He is so damn tiny. Great vision but he scares the hell out of me. I would be happy to snag a DE and then trade back up into the 1st with our 2nds for him. He looks like he is 5'10" at best and under 180 lbs lol. The combine measurements is going to be his biggest hurdle for him with his skills. Could be a legit NFL starter or a guy who peaked in school.

Even when I don't agree with them they add value to the total conversation and I love it. It's been a light in these dark times. They nailed this one and they did pull up short. We traded CMC and got better because we have had no one that could use him correctly (the bonus for him is he found that now). We haven't with Burns either IMO and adding a giant contract to that equation isn't going to make anything better lol.

Ellis' podcast went in to that trade then players that went in the draft with Burns' production being absolutely replaceable and overvalued by the Panthers/fans. That was the kind of trade that isn't often seen and we won't get nearly that much if we do end up shipping him off on his 5th year option or tag. That fact it could have put us in reach to snag our QB of choice without crippling our future is a no brainer with that 2nd. It just sounds like what Hurney said about Burns is still being thrown around in house and it's just not true yet and I'm not sure it ever will be. If he signs his new deal at those projected #s then we will be screaming to dump him in less than 3 years unless we go to a 3-4 and he is putting up the kind of production that justifies the contract he is expecting after hearing what another team valued him at...even if they were braindead to offer that for him. Moore I get though that GB pick could be a top 10 pick but his cap hit is hard to trade this year. Neither one is good enough to be untouchable. Sorry but it's true and I like both as players.

Sure...as long as a solid QB isn't there. That is my 'ohh well get one in the 2nd or package the 2s for a late 1st QB' plan B.

I didn't know it was GB's 1st for Moore. Damnnnnn Meh he didn't have an impressive resume and he looked like the likeable but not extremely talented guy up in Seattle when they were doing poorly in the draft and overspending for the wrong talent. They actually look better since Fritterer came here. We could do better but I'm not sure Tepper could at this point. There isn't anyone except Morgan in the FO that I wouldn't be sad to see go away at this point. There is zilch that he has done or experienced that leads me to believe is capable of being a traditional non-yes man GM at this time IMO.

Absolutely have to be able to take a shot on QBs. I would rather go the rookie route, usually and especially given our situation.

I'm tired of seeing short QBs play. If this guy measures out how he looks then hard pass. Worth a shot in the 2nd/trade back late 1st if we miss out on Stroud.

No thank you. I do not want to see a HC make this kind of trade in year 1. Maybe in year 2, hopefully not, but all I want to see this year is a great draft and those players getting coached up. I also don't agree with the fully guaranteed contracts in a cap system. It is just a dumb thing to do. The Ravens are smart to bail if it comes to that. A mega trade deal and then mega contract is not something I want to see us on the buying end of anytime soon.

There are a lot of options if we don't like anyone left at our pick in the 1st. First we need a good coaching staff with a solid and realistic direction.

Deals like that should be taken and not given. They fugged up and there is no way around it once the 2nd was thrown in. I get 2 future first being hard to swallow but that was a deal they wouldn't have to justify to anyone. Again, if they are not good enough to use that kind of capital well having Burns here won't change our fate.

Ohh I am fine with snagging a QB. There is zero excuse to not in this draft. It may not be a 1st but that debate can't really rage until we know where we are picking and who is available. I was saying it would be nice to have that safety net to take another swing if the first one wasn't good enough. Another 1st in 2024 gives us a lot of options in a worst case scenario.

I think people are still shellshocked from last year. When thr bar drops that low it begins to muddle the view because it is all up and so far at that. Pretty much how we will be talking during the coach search after Frule.

Tepper hasn't hired a consultant yet so we are probibly stuck with the FO guys I want to see fired. Wilks is a good guy trying to be what he isn't so I have no hate for him. The players are practicing so I'm resigned to that. It doesn't look to have any positive effect other than mocking Tepper so have at it if that is what you want to chant in another exciting pooshow game I hope I don't forget to watch.

Burns isn't a Peppers or Luke. Is is solid and not some Panther great. His production is replaceable. He has sold some jerseys but the seats being full or empty has little to do with Burns being on the roster. Good guy and fun but replaceable.

Thursday is the worst football day and this game only makes it worse. I'm a fan and might still forget there is a game on woth my team in it. Watching Amazon eat these crap games for a billion dollars is a huge bonus tho.

The 2nd in 2023 changes it to too good to turn down and yet they did. The firsts being future picks is fine in that equation. There is no defending not making that trade for Burns, he isn't worth close to that.

In camp and preseason. There are zero guarantees and we may need him. Look at Lance. Also having a valuable 2nd QB would be killer. So he is getting a shot. I'm just not sure he can make it into a season at this point not on IR.

He is getting a shot regardless but I'm not holding my breath on him coming back and going super nova. One of his biggest concers was durability coming out so looking bad in this preseason isn't what makes me tepid on hope with him at this point. If he can come back next year and just be available then I would be happy to see what he can do.

He is very good. I deleted it because it felt harsh. He isn't great unfortunately, at least not here. I agree as a 3-4 edge the tackles would go down but sacks way up. I think he also plays well at LDE but we rotate him becaude of the lack of priduction from the other players. Some here treat him like a unreplaceable player yet Riddick was just picked up for cheap and no picks was really my point. We absolutely should have traded him for that haul and it wouldn't have had to be justified at that price.

The Saints need to get away from their now unnecessary cap hell now that they are not contenders. We can clean up our mistakes by the end of next year if we are smart and they can't. They look limited as long as they are still operating like it's still 2017...and they still didn't win a SB with all that fuggery lol.
