It’s why it so hard to go winless. Eventually you will see a team that just gives you one. It in our case, 2.
  14. Tepper isn’t cheap. He has spent a boatload on coaches. He quickly had us not practicing in hotels. I don’t think he dumped a lot into the stadium out of the gate because I think initially he wanted a brand new one.
  15. yeah, we simply lost the ability to draft in the top 10....for the 5th straight year. Let's say we had our first round pick? None of those type picks have been curing the issue. I don't think Marvin Harrison Jr alone is solving anything.
  16. Probably so….but we hired Matt Rhule to build something here in 2020. Given the holes and task of essentially starting over and building a new team, a potential top 10 player at a different position IMO made more sense. if we were a win now team I wouldn’t of cared if we went DB or S or whatever. Plug whatever hole you got. I got no issue with Horn the actual player
  17. We ran against teams that couldn’t stop the run down the stretch for part of a season. It was a solid move by Wilks. That’s all they could really do. That’s not a GM assembling the best OL in Panther history lol. That’s crazy mental gymnastics. I’m done with you for today. Spread your comedy gold to the next.
  18. You said Scott Fitterer built the best OL we ever had. I mean you just said it. We aren’t talking preseason optimistic drunk hype talk of what might happen that got dug up. Today you made that declaration. Best OL we ever had lol. You are breaking your own brain not being able to just say you were wrong about Fitterer. I mean, it ain’t going to happen, I know that…. but funny is funny. What do you expect when say Fittter built the best OL in Panther history?
  19. lol my guy just said Scott Fitterer built the best OL we ever had….and in the same breathe is attempting to lecture that folks aren’t smart enough to understand. Best OL we ever had….. classic Mr Scott right there. Great stuff.
  20. @frankw it still has to be pointless with him, because even with hindsight being applied and Fitterer being a certified worthless dope....that would have still meant Scott was wrong in hindsight. There actually was no way for anything to of worked out better for us than the way Scott said it should of been lol.
  21. Please feel free to share one where you called Fitterer out for being a horrific GM here....that isn't focused on him going behind Frank's back. and you should of fired Fitterer w/ Rhule because the era was nothing but bad. Comedy stupid bad. It's a pointless gamble to guess how much was Rhule's fault vs Fitterer....and then argue because you opted to blame Rhule for more than his fare that meant Fitterer somehow wasn't bad during that window. Fitt didn't have the resume for that type grace to be applied. Things often aren't that complicated. People pretend things are overly complicated often though. Panthers have been pretty easy to figure out the last several years. What went wrong and frankly what is going wrong in real time.
  22. you defended Fitterer until the end and only said he should be fired for stabbing Frank in the back. Not that he should be fired for just being an overall nightmare trainwreck GM (which he was) if you put aside the Game of Thrones report that came out. Not a thing mischaracterized about that. and you certainly argued this time last year that Scott Fitterer absolutely had to remain and not go w/ Rhule. Nothing mischaracterized about that either. whenever people call you out on being wrong....it's always some not really retort. Again, no one cares if anyone is actually wrong. Everyone here is and often. But how you choose to go about it is rather unique. That's all. Have a day.
  23. it was Tepper who wanted to trade up for no one in particular IMO. I feel it was Fitterer who talked Tepper into Young. Or at the very least, allowed it to occur by not siding with Frank. People have always deferred everything away from Fitterer. Jaycee Horn was Fitterer too. Not Rhule. Matt Rhule was never making all the calls. You can't convince me Matt Rhule on his own opted to use his very first NFL pick on a LOB era DB in the top 10 and it wasn't the Seattle guy. Young also meshes in well w/ that Seattle mindset.
  24. I mean, ain't you the dude who thinks the only real reason Fitterer should of been fired was because he stabbed Frank in the back.....not the fact he was the worst GM in franchise history that made Marty Hurney look like the greatest football mind in the history of the sport? same dude who argued tooth and nail that Fitterer just had to be brought back once we fired Rhule and ended that nightmare era? but once again, it's everyone else that isn't making good points.
