  1. If Fitterer isn't then this feels meaningless and even possibly detrimental. If we're keeping Fitterer but firing another coach mid-season, then I feel like most of the coaching talent pool are going to scoff at requests to interview. The reason being is it looks like we have a buffoon running the team and an even bigger buffoon running the front office. Who would really want to interview with us? Please Jesus, fire Scott Fitterer.
  2. Yeah, he traded sometimes, but overall he acquired picks more than lost them. The Panthers had a lot of selections with Hurney compared to any of their other GMs. The thing with Hurney is he wasn't bad with all trades. For example, he fleeced Chicago for Greg Olsen which was a cornerstone of the offense for nearly a decade. He also was able to trade away guys like Kelvin Benjamin, somehow acquiring a third rounder.
  3. Mingo should really be benched until he learns to run basic routes. Give Smith-Marsette a chance.
  4. I think Mingo's interview was overblown. I think they saw what they wanted to see in him. This is what Fitterer looks at first, then fills in the gaps with confirmation bias while watching tape and interviewing players.
  5. It looks like Mingo did run a pretty ugly route on that pick-six.
  6. I don't know if I've ever seen such low scores for any position group before.
  7. When Hurney drafts another franchise quarterback, but for another team.
  8. Hurst is trash. I can't wait for the off-season to start dropping the dead weight.
  9. We need a real GM. I've never seen a Panthers' roster with so little talent.
  10. Back to the ol' 'but can he play left tackle'.
  11. Bryce is going to have to be a magician for this team to score regularly.
  12. Houston's backup offensive line looks amazing.
  13. This is the worst Panthers roster we've ever had. Fitterer has to be fired.
  14. Do you think Ben Johnson rejected us last year because of Fitterer being the current GM? Maybe the Panthers can try again this year to convince him to come to Carolina.
  15. Bryce still has a chance to be good, Bryce still has a chance to be good, Bryce still has a chance of being good.
  16. I will never believe another thing Tepper & his stooges say. I cannot believe I can evaluate NFL talent at a much higher level than men, who are paid, that spend night and day working for a franchise. I shouldn't be able to, this is how low the Panthers front office has fallen since David Tepper took over. I spend a few hours a week in the off-season watching cut-ups and evaluating players, forming my own conclusions — that's it. We're the new Browns, we're the new Jets, we're the new Jaguars.
  17. Fitterer isn't making it past BYE week right? Every player he's brought in, his guys, have failed spectacularly, while costing this franchise its future.
  18. We could have traded to three, had Richardson, and kept Moore. I guess it's ride or die with Bryce now.
  19. The same crowd that wants to ship off Burns for a receiver and pick is the generally the same crowd that had DJ Moore slated as a number two receiver.
  20. So, this isn't accounting for traded picks? Gettleman would trade up every year, to the point of giving the Panthers the fewest picks in the league during his time here. Fitterer has been even worse trading away picks. Hurney, I think, ended up with a net positive number of picks from some trade backs and trading players like Kelvin Benjamin.
