I agree. I just don't see Evero as being a scapegoat after they brought him back this year. If Young doesn't play well they have Dalton to lean on which should also fall on them. Rhule proved that a year 3 should be earned or it shouldn't happen.

This has been the story since he was drafted. With how bad the D looks again it could end up being everything is just bad and the fault will start at Tepper and roll down hill from there.

They lack a dawg in a leadership position. Tepper doesn't hire those people and the closet this team comes is Morgan looking for it yet never finding it. I just see it as a bonus in a player but someone above them needs to have that mentality.

The decline of this board is nothing compared to the decline of the team. As for the reality of the internet, there are a lot of places to recieve Panthers content and give opinions. The tech has just moved on along with the masses. This place is still fun for me because the team isn't.

Getting a team up to speed and discipline has been so nonexistent here that fans forget coaches do more than call plays...

They just signed a SS that's only useful in Evero's scheme and a liability pretty much in any other D I can think of and an absolute dinosaur in 4-3. Im fine on the 3-4, I just don't like the scheme or coaching personally. I also don't see any easy switch to 4-3. That unit has failed on most of their personal choices since Evero got here and at this point it's wishful thinking anything changed this year until something actually changes. If/when it does then we can all talk about what switch will be good in the future because I have zero faith Evero pulls himself out of the nose dive he is in currently.

Who kept Evero and spent an offseason building around him? After a historically bad year none the less. Now you expect them to lure a DC to help save their jobs? They should have done that this season since the new guy would have had the ability to splurge on his guys. I like DC as an OC but he is soft and undisciplined as a HC. Dan has value too but I haven't seen anything to lead me to belive he will ever be a great GM. I think both are over promoted which only ends one way unfortunately.

Dan built a D around a not good DC and with what they spent in cap and picks his job security should be on the line. Looking at the work he has done recentpy it's more than fair to be skeptical at this point. On thr flip side Im more impressed with his cheap gems than his high picks or expensive free agents. Coker should be above XL on the depth chart so even if he can fins them they still have to play them while navigating the politics of the situation.
