Im out on this one- smart huddles have aleady mentioned these, here are the top 3 reasons NOT to sign trey. 1. Age 2. He's a career 4-3 end 3. Money/cap space. He may have a couple more 15+ sacks seasons of the health can get back on the plus side, but odds are against him. If he were a HOFer level player, I'd go for it. Draft another edge guy in this deep draft and turn prince and nic loose next year.

Id still take stroud 10/10, he's got to the playoff each year. But yes that was about the about the worst half of NFL QBing Ive seen in 30 years.....I turned the channel cause I felt too bad for the guy...

Its real and Been talked about among all the stat nerds, you got to member the massive turnover each NFL season. Rough numbers- every team will replace around 35% of the their roster each year and around 8 HC will be fired each year. Its crazy, but that's the deal....

Cards have hired GB DC. Mcderp, he was the one to end the goat HC rein. At the time bills were in the 20 years and no playoffs area. He own that division, Billy beanie has done little drafting after-wise after getting very lucky with Josh Allen. Since then Josh has carried the most, its very hard drafting with the 25th spot each round.

I mean I hope they have a plan, jobs are on the line. Why cause of growth in wins and everything/one has improved during the Dan and Dave era, even the hotdogs taste better... They are smart enough to not go into the start of next year without more real options than the current bunch....current bunch could pull a miracle and improve some too, just get in the 10-18 range would be great and bring more problems that are welcomed with improving....but Im not betting on that, I am on them bring in a couple names even if they have to use cap space and early picks(you never want to be saved by a rookie QB, but it does happen ex- iants).

Its a basic IQ test, no worries tho if they don't. Panthers would just be looking for a HC+staff, QB, and maybe a GM after 2026.....

Brother tossed them a 5th for Jones and a 6th. Or something close, get something done. I feel Dave knows his job is on the line, ME- WISE 10000000% I would NOT be tied to only BY and Dalton...... Lock, use the 2nd rounder(2-5th rounders) on somebody, trade, etc. It needs to done and its determines the future. BY is a blackhole in terms of hope......Id want to find other options at the cost of not using the 1st rounder. But that's me, Dave must knows this as well and if not......I hope 2026 has better HC options.... I feel 4 legit names should be in all the camps and OTAs. Rookies, former 1st round bust(lance?!?!), etc.

Not that I want to defend him and again I just never liked the guy to begin with. He did help win close games, you can always play the numbers game. Cards, Iants and that last Buc was within one score. Add a ST TD *could have allowed the Panthers to steal a Win in any of those 4 games.... Offense is bad, no question. I think the constant OL turnover finally hit at the end of season. Coker and Sanders missed time, and I do feel it would have helped if either could get over the injury curse. No excuses and all. I don't know why the BY stans, don't focus on the lack of talent/pros outside Tmac......corpse of AT carried, Id bring this up non-stop if I wasn't a BY truther/"hater". Like I said in another post, Panthers and Dave are sorta stuck together.....no one wanted to interview Dave and no one wanted to move their family to the queen only to have David tepper fire them at week 14. I get the bad and I agree with preferring KOC. There's lots I wish he would consider and one huge bonus is he's still learning....I mean everyone's favorite topic BY, thats Dave.....he's the BY of NFL HCs........ I feel he knows at very min, he must bring in a couple QBs to allow Dave to remain employed. Some hot names that would be on the white board- Geno, ugh....Wilson, and one of my super sleepers- Drew Lock. Hell Matt Jones, Tyson Bagnet, etc should be on top options too. Its very hard, but within a couple weeks he did bench the "franchise". I guess I feel like Panthers and Dave are stuck with each other, for better or worst. While its among the best options.......its also not the worst nor another fuging staff reset. I had hes better than I thought and learning.......big time off-season for him in QB, DC, and pressure from 5 to 8 wins.......not to cause a wreck via U-haul on fluffing him, but next season is looking murderous. No matter the draft or FA hits, 4 wins outside the Turd mountain NFC south looks impossible. 6 wins is the best I forsee and that's if they get lucky with the draft and FAs.
