I’m criticizing Canales. Not Bryce Young. Bryce Young played very well. I said early Philly would be the game I reevaluate my Bryce take. He cleared that bar and then some today. lot of people made Bryce’s life harder today. XL is one. Canales is another. So again, I’d like Canales to do a better job for his young QB. Cam bitched about the same thing in his career early on and it puts the QB in tougher spots.

Ok. Who said we don’t if he catches it? I want us to be competitive too. So I’d like Bruce Young not to be panicking to get a snap off over and over and over all game. I would assume the penalties and rush jobs don’t make things better and easier for him. So again, we play more games going forward.

Yeah, XL dropping a ball to win the game doesn’t change the fact Canales has Bryce Young going to line over and over with no time. Pretty sure we took several delay of games today INCLUDING that last drive to win it. more football games will be played after today. So the playcaller putting Bryce in bad spots is something we should care about. only caring about 1 play isn’t really how football works

So slow. Worst thing you can do for a young QB is having everything late and slow coming in. Bryce lives with the play clock about to expire

He is allowed lumps and growing pains. I still like his potential. He took a lot of big hits today.

Regular bowl games were meh when it was a 4 team playoff. They are just painfully bad in a 12 team college playoff format. I mean, why play any high value player. Sellers blows a knee for what? What is there to brag about at this point winning a non-CFP game. It can’t be used for recruiting. It highlights you couldn’t make a 12 team format and then it’s an exhibition with who knows who playing on either side. I think more and more high caliber kids that are basically pros at this point….start treating them like the Pro Bowl. As in nah, I ain’t risking injury.

Too much meh-ness this year. Generally the top teams are so good they can survive a bad day even if lesser teams have a good day. I don’t think these teams can.

I think head to head is overpriortized this year in CFP. They wouldn’t jump SC over Bama or Ole Miss…and should have. Then Clemson beats a #8 SMU team to win a title and they can’t move them up and value a title because of the SC head to head. AP seems to have done better in that section minus where they got Bama. They should be behind SC like Ole Miss. They got Miami rightfully behind Clemson.

CFP can’t decide what a conference championships mean or don’t mean. Clemson beats a #8 SMU to be ACC champs…..move up only 1 spot from 17 to 16. Miami at stays at 13. I think what the committee really is saying is don’t play anyone outside your conference and titles are largely meaningless. Final record and then head to head are the focus points (SEC teams just out show that)

put all 3 in a hat and pull a name. Someone going to get upset. Top of college football has proven it’s not the top of prior years IMO. There will be at least 1 upset. Heck, refs will ensure that IMO. Because in theory that was the whole point of expanding. For those moments.

ACC Champions 8 of the last 10 years! Clemson can’t help the CFP playoff is what it is and that they will be in….with a host of other teams that also don’t belong. Tough to win games when you got no run game. A hurt Phil Mafah on the field the last 2 games is just painful to watch. It’s like watching a FB with heavy ankle weights on run. And it put way too much on the shoulders of Clemson’s QB. Dabo tried to do the Lord’s work and knock Bama out. The work should be done. But you never know what the devil got cooked up.

I’d prefer Manning over Ewers if I was Texas. I hope Texas wins though

Clemson has 21 ACC titles. Which is the most in the ACC. FSU 2nd. FSU were the kings of the ACC under Bowden. Miami has 0 ACC titles. Gamecocks got more ACC titles. No one thinks Miami when they think ACC. Miami was the team of the Big East And no one gives a poo about Miami anymore. They have had 2 seasons in recent history that were fools gold. You know cares about Miami? Old people. That remember a time long ago.

you implied you were in your late teens when Clemson was on top of the college football world? That was 5 years ago. So your math clearly had me assuming your were young You moving the goalpost. I didn’t call them royalty. But certainly a national program like the SEC schools. Clemson is top 20 all time in wins. And if you erase Dabo and Kirby’s nattys….Clemson has a more recent natty than UGA.

Well considering he was a teen when Clemson was at the top of college football….he is still pretty young man. Which explains a lot in terms of his preferences. I frankly get Whoa a lot more now.

Cam Ward, the best QB, sitting at home because his team overall sucked I’ll be at the game, so I’ll be glad to take the L or victory lap the next day.
