  1. These guys and girls want “honor” from one side. When the other side is dishonorable, they explain it away “well, atleast the player got something.” Again, the Ravens organization wouldn’t even be in the playoffs if it wasn’t for Lamar playing the time he did. We see things fell apart once he left. He showed just by sitting out, that he is worth what he’s asking. Ultimately, this is the route I’d like the organization to take. Draft a guy in the first, and let’s rock on.
  2. While Shannon Sharpe is one who says Lamar is right in what he’s doing. In fact; he says he’d do the same.
  3. That team wouldn’t even be in the playoffs if he sat out the year. Lol at leaving them in a bad position. Every play in the NFL is a risk, indeed. That’s the reason he’s sitting out. He wouldn’t get the contract he’s looking for if he had an injury that went into the next year.
  4. I don’t know. You should ask owners and team front offices that question when they just up and cut players. If they’re able to do that, I see no issue with a player using the little power they do have to get the contract they feel they deserve.
  5. lol at “quit on his team” Knew that narrative would come. Lamar was generous to even suit up for them to start the year, knowing he was trying to get the big contract. Once he got a scare, he was smart to shut it down. Other NFL players agree. I’d love Lamar, and would be willing to part with 2 1sts, but anything more, I’m ok with going the draft route. Willing to give up a bit more to move up in the draft
  6. Settle down, Tepper. I like Johnson, as well, but please go through the process. Also, please no more 7 year deals. Give whoever you hire a 3 or 4 year deal
  7. Looks like I might’ve spoke too soon. You got this one lol
  8. I hope they lose. It’s bad enough, for our draft position, that they made the playoffs
  9. Not doing too well since you said this
  10. Seattle gone stick with Geno. He’s a late bloomer, but he’s legit.
  11. I have no problem moving up this year. I have no problem moving up next year. I have no problem moving picks at all, if you’ve identified your guy. Now, you want to move up for Williams or Maye. If both are the truth like you believe, then why would a team that needs a QB trade with us next year; especially as QB needy teams will likely increase? All this wait for next years QBs really makes little sense, as one.) if Fitt plans on making major moves this offseason, one could asssume we’ll have a better record next year which means a move closer to the middle of the draft. 2.) Most ppl are finicky with QBs, as you like a batch right now, and next year you’ll be saying “wait till next year” again. 3.) again, if Willams and Maye are the truth, then why would a team pass that up if they’re in position to grab them?
  12. So, in saying this…how are we going to ever get a franchise/elite QB? You mention if the QBs were elite, the bears and teams up front would be taking them. If we’re a middle of the pack team, then how do we get those elite QBs now and in the future?
  13. Also, didn’t Fitt say something to the tune of the team was going to get sexy or some sh*t this offseason, hinting that they were going to make moves to win now. There is no Drake Maye or Caleb Williams coming here, as the team will not be bad enough. This franchise is so confusing, man. We’re going to continue to do what we’ve been doing, and next year we’ll get the same results.
  14. Lamar is more than a running QB. I don’t know why he’s being reduced to just that in here. He’s on par with Josh Allen, and Allen is correctly labeled as a dual threat. Lamar has wheels, and is a great runner, but he can beat you with his arm as well. I’d love to have him.
  15. Right. This whole “wait until the next year to draft said and said QB” doesn’t work for us. You can pretty much pencil us in to be picking between 8-10 next year. Our best opportunity was this year, well, until we fired Rhule. We probably end up at 1 or 2 if he would’ve stayed coach. He was terrible
  16. We shall see. We shall see. It all sounds good what you saying. Oh, and watch it with the disrespect.
  17. That’s cool, and I agree with your first paragraph. I’m not down with the 2nd. My backup can’t be both inaccurate and have serious issues with processing what they’re seeing on the field. And, as long we’re being consistent with our labeling, I’m cool. If you’re going to call one inaccurate, and point to his numbers as proof, then we need to do the same with others that display those same %’s.
  18. Someone posted Sam’s stats, and I noticed that completion %. So, since it’s been below 60% in every season but one, can we now say he’s a QB that doesn’t process well; as well as, an inaccurate one. With those 2 flaws, why would we want to bring him back? Many of the posters who are cool with the possibility of Sam coming back, were the main ones who always complained about our past QBs accuracy. Sam appears to be worse in that category. Let’s move on.
  19. Will you still remain a fan once Darnold gets the boot, and goes to another team? Wouldn’t bother me if both are irrelevant to this team. I want both gone from next years squad.
  20. PJ is better than Sam according to this.
