  1. Hamstring that are partial torn off the bone???? He's done for season.
  2. He has played a little better, but I still firmly want to trade him for about any dam thing ala AR-15, Levis, or 3rd rounder. I'd even take tiny towel injured Achilles Watson if da browns pay for the remaining contract and toss in picks. Same type of deal for Daniel Jones. About dam near anyone in any shape with any baggage. I hope colts trade AR for him.
  3. I seen him help a old lady cross mint street and then help her use a trashcan...
  4. One of my rules is to not judge the rookie class until the start of their 2nd season week 1. But early returns are looking great even with nothing from brooks. The UDFAs haul of Coker, Richardardson, and even raym is MUCH welcomed injection of talent. There's still a couple others hanging around in - Plum and Johnson's. these wavier claims are rookies too- Bratholomew, Kingston. With the Dalton, and whole STs being FAs for the coming 2025, this team could be one of the youngest given the draft picks. Crumedy is back with brooks this week, good to give them exp in this 2-7 season. So all that added and if you make me break a rule, Morgan did great especially with UDFAs and wavier claims. FYI the 7th rounder Michael Barret that was traded for Michael Jackson, Seahawks cut him weeks ago and he landed on brown PS. Morgan got more value, props to him.
  5. @CRA @ForJimmy My issue is why didn't the panther just offer the miles Sanders deal to huddard? I know why, they viewed miles as the better player.. Why did they use a lower 2nd on RB with the 20 other holes while they had huddard and sanders and blacksen? I know they had brooks as the higher ranked player. Just very odd it came to this, another take that's similar to mine- > Pay Miles Sanders 25 mill > Bench him for chuba hubbard > Hubbard is the only good player on your team > Draft RB w/ torn acl in the 2nd RD on a team w/ 0 good players > ACL RB never plays > Pay Hubbard 33 million They have not evolved. And like the process above, they are still confused. Im about 70/30 against this. I just didn't want to pay RBs until they are truly elite, Hubbard is upper good. That 30% is due to hubbard getting better each year and playing hard while the team is sucking ass at 1-12. Many of the players praised his work ethic and such. He is one of around 7 players that act like pros with the record being sub .200 Dan has a good draft class in the making(needs 2 more like them with UFDA success), but he's still thinking like a 90s GM.
  6. Again I doubt that was the best offer, but IF it was, I just keep him and hope maybe for a 3rd/4th comp pick since Panthers don't have the cap space anyway. FYI the whole ST unit are FAs in 2025.
  7. Don't hold me to this, but I think Levi's was the 33rd pick and panthers originally had like the 39th pick(used on mingo). So they would have to moved up to 33rd and the cost could have been just a 4th+_____(sense it was the first pick that round). I think titans traded up from like 35 to draft Levi's as well, but I have not checked my statements. Plus brother my once rock solid NFL mind is not working so well, forgive me if Im wrong about some of those numbers and such.
  8. You are right, no chance the Panthers with the worst record and least talent can sit idle during FA period. Still better than what the ravens gave up.......
  9. for the comp questions- https://overthecap.com/compensatory-picks there's a guy who has a great record and somewhat understands the unknown formula.
  10. The trade package to get either would have been far less than BY one. If you look at most early QBs picked in the top eight or so, the bust rate feels like its around 85%, which you should never trade up for QB if that's the case. I mean burrow, stroud, and maybe Daniels are about the only hits in what 8 years? 10x the amount of busts and its grows each year.
  11. Yes. *But if he signed for like 3 years 66 million and the Panthers signed some player at a similar contract, its a wash. It also depends on snap counts and if the player makes all-pro/pro bowl/ etc. Like you said its complicated. FYI the best teams at gaining comp picks is the ravens. Lastly if you wait until June 1st to sign players, those don't count against the comp formula. There is one guy that has a 95% success rate at predicting the comp picks, he's at over-the-cap and money in the bank about comp pick for the last few years. That was my other beef with this trade, even the chance at a 3rd or 5th comp is much better than the crap pile Morgan got.
  12. comp picks brother. normally around 7-12 in the fifth best I recall
  13. The kicker is its a ravens 5th, so it should in the 160 range. For panthers 6th, that should be in 170 range....... so 10-20 spots in late 5th round, where the darts are being used to draft. just a donkey move by dan morgan, whom must be on the ravens payroll...
  14. I think Mcvay fumbled that more than I first thought. Something happened in the SB and it broken the relationship. I sided with Mccvay at the time, but that's looking wrong in the last 2 years. That trade allowed the lions to become elite, cause much like the Panthers paying to play against players, rams were paying the lions 1st rounders for them to take a elite QB in Goff......its honestly not talked about enough, its a huge story.
  15. The whole league needs to stop playing rookies their first years. It's ruining career before they had a chance.
  16. 40,000 yards, 250 TDs, and 88 career rating...... those are HOF numbers...
  17. Im still on this as well- CMC- 5 win season BB- 5 win season DJ Moore- 5 season Beast mode OL and depth- 1 win thus far cursed I tell you....
  18. me too, same for levis. I'd even offer late picks......
  19. 100% Id rather told Johnson to stay home for the remaining season and gamble for whatever comp I could get besides this one sided ravens trade. It happened with Meshawn before. All those reports "MuPtILeD TeAMs InTeRTeStEd", such horse poo.
  20. I don't know, Fua was one of the worse picks in Panthers history.
  21. I know we are talking late round picks, but this trade is one of the worst I can recall. Panthers- move up 10-15 *late round spots AND pay 3million+ Ravens- "upset" top end #2 WR Johnson It honestly made more sense to cut him, about any other offer would have been better. Even Johnson for 2028 7th, at least then you got the tiny 4milllion in cap space. Panthers are PAYING teams to play Vonn Bell, Dionte Johnson, Bradey Bozeman, and Hayden Hurst!!! Just insane. 0% chance that was the best offer. All I got is Dan Morgan is now employed by the Baltimore Ravens.
  22. The only way that trade makes sense is Dan Morgan is employed by the ravens.
