  1. Just be color blind like me and you wont worry about it any more. I can't tell the difference in any of the pics
  2. Don't like bumping up an old thread, but I wont let that be the last thing said about Steve Smith. Steve Smith WILL be a Hall of Famer, most likely 1st ballot. His numbers alone put him in, his national TV gig will get him in faster. No one outside of the dude above cares about a couple of altercations he had during practice when it comes to HoF voting. Here are some images of how we should remember a Panther Goat
  3. We really need a 3rd down possession/red zone threat type of guy to replace Samuel.
  4. Bpa at an immediate impact position. This team has many holes to fill, not just QB.
  5. No one outside of Carolina cares about what Steve Smith did on the practice field. He will be a first ballot HOFer, his work as NFLN personality will push help him out too.
  6. Everyone blaming Hurney, but the two biggest factors were Matt Kalil and Luke. I get roasting him for everything but he had no control over those 2 contracts
  7. I moved to Charlotte in early 1990, just after Hugo. I either attended a game at the end of the 89-90 season or beginning of 90-91 season. My aunt would get tickets through her job for all kinds of things, including Hornets games. This was the beginning of my Charlotte sports fandom.
  8. Shows just how much faster Ginn was than anyone else. Made Samuel look like he was in slow mo
  9. Everyone references the guy like it's normal, nothing about Mahomes is normal. Mahomes probably could have started day 1 anyway.
  10. I feel a top 10 qb should be ready to go day 1. If they need to sit a year then they are a project QB and shoukd be taken at the end of the first round or early 2nd.
  11. Jones and Lance are day 2 QBs who are getting hyped into round 1
  12. Its not like we have 7 and 8 to go get Wilson. If we stay at 8 we probably get no QB. I dont see how this isnt win win
  13. Maybe we see something like this Lions get pick 8 and TB Panthers get Stafford and pick 72
  14. The thing about Stafford is we can restructure. Question is why would they restructure for less money? Quick answer is guaranteed money. They already got it from their previous teams and with a restructure they can get more
  15. Yeah, you would be a moron not to take that deal
  16. Yeah, they still have 2020 figures on OTC, by the time I realized I couldn't edit.
  17. Love how the same posters show up in every Watson thread and complain how it's another Watson thread. If you don't like it move on, how does it really affect your every day life that someone posted a Watson thread? Fact is, there is a possibility of getting Watson, which is the biggest news for the Panthers atm. Whether you want or think it will happen is irrelevant, the question was a hypothetical question so it doesn't need comments about how it's not going to happen. To answer the question, Watsons Cap hit isn't that large this year or next. We basically have 2 years to get a more favorable contract. This combined with letting go of certain players, gives us the salary cap needed to fix the O line by signing Moton, finding a gem or 2 in free agency, and through the draft. Like others have said, I doubt we trade Burns or Chinn. But, hypothetically if we did, it would be easier to live without Chinn.
