  1. joe with the three weeks ago news update.....
  2. I did hear a new report. One team has followed him for two full years, Im talking going to each games and remaining at arms length. The giants have done the most research on him, BY FAR. The issue is if they pass on him at 3, many other teams will follow. He's all over the map in terms of ranks. Anywhere from top 5 to late 3rd. I forgot where who what, but one assistant coach thats being in the league for a long time, said sanders had the worst interview he's been a part of. He under-dressed Sanders with entitlement and taking needless sacks= no chance at NFL success. He wrapped it up by saying "he's simply not good" is his main problem over the other issues.
  3. Claim him, I know Dan wants to do IT, so DO IT!! https://www.seahawks.com/news/seahawks-waive-nt-cameron-young
  4. One of the bigger reasons for his rise is draft people listening to this report- https://www.clarionledger.com/story/sports/college/ole-miss/2024/08/08/ole-miss-football-pete-golding-walter-nolen-quinnen-williams-alabama/74658977007/ Quinn Williams was drafted 3rd overall. That 2019 draft is much better than this 2025 one. Nolen is thought to be a better williams. If that's the case, buckle up..... With the current information flowing in, its starting to feel like (<insert old draft joke>) Nolen will not even make it 8.
  5. Currently Nolen is top ten lava hot. One of the better Dallas reporter swore Nolen would not make it past Dallas.
  6. Id say in the past few years verge has made some predictions and was on the money. I cannot stress how hard it is to be right or close to right on draft guesses. Vastly more than not, verge dropped some correct statements. Many of those names are linked to Panthers from various visits and reports from other sources. @Verge what ended up with that old source you used? I think it was an area scout from Indy. Plus I thought you "retired" from these type of threads(mainly cause of donkeys...) For me this is one of the double double tricks to ruse you to fool everyone type of deals. I can not get over Dave and others commenting/drooling on Walker as a player/leader. It's just sus as all hell. Now we are going to find out if verges smokescreen sources were given mis-leading information or did the national media get lazier with repeating "Panthers absolutely love jalon walker". Small part of me believes Panthers do in fact want walker, BUT the dominant side of me is reminded of the last few years of out-comes..
  7. It seems Nolen is the hottest name leading into the draft. A few new reports have him in the top 10 and a top target of Carolinas/trade up teams. I thought people/scouts/media were sleeping on him.
  8. My gif was aimed at the rankings, after #1 a complete failure. better off if they used a randomizer, just awful.
  9. You just know he wants 30+ million per. That's my cope......
  10. final mock- Everyone knows panthers love walker, enough has been said. Now the dream/fantasy starts with Grant falling out of the mid-1st round. Higgins is another star falling, I just don't see him there. Skattebo was just the best player on the board, I got him around 80th best. Reed should compete for starter snaps at either safety. Phillips is a favorite of mine, in fact he is my main target mid-rounds. Gadsden typical upside TE. Castro is a legit safety and should be a 4 phase STer week one. 5th best safety on ranks. Robinson came in at 103 on DJs top 150, just another BPA and he should make the 53 as depth.
  11. one year ago he was thought of as #1 and clear top 5 for many coming into the season. He had a high ankle deal game one and kept playing, never gone the burst back. Said he was 100% healthy recently and had very "meh" workouts. I just view him as the worst outcome, that's fine by me. There's about 20 others I feel the same about, just a odd draft.

    Rumors

https://www.profootballrumors.com/ some repeats and some new mixed in.
  13. The league has grown since LT and lewis my friend. I'd almost say its not even the same sport. Plus you listed the defense goat and a top 5 MLB in NFL history, that's some comparisons..... I need to see if Joe Alt played against Georgia.... Just the facts are small players are ultra rare success stories, Walker has the odds stacked against him. It that what you want at #8 overall?? Im beginning to hate this draft....
  14. What about 2026 RT?? Bonus the contract should be lower too. Just means finding a new LT instead of RT....
  15. This is my concern as well. I was a fan until he measured 6' 3/4.......... there's only von Miller and Reddick for the small success crew. Not to mention his arms, length, weight, etc/ he's just small......I hated drafting a small QB. The odds are against them. I even thought back to Elvis dummville, who was 260 LBs *but 5'11.... There's a reason for not many small OLB success stories. I think Williams would be a better OLB/ panther fit. Im shocked Dan listed walker as a OLB. I think Walker is a LB, he's even small there too.... Plus given he's not Luke, he's not worth #8. Finally imo he is maxed out as player with his small comings and history of being like a DC on the field. My hope is for a great trade back package, that Brandt and an cannot say no. Let some other team find the luck God with walker...
  16. He's in the building and I heard after one of Dave pressers reference Eric. He made dave some 3rd down models and success rate of certain play calls. The many details too much to list. You know Tepper is a analytics guru, he finally got one of the biggest NFL analytic brains in Eric. Will it = success ??? No clue, but you got to believe they are using his models. Best I recall Eric was a founding member of PFF and worked there for 4 or 5 years, then did consulting around 2022, and tepper gave him a huge bag and what ever job title he wanted. Personally I have never cared for PFF, its just like another forum members opinion. I do not follow the NFL like a hardcore fan and my opinion of PFF has changed some. If I don't have any clue on a player, using the PFF report is a ok start.
  17. No one knows who the jags or jets are going to pick. Each have been link to about 10 different players and need each one of them.
  18. Ive heard teams cherry pick certain insider mocks. Josh Norris in 2021 got 16 picks right, anything over 8 is near impossible. https://underdognetwork.com/football/other/josh-norris-final-2021-nfl-mock-draft Huddle report shows the last five years- https://www.thehuddlereport.com/mock-draft-scores Bunch of guys you never heard of are on top, check out the top big board too. Some guessers are able to get 85 out of 100 on the reg. Brandt and Dan should look into this, its free and somewhat insightful.
  19. Pure luck pays off, recently Ive had poor recall... If mahomes didn't land with Reid or another offense guru, those Bills players would be the better choice. I think something has been framed out, just depends on how those first 7 picks go. Saints could trade up and wreck the plan, but they are trading up for sanders/dart so LOLOLOLOLOL.
  20. You need to remind chatgpt that Pitt doesn't have its 2nd round from the DK trade.
  21. That's just our current hand, its unfortunate. No easy solution and damned if you, damned if you don't. Signing each is less wrong... Just wait until BY is up for a contract..... horn and icky will be nothing and each is super nerve wrecking...
