  1. Our run defense has been horrible going back some time now even as other areas of our defense have improved. This despite spending a top-10 pick on a DT, a 2nd rounder on a DE, and signing a pretty well regarded veteran in Matt Ioannidis. The question is: is this because we just don't have the players capable of stopping the run or is there a larger schematic issue to blame here? Or could it be both? What say the Huddle?
  2. Nobody WANTS us to lose. Most of us just realize that we're never going to win consistently (if at all) with Matt Rhule as our head coach.
  3. We need to go out and get the biggest run-stuffing DT we can find that's still available. Wonder what Kelvin Benjamin is up to these days?
  4. Lord. Ickey was literally playing in his FIRST fuging GAME against the best pass rusher in the league. Give the guy more than one game before you label him a bust. Jaycee Horn was playing in his FOURTH game EVER. And honestly wasn't God awful anyway. This is the stupidest post I've seen in a while.
  5. Why they didn't put Bozeman in after the first botched snap - let alone the second - is beyond me.
  6. I've been saying for 2 years now that Rhule isn't a bad coach. His issue has primarily been his terrible personnel decisions. This offseason was much better; hopefully a sign that Fitterer/Morgan have more direct control. Or at least that Rhule listens to them more than he did his first couple years.
  7. Have never seen the big deal with this guy. Bottom of the roster/practice squad QB.
  8. I honestly wouldn't mind giving Leatherwood a look at guard. If you can put him with a good OL coach and work on his technique issues he could at least be decent.
  9. Wow. Can't believe we actually got a team to give up something for this guy.
  10. Haven't seen him play but his numbers aren't God awful. For a late round pick I guess it's worth a shot.
  11. I'd keep a tackling dummy over Dennis Daley.
  12. Sounds like he's as advertised. Physical potential through the roof but needs technique work and experience. Why he needs to play early and often.
  13. For a late round pick, fine. Anything more is too much.
  14. Then it takes Tom Brady a few more plays to get the Pats into field goal range and we still lose. The defense was gassed at that point. They weren't stopping anybody.
  15. There's no such thing as "dark horse" playoff contenders in the NFC right now, IMO.
  16. He'll be fine as long as he gets reps and experience. The worst thing we can do right now is sit him because he's "not ready."
