  1. They should bench the nepo safety. That would be a start. Deion would take great pleasure in making an example out of a kid like that….but it’s his kid
  2. this. Stats lie. I could throw a 99 yard TD pass to XL. Put if it is a pop pass behind the line of scrimmage and he runs for essentially 105 yards for the score, breaking 5 tackles along the way.....that has nothing to do w/ me.
  3. and while it will change in the NIL era, Bryce is from the Bama/OSU/UGA issue era. Those QBs played on the best rosters in all of college football. Bama essentially being the best. And the gap is MASSIVE vs other teams. It's why there has been such consistency with how those QBs faired once they wren't protected/masked by such a massive talent gap in the competition.
  4. I mean, if Bryce Young had games like Nix did even vs Tampa, LV, etc......we would be throwing a party talking about how maybe the pick was worth it. Nix vs Young simplified. One QB meets all the physical qualities you look for, one had tons of college experience, one is paired up w/ a top tier NFL O mind. the other guy lacks a lot of the qualities you look for, played on the best roster in college football, is paired with meh O folks that have changed and changed (3 playcallers already). Doesn't really matter it's Young or Nix. That setup is largely going to play out the way it has.
  5. Probably gets like 4 carries or something small would be my guess
  6. yeah, moneyline is probably about as safe as a football game gets. I wouldn't touch the spread though.
  7. what's the line? 11? KC has been finding ways to win. But they certainly haven't played like a dominant team this season. 11 seems foolish to bet on. Even meh teams, generally come down to a single score with them this year.
  8. I mean, you just conceded Cam was better. I don't disagree that Jake had a better Super Bowl. Jake also had a better team around him too than Cam.
  9. I put Baker in C. I tried to get that logged an official start. C is crowded.
  10. Put that puts him w/ Jake Delhomme....I couldn't do that.
  11. I'm just ready for when Sanders leaves college football after this year just as I said he would.....and you mental gymnastics your way out of refusing to admit I was right about his mission/goal.
  12. Carolina Panthers starting QB tiers(in Carolina uniform) S - Newton A - Delhomme B - Collins, Beuerlein C - Allen, Moore, Anderson, Darnold, Mayfield, Pete, Testaverde, Walker, Dalton, Bridgewater D - Young, Carr F - Reich, St. Pierre, Grier, Lytle, Heincke, Fasani, Clausen
  13. PJ Walker has as many wins as Bryce in 1/3 the starts. PJ Walker is a better NFL QB and PJ Walker is at best a 3rd string QB.
  14. His size could work against him…BUT Cam is a weird duck. He was wired differently. I would bet on the young Cam that could barely get dressed after a loss….that dude wouldn’t have quit easily IMO. But that dude doesn’t exist anymore.
  15. Larry Fitz going to jump all them dudes next year. So if they don’t get in this year….they got to wait even longer
  16. He might but he shouldn’t. Rings shouldn’t carry that much weight. .500 QB that barely completed 60%. No way should that be first ballot in his era.
  17. 25 modern players announced. Next cut will be down to 15 finalist. Jared Allen, Luke Kuechly, and Steve Smith making the cut. 18. game going to be over at the half.
  19. I think that's pretty good. Got no issue w/ Jaguar over Panther. Think Jaguars got the strongest bite of all the cats and the Panther doesn't got the weight of the others. I think the Dolphin is the one I'd dig in on as being misplaced. I'd put it over at least the bottom 2 birds
  20. yep, Saints have consistently been a team that has shown the cap is smoke and mirrors for some. and most importantly, they have put together teams that have found ways to win and compete with meh QB.....while the Panthers boldly claimed the title of most harmless team in all of sports.
  21. because it's not just a cap convo. A reasonable person could argue..... Last 5 seasons (Tepper era) - Panthers acquired the title of worst team in ALL of pro sports. Last 5 seasons - Saints have 4 winning seasons and a couple division titles. They found ways to win w/ a broken down noodle arm Brees, the comedy trainwreck of Jameis Winston and the mehness of Carr. They have people in charge that have won Super Bowls. Being able to actually win and not be the literal worst in all of professsional sports....carries some legit weight in the convo. So in terms of top down? Saints got a HUGE edge over us with their front office. Cap situation sucks for both teams. Saints have proven in the past to work magic on it. and they have a better roster today than we do. And they got some young talent. No way would I say we are better off than the Saints.
  22. As a rookie CMC had 1058 rush AND receiving yards. That's not a struggling a rookie. What was evident, is he needed to gain muscle to be able to run between the tackles as a rookie. Which I commented on in that post. He made that correction and 2 years later was a 2k RB with 1000k rushing and 1000k receiving and the hands down best RB in the game. He did get a lot better, quickly. and rookie CMC still managed a better ypc than Jonathan Stewart that year. We were run heavy. Running into teams playing the run. and Alvin Kamara probably was a better value pick. He was a half step behind CMC for a 3rd round value. That's more acknowledging what what a steal Kamara was.
  23. New England is in a fantastic cap situation. Just like the Raiders. That's why it's just Clev for me.
  24. I could entertain an argument for Clev and the Raiders. But in the end, Tepper's overall resume as an owner and being the worst in all of pro sports is always going to tilt the scale in the end. Actually, Clev is pretty close.
  25. I think if this convo is held anywhere else in the world by reasonable football fans.....Carolina is generally going to rank at 32 and the worst.
