Developing a QB is anything but a set science. Most QBs bust regardless if they play right away or ride the pine, and there are outliers in every scenario. They were #2 in yards allowed because the offense constantly gave the other team a short field. If the other team only has to go 30 yards to score, that is recorded as our D only giving up 30 yards. Yay?!? It’s a dumb stat. By other measures we had one of the worst Ds last year.

Making guys earn their spot is 100% NFL. I you want to read into that stuff though, the pairings today were Sam/Elfien/christiansen and Baker/bozeman/Iky. One of those is a clear starting combo of QB/center/LT.

It was just a drill. That’s just the order they are practicing in. Means absolutely nothing.

They have enough players in camp to where this isn’t a problem. Typically they bring in QBs just as a camp arm. PJ will be gone after camp.

Yeah, but any bozo can look great for 2-3 games. I expect Corral will get some game time but will still be a question mark next off-season. If Baker sucks, corral will get a legit shot. If Baker works out, Corrals career is most likely toast.

I doubt Baker plays.

I guarantee he’ll look great in camp. What he looks like game time is still to be determined.

I would put Tepper slightly higher than the Haslams. Not as dumb as them, but still trying hard but making a ton of mistakes. He got a good GM but failed dramatically with the HC hire.

Honestly, it’s looking like he’s not going to get much of a chance. Baker is either going to do well enough get a 2nd year or Rhule and Co are gone and a new regime comes in wanting their own ‘guy’. Sucks but that is usually how it goes. Guys like Corral usually don’t get much of a chance.

I got it around Christmas. Brought back a lot of memories for sure. The campaign was very well done IMO. Multi took time to get used to since I hadn’t played much halo since college, but it’s as good as I remember halo 2 being.

Yeah, I remember seeing guys fish network cables down to other dorm rooms for this. The campaign co-op was great. Spent too much time doing that with roommates back in 2003.

That just shows Baker doesn’t care about winning. We have a lot of guys like that on the team. He should fit right in.

I don’t know enough about McAdoo but yeah I doubt they’ll get along either.
