well, it's not just passing.....because passing hasn't. We are winning with a MUCH improved D and a good run game being even better. Bryce really isn't inconsistent. He is consistent. With an oddity here or there on a rare occasion (which all consistent people have).

yep. by far. We win with improved D, and a frankly good run game getting even better. We are still winning in spite of subpar QB play. and fans should be able to celebrate wins and our improvement. Without someone being forced into pretending Bryce Young isn't THE weak spot on the roster. And fixing that, could lead to an actual good team.

if you look at the last 6 games, it's really hard to say the pass game has improved. It's basically a random Atlanta game.....and collectively a worse pass attack than last year 206, 169, 124, 102, 138. That's an average of 147 pass yards per game of late w/ the random Atlanta game set to the side. So that's 3 wins in there not counting Atlanta. Law of averages say it very tough to imagine our magic is going to keep allowing wins. I think we are better than New Orleans. But they play Bryce really well. I think we will be a slight favorite in that one game. Dogs in all the rest.

It's impossible to predict given there really isn't a repeatable game plan found amongst the wins. all time franchise great rushing performances, Panther franchise passing record, , barely breaking 100 yard passing games, minimum of 3 turnovers by opponents, etc. Just really weird stuff on the season.

For all but 2 plays he was treated like a 3rd string QB that game… and Canales has been consistently doing one thing all season…..call deep shots on 3rd/4th and short….because it’s about the only way Bryce can get a big play he feels comfortable attempting. Man coverage with a team playing the short yardage. And it’s still worked out bad all year. Law averages comes into play on that playcall and now it’s a “great game”

yeah, a lot of people voice excitement over the improvements and wins. They just see how we can frankly continue to make strides and get better……by addressing the tiny elephant in the room. And as soon as that is said, some folks lose their poo and do whatever you just did here with projecting that makes people miserable. If we addressed QB this past offseason, we might actually be good this year. Actual good.

Panthers have improved. And you can zero in on why…..huge shift in defense from last year to this year. pass game is actually less productive this season vs last. Call it a push if you want. The run game and D is finding way to win some games with a bad pass attack. QB play is bottom of the league for 3 straight seasons. And it’s just because the QB is the QB

People have cried about Canales and his oddball playcalls that were exactly the same thing he pulled today. How many 3rd/4th and shorts has Dave called some deep incompletion…..it’s happened a bunch this season. Hell, pretty sure the exact one to Coker was a couple weeks ago on 3rd and short. It was incomplete and people trashed him for a low % play when only needing whatever it was He hid Bryce Young the entire game and treated him like he was just picked up this week and then on 4th and short had him go deep. It was bad playcalling that worked out great. Or the huddle has been trashing great playcalling all season as Dave being dumb

JB shouldn’t even be a thought IMO. Bonus if he ever matters for us.

Rico really regretting that tweet and calling out Dave. Dave went from forced to acknowledge Rico was better and go with a lead RB…. to 100% committed to a 50/50 split after calling out the whack 49er gameplan

We pass more than the majority of NFL teams. Only 12 NFL teams have more pass attempts. but since Bryce is the QB, it’s the 27th ranked pass attack we technically are a pass team. Just bad at it

Atlanta isn’t on the schedule. One great game per season isn’t what you extend. One great game, 8 bad, the rest meh/okay. You can literally go sign a Mitch Trubisky type get more consistent play week in and week out. There are great games and there are games we deem great for Bryce. They aren’t the same things. Because Bryce has 2 in his 3 year career

I think you are largely seeing the law of averages that takes place when a subpar QB gets never ending reps at QB. It’s mostly bad. But you are going to get some good. I don’t think it’s that complicated at this point but play a PJ Walker in enough games he will throw the longest TD pass in a NFL season.

Saints play Bryce Young better than any team in the NFL IMO. but the game is a dome game, which means Bryce’s O production ceiling goes from 200ish to more the 250ish range. I think Saints QB likely can’t repeat his game from the first matchup (he played very well). who knows, folks are wasting their time if they think they can predict this Panthers team. That’s been proven on repeat. So maybe JJ Jansen scores 2 TDs off fumble recoveries on the punt team (and Bryce logs a GWD for illegally being the 12th man on the field and it didn’t get called)

Bryce is pretty consistent after 3 years of playing. Horrific or good games. about 200 ish yards. He largely isn’t going to throw downfield. He struggles vs zone. He is at his best in man looks.

I mean, he didn’t complete a single pass over 10 yards on any normal down the entire game. Took can’t take sacks again. Canales basically pulled out his dumb plays he gets trashed for all season again…..and it worked out for the fist time in spectacular fashion on 4th down for change. Thats the game. No coach or team is lookiing for that. I get the win. It was fun. Derrick Brown was awesome to watch. Chubba getting some redemption. But every single time almost the Panthers do something fun and exciting it’s folks rushing to try to use it as why maybe Bryce isn’t a backup caliber QB after all.

The Panther wins are just so weird. Stafford has a NFL record going not turning the ball over. Walks into BOA and turns it over 3 times with a meh defense missing half the roster Bryce has 2 throws over 10 yards all game. Both on 4th and short. Both for TDs. almost impossible anyone could predict how we find a win.

Bryce didn’t outplay Stafford. Stafford was asked to be a NFL QB all game and mistakes were made. Bryce was treated like a 3rd string QB the entire game…..and then on 4th down Canales frankly called 2 really dumb plays that worked out insanely well. The exact calls people have said are why he shouldn’t be a NFL coach. We have seen the need 2 yards and Bryce chucking it incomplete on repeat this year

Rico had a great game vs the Boys and Bryce wasn’t great today (frankly 2 really dumb playcalls worked out spectacularly….and Bryce did little and was hidden outside of that). Bryce’s bad games outweigh everything else added up together. I’m here every week. Not just dropping in on random weeks trying to pin anomaly performances by the Panthers on Bryce lol. As was shared this week, he is the worst QB in the NFL over the last 3 seasons. Thats just factual. So it’s not hate. Despite the gaslighting that goes on every random game or so.

Nah, it’s just the repeated Groundhog Day effect in full swing. Bryce “haters” just have watched a really bad QB for 3 years and don‘t do this really weird and comical extreme thing with Bryce like others do. Jets - cut him!!! GB - we won who cares if he might stink!!!’ Saints - cut him!! Falcons - he is great!! 49ers - cut him!!!! Rams - he is okay!!!

He hasn't had very good games this season, he had one. The Panthers have had several really good games and many aspect have gotten much better. The passer hasn’t

That’s really not how things go in the NFL. That’s some created Panther scenario. Bryce either comes back to start next year or you move on from the worst starter since he arrived into the league. Your #1 overall 3 year starter doesn’t do a legit battle he can lose in camp and just become the backup….that creates absurd in house dynamics. Which is why you don’t see the proposed happen

Yeah, I get this week is doing the classic Bryce crazy reaction thing. fact remains, you are still claiming it’s a certainty…..the worst starting QB in the NFL since 2023 with middle school physical levels tools is a guaranteed 5th year pick pickup…..just because. Not to mention the very high odds bad Bryce shows up majority of the rest of the games and they can’t win in spite of him down the stretch (as we don’t get anomaly performances from those around Bryce, which is basically what has to happen in our wins minus Atlanta. That well probably is as close to maxed out as it can get this season.
