Falcons averaged 5.5. Bijan averaged 5.7. Penix just imploded the game and it was heavy Penix from the jump. I would wager a run run pass didn’t exist for the Falcons today

Penix was basically bad Bryce.

Negative. Most just acknowledge Penix pullled a bad Bryce day and totally gifted us one. Just horrible QB play that took the Falcons totally out of that game

The biggest issue on the team even on a fantastical day…..did nothing to boost his stock. Seems like an unavoidable convo given we got 14 more games ahead

We weren’t so much dominating on D most of that game as it was just Penix being horrible. Plays were clearly there to be made on our D. Atlanta’s issue is what our issue so often is….when we gift games and make meh defenses look like the 85 Bears. Thats Bryce. Not our opponents being great. Today was Penix doing that. the fact we don’t have an offense….is going to remain a massive issue when teams aren’t gifting us.

Well, if you were paying attention Canales basically went into don’t let Bryce screw it up hardcore mode edition just up 10 points half way into the game. Penix made that choice not costly just because he was horrific today. More football exists after today. The fact we don’t have a legit QB is still THE talking point as they go forward.

It’s his career bro. The only point is today alters nothing. O did nothing today outside of the scripted opening drive. you get gifted a game like this MAYBE once or twice a season. So all the warts are still going to be relevant as we go forward

Bryce hasn’t really done anything….which is largely the signature to a Panther win. Don’t be a trainwreck and hope our RBs or D have an abnormal day to get a win. It’s backup level QB play. and that’s been basically every win we have found in his career. Minus the one anomaly game. but yeah, he hasn’t kept us from winning a game Penix gift wrapped. Thats 100% correct. But Bryce hasn’t looked like a starting NFL QB a single game this season. And it’s year 3.

The formula to win with Bryce is crystal clear. Ask him not to do much and not mess it up….hope others can go win you a game. Which has been basically every win minus the 1 game anomaly to his career. Which is why the wins are so rare….because it’s rare our D or run game can win a game with just don’t screw it up for us QB play

Well, at the half my prediction was pretty spot on. Falcons sort of gifted us the first half by making it such a heavy Penix game and not a Bijan game. Panthers O pretty meh overall. 98 passing yards with the run okay. Need a TD to open up the second half to prevent the Falcons from going to the ground like last week

TMac is also huge vs Renfrow. So Renfrow is going to require an accurate passer. TMac less so

3 bad balls to Renfrow. They got zero chemistry

Bryce can’t get decent balls to Renfrow. Everythrow to him is generally off. Small to small isn’t a good connection for him

Gotta think the Falcons thought we were so bad they could work a Penix gameplan….which has a been a gift to us. It’s not what they have been doing.

Panthers really need to get up here and put points on the board before the Falcons fix their gameplan. It’s all on Penix and we need to keep it that way.
