Bama QBs IMO deserve the rep even more so than Ohio St QBs though. They never work out. So I always have a yellow flag up on them. I mean the only one to date that really has is the one Bama didn't want and went to OU. And basically on Cam Newton in recent history has been better built for the NFL.

reality is with McAdoo's RPO junk.....the defense can literally force the pass to a spot they know it would be going to. and yeah, it's the NFL. If the NFL largely knows what you are going to do...and that is the case with McAdoo. Getting open isn't easy on short routes where the defenders essentially can run the route and cover the window the ball is suppose to go into. Do I think DJ is giving 100% every play in a bad offense? What I would call the worst in the NFL? No. 89 didn't either.

I tell you what, if I was a team that wanted CMC.....I would want him before Wilks put him through the meat grinder vs Tampa.

I tend to put the most stock in his momma CMC. Sure sounded like they hoped and were thinking a trade was coming.

I think CMC, Shaq and any older player has fair odds pending their agent can find something realistic. But there isn't much here to be desired on that front. I think we have forever overrated Jackson and I don't think others would really want him. They make sense. They aren't the youth. They are the older Icky, Moton, Horn, Chinn, Burns, Browns, etc are probably untouchable ones pending their isn't some in house drama/issue specific to one of them that they can't work past.

Career completion % - Heinicke TD/INT ratio - Heinicke Win % - Heinicke Most opportunities b/c of draft spot - Sam I mean it’s actually an easy call. Give me Heinicke over Sam on my roster. And that’s not an argument that I want Heinicke on my roster lol.

I mean, if you are Shaq, CMC, and dudes like that? This is their window to do something. So if they want a ring and a shot to compete you have to ask out. Simple as that. Rebuild is coming and their ages don't align with Carolina being a place they can do anything but collect a check from.

I wouldn't be surprised if they are "listening" to offers because players are simply asking for trades at this point and their agents are being told to go find something that makes sense and we might do it.

I mean, if Chubba Hubbard turns into Adrian Peterson the next couple weeks we could easily trade CMC and extend Hubbard. Sam Darnold has never provided a steady hand from college to pros. He is the polar opposite of a steady hand.

DJ not getting open in McAdoo’s predictable RPO junk isn’t really about DJ though DJ has the Peppers issue. His lack of outward emotion is something fans use against him.

Why? they aren’t under contract. They aren’t developmental. And they don’t provide steady veteran play.

Not really about Jake’s QB ability and more about his ability to deal was with a mega personality and hot head. a young 89 just wasn’t going to work with a ton of QBs. Ones way better than Jake. Cam and an older and milder version of 89 weren’t the best pairing. Hence why 89 had to go. Cam was hitting his prime right when we parted with 89. And Cam went on to reach the peak of his career after that.

I mean, you can run the gameplan Wilks did with any QB. And then it doesn’t matter who you start. I mean, PJ sucks but this staff did everyone wrong last week. I mean, keep doing that and you are going to have problems IMO with others on the roster at some point. I mean you can let them play. With PJ and McAdoo you aren’t beating the Bucs letting them play. It will be ok. You don’t need the fetal position offense.

Gets weird though. I mean in reality vs a Madden create a team. Chemistry. Locker room. All that jazz often has a lot to do with special seasons. Not sure you could of paired a young 89 with a prime Cam. To an extent, 89 needed the personalities of Jake, Prohel, Moose, etc. But Jake was big IMO for Steve actually working out like he did. 89 paired with a lot of QBs likely doesn’t work. Especially that young version.

89 and CMC are simply nothing alike. I don’t really get the question. in their primes? I’d rather have a dominant WR than a dominant RB. I think the dominant WR can be more impactful overall. Especially in scenarios if your team gets down. same reason I’d probably pick Peppers over Luke. It’s largely the position. And Luke IMO is the best actual football player of his position IMO in our history. Others simply could be more impactful due to their position and also had bigger roles that extended beyond just their actual play.

Shi probably has shown the most potential but Shi is a slot guy at this point. You can't just take that type guy and throw him on the outside. Then it doesn't work. Shenault falls into this too. He isn't the type WR you put on the outside because that isn't what he is. On the outside I think you simply rotate TMJ and Higgins on the outside.
