DJ #3 in the NFL in recieving first downs DJ #1 in your heart

some delay QB draws. If PJ gets one on one on the outside, he should definately put one or two up. What you don't want PJ doing is going over the middle and trying to figure out the traffic. Run. Get creative running. And when the Patriot give him one on one to the outside.....you got to let him attack that vertically on occasion.

Only way to win is for the D to play great and us not turn it over. PJ will have to make some passes downfield and use his legs for us to get a win. Try to keep him in the 20 pass attempt window but you are going to need him to go downfield some. Try to keep those shots to the sideline. If we pull out a win, I actually would wager that little Viking RB we picked up would be a key to the victory. Gonna need a little backfield playmaking happening.

this always gets weird though. The if a player does X with that team then somehow that means he would be doing the same here. Hell, just look at Fields the one game Nagy was forced to miss from COVID and wasn't allowed to call the plays for fields. He basically looked like the dude everyone thought the Bears were getting to work with. I don't know how Fields would look here. But Nagy and the Panthers would be doing different things with Fields.

I still don't think you have come to grips with how bad Sam Darnold is. That aside, we have played worse QBs than PJ Walker before too. It's not the end of times scenario you are painting. If we can find a way to score points with Brian St Peirre vs the Ravens? Well, I wouldn't expect a nothing burger from PJ. He is way too aggressive of a thrower for us not to get some points over 4 quarters lol. and our D is capable of getting us points if a QB literally does nothing but take a knee at times. And we are once again, playing a rookie QB.

Lesson of 2021 - when your daddy has to come out to make the case for you.....you done. Sorry, Cam. That's you too. And don't get all crazy people. Cam is my all time favorite Panther. But his career is over. And that's not really fair but that's what it is.

62 yards a game is (was) a 1000 yard season. Any feautred RB or #1 WR in theory should hit that if healthy. now, it's just 58 yards a game. OBJ is physically gifted WR.....that is injury prone, a basketcase and a shitty teammate. So in summary, he isn't a great WR.
-
89 being 89. lol, acting OBJ is great and it is all just Baker being horrible. That OBJ is in the right. Landry has always been better than OBJ in Clev because he is less of mental basketcase than OBJ.

He is making 6 million dollars this year to play a game. That’s made possible because of fanatics. Fans not just watching and saying stuff comes with the paycheck. but he is still my favorite player this season to watch.

hmmm. if you search his twitter handle his @ name doesn't link anymore in posts like it is deactivated. That's what I did trying to find that post initially. But you are right, I was able to just find his account up. Weird.

If you could rewind time…Would you have picked Mac Jones? (Article)
CRA replied to WarPanthers89's topic in Carolina Panthers
a reporter from the NE area who has seen a lot of Sam Darnold in recent years. and yes, the gameplan was 100% one of a team afraid of their QB imploding their teams chances of winning a game. Like he had done repeatedly in recent weeks going into that game. -
Erving's "effort" on the play that got Sam hurt
CRA replied to trueblade's topic in Carolina Panthers
we would have even less wins than we do now....if Joe Brady wasn't forced to run Sam Darnold. Joe Brady is damned if he does and damned if he doesn't. -

I'm not sure if Mac is as risk adverse to throwing downfield as Alex Smith was though. Smith was a better athlete though. -
And he deactivated his Twitter account after it

A fan doesn’t matter. The collective does. where do you think those big corporations want to dump their dollars? You gonna dump them in to an org an tarps covering up empty seats or into an org with a rabid and pumped fanbase. Probably can get better deal when things look horrible. I mean you are going to get some no matter what though. But the game is getting the most you can.

You clearly don’t see what is at the heart of my PJ talk. and you clearly close your eyes when I also bluntly type out that I want PJ to start…so that Rhule will be forced to move on from him and can no longer get by with wasting the roster spot with his Temple bud. Sam Darnold is literally horrible. He is a PJ tier QB. Read that carefully. And tell me what it says about PJ lol but anyway, back to facts. #1 Panther QB of all time ranked by win %? PJ Walker.

As much as I hate to say it, Robby Anderson might be the guy you take the risk on this week and emphasize in the prep. Bill is definitely going to do what you said. His next priority will be focusing on DJ Moore. So if someone is going to be left often in a position to make play…you got to think Bill will leave Robby the opportunity. Given he stops himself more often than not. to win I think we have to pass and someone not named DJ has to at least be a consistent contributor. Plus some QB runs/scrambles added in. QB is going to have to make some plays to help move the chains with their legs too IMO to beat Bill.
