Im always a sucker for tossing a late round pick at CB, one of the higher hit rates once its the 5-7 rounds. captain and Norman are proof from the terrible drafting panthers...

Both the starting OGs were injuried, both were listed to be ready for OTAs and TC. Now will be backups it seems. I bet the Panthers OL has to be the highest paid in the league now, too bad the can not say the same for talent side...

Panthers lose no matter if they signed him to 30per or trade him for a 2nd+5th. It should have never gotten here- either traded him for that rams haul or you must resign him two years ago with what have been a 20per million bargain today. But its the Panthers and for the past few years they have made bad decisions yearly.

I think the hope is edge @ 33rd and WR @ 39.

It is hard to judge, but my main deal is there more or less talent on the roster now with the cuts and signings? To me its clear as day less talent, no matter if they were on a 2 win team. That's the goal to improve overall team talent, thus far its one-sided in the wrong direction. You could even debate hunt at 21 is not 2.5x better than healthy corbett at 8. Corbett ran with rams wide zone and did great. I think burns and ygm got too much, still to borrow a baseball term WAR. That has to make panthers drop their WAR. The plan thus far is go 0-17 and get the 1st pick.
