it's the NFL. You don't get long. Every HC we have had got us into the playoffs by year 3. Nothing suggests Rhule has us on that track. The only one who didn't was shown the door.

Big picture, QB all day. There are a lot of great offenses and teams that have and have had bad OL play. QB is the end all be all.

if you want to be left alone and collect a check it might be nice. Apparently Matt Rhule had his first real conversation with Sam Darnold just the other week.

I saw Tony Pike last night at Target and told me he just laughted when he saw the caller ID and didn't pick up.

If you make a massive mistake....sticking with it isn't good practice either though. Tepper should of never hired Rhule. That was the mistake. He didn't have the resume.

I don't think there is any evidence they had his picture up and then replaced it with the same picture but with him cropped out. I mean, Tepper didn't show Cam the respect he deserved given what he did here. No doubt about that. If we parted with Cam....it should of had a Jake Delhomme feel to it. And Tepper and company should rightfully be hammered for the way the deal with people. Carolina has basically been really bad about that post Fox era.

why would any NFL team go into week 1 next year with Sam Darnold as your starter?

well, we just need some basic answers. Sam Darnold knew specifics about his shoudler injury going into that game. What were those.

They sent him out there with an injured shoulder. We know that at least. Is Matt Rhule having a presser today? Hope reporters press him on answers. Oddly enough, if someone is going to ask right questions....it shockingly will be.....Joe Person lol. He has actually gotten better of late. I know you aren't suppose to say that though.

Well lots of guys have injuries. And then a team can reach a point where they simply use that to make them disappear because they need to. I mean a totally broken and torn up shoulder and a slight hairline fracture that ain’t a big deal can read the same way on paper

We don’t actually know what that means for Darnold. Cam technically played with a broken back.

Well, it matters if it causes Tepper to stick with a mistake simply because he drastically overpaid.

call up Timmy Te bow at this point. Just wildcat it with him and let him call himself a QB to feel good

I mean, PJ will at least go down in a haymaker throwing blaze of glory. and the WRs will at least get the opportunity to make a big play most likely. which seems more exciting than Clausen ball even if the end result is the same.

It will look different. That’s good enough for me for a week at least. PJ is overly aggressive. But it will be more entertaining than scared and shell shocked Sam. and I still maintain, PJ in the Lions game was better than what Darnold has become the last 5 weeks. Not that THAT is what you are looking for. and fug, Barkley. After the PJ show I don’t want to see Barkley. Go find some random kid that has never had a shot before at least to waste our time with.

I mean we know for a fact they played him with an injured shoulder from the jump. That’s fact. and I don’t believe anything they are going to sell after the implosion of Darnold. They clearly haven’t earned that. NFL front offices and coaches are historically full of poo. And they conveniently have a new injury on top of the one he had….when the whole world is demanding their mistake be benched for poo play?

I agree. Whole lot of crow to be eaten when PJ and the mathematical outcome plays itself out. Every time they start PJ we win. It’s very simple math and we got all these folks talking about what they think they see with there eyes and a bunch of stuff like that.

I mean we have Sam Darnold acknowledging the injury in the post game Sunday. And it had already been looked into and discussed prior to the game. It was hurt on that Atlanta hit. It was reported on leading up to the game. Which is why he was forced to take questions on it after the game. It’s why he could clarify it was new and different injury and not a re-aggregation of an old injury to that shoulder.

I mean it’s not like a Matt Rhule/Sam Darnold caliber grievance. It really isn’t about Freeman. Just thinking about how this brain trust might over abuse CMC in a lost season and after they have admitted throwing the football isn’t wise anymore. I mean even this year we have seen CMC overused and on the field late in games that were well over.
