I didn’t think it was a secret who my team is. but if we are keeping score this season, you been pretty dang wrong on college football
-
100%. You can pickup a new team by degree/attendance or I’ll even give folks moving (whether it’s your team or you moving). But someone that just changes up teams for a winner or shiny object? That’s the worst
-
Um, Clemson is my team. My only team since I learned to walk. That’s how sports is supposed to go boss.
-
I don’t get why yall would want him. The Belichick of college football left last year because that won’t work in the present day environment.
-
You aren’t a Colorado fan because when Deion predictably leaves after this year….you will no longer be a fan. Guess you will be a Raider fan next year.
-
If UNC hires BB…Clemson will sleep well knowing the ACC is still their’s.
-
portal is live and open today right? I would assume of you were getting Bill.....you would want him at the start. Because Bill would be a portal heavy guy I would think
-
he gets to negotiate another NIL deal. and someone in the BIG10/SEC likely would want him. Lot of QB question marks going into next season IMO.

I know most of y'all want defense but currently at pick 4...
CRA replied to micnificent28's topic in Carolina Panthers
I'm on the D train. Give me Carter in round 1 and round 2. Team game. D often makes the O good or bad. We went O heavy last year. I wouldn't be shocked if 6'5 4.5 speed TMac comes into the NFL struggles separating. We got of enough of that. -

I want Carter in round 1 and Carter in round 2. D Go rent some quick footed slot WR. We just drafted XL in round 1 last year. Give him some reasonable time to develop. -
WhoaCam about to get his high profile NFL coach!

Sure they would have still made the 12 team format. I’m not suggesting UGA should be out with that news. But if there starting QB is out for the season….how do you not ding them and knock them down a couple spots from #2. Given what they did last year with key QB injuries if you know that.

https://twitter.com/lundinbridge/status/1866270803886534925 Shane Beamer struggling lol. You can tell he realizes during his argument that he is making a horrible argument and still tries the spin. Just have a drink. You exceeded expectations boss.

Losing your starting QB going into the playoff mattered last year. Precedent was set. Not saying they would have been out if it was known but you think they might have to be slightly dinked given what they did last year
-
Kirby probably initially quiet….because I think the CFP had some precedent set that you have to penalize a team that loses their starting QB
-
I think I’m going to wait until next week before I sell yall some knee deep horse poo about how Texas is going to go down. Still waiting on some inspiration.
-
I'll be rooting against all SEC teams the entire time (outside of Tenn in round 1, then I hope they lose the next round).
-
I thought we were talking about Bill Belichick being suddenly a fun college coach? Most of misread your post.
-
maybe. Texas did have a bad day....but were lucky to have a bad vs another team also having a bad day. A&M didn't muster a single offensive point that game. Not even a FG. To me, I don't think a single team in this playoff can have a bad day vs an opponent having a good day. And the CFP has generally had teams that could navigate those days. maybe I will end up liking the 12 team format. I think the format clearly works against the better teams though. Let's say it runs chalk to the final 4. Odds are you still end up w/ someone getting beat up by the time they get to the final 4.... and that team might of been FSU'd had it been known.
-
one thing is clear, format screwed the #1 team. I got no confidence to say any team is going all the way. Can't trust any of them. They all can have a bad day and lose. I guess if I had to put a nickel on predicting a team making the Championship game I might go w/ UGA making that game. what hurts Texas is just the math of football. They got to stay healthy enough and play good enough to pull off 4 straight wins to win it all. That's where things get dicey w/ this 12 team format. Health. Making a 4 game run vs different degrees of good to get the natty is tough sledding. who knows, it will be interesting to see the 12 team format play out.

The whole drop back 50 times and sprinkle in 8 random run plays while Sanders holds the ball against Big12 athletes....isn't going to fly against a good SEC front. the comment has nothing to do with Milroe.
-
my overall wish list still remains and I think the league and our production support it. I've been hammering it since the day we drafted Bryce. The Panthers have zero YAC ability. Bryce Young needs a legit receiving RB and a legit YAC slot WR. Something he should of had day 1 given how he plays the game. He still doesn't have that. Maybe Brooks would have been that but Brooks remains an unknown. We need to replace Sanders will a legit receiving RB. That doesn't require big money. And we need to invest in a quick slot WR to log snaps in the slot with YAC ability. Thielen might be clutch. He might have great hands. But he is a TE that will continue to slow. He should be a roleplayer that doesn't dominate snaps next year in the slot.
-
I'm going to go ahead and call my upset pick right now. Notre Dame drops to 0-3 all time in the CFP
-
adding to this, Buffalo, Lions and KC are also all in the top 6 in terms of YAC. that's the difference. We put the ball in people's hands and that's the end of the play. The good teams put the ball in the hands of their guys and the plays extend. We basically play the game w/ TEs everywhere at this stage. We have actual TEs. Old WRs with great hands that really threatens like a TE downfield. And a young WR who plays like a TE. We need more diversity at WR. We need some explosive quick feet.
