  1. Stroud had 3 turnovers last game and they still won against a tough Bengals team. That's typically a sign of a solid roster. Stroud is no doubt making them better because he is playing out of his mind, but the point of the article is to also compliment the staff for putting this team together so quickly. Ours made our roster worse than when Rhule was here...
  2. It's a clear as day their roster/staff was much more equipped to plug in a rookie QB than ours was/is. To top if off we drafted one that requires us to completely chance our scheme which makes it even less ideal.
  3. Shenault is unreliable and sloppy, but he is very good at YAC. His injury is hurting us to a degree as well.
  4. Joe Brady might have been a better OC that we thought. We got worse on offense when he was fired and have never really been better....
  5. I think so. When his job is on the line he doesn't have time for that poo...
  6. Man it’s been a tough yeah so far for you…
  7. Whoever is playing the Saints, Falcons, Bucs, or Broncos.
  8. Andy Reid created a spread offense to help Mahomes. They ran a similar offense for Kyler Murray as he did in college. We even did it to a degree with Cam. This is nothing new. You typically cater an offense to your first round QB and yes helping a young QB get “comfy” is part of the process.
  9. That’s takes away the whole point. I’m just saying it’s a way to create a change without our young QB having to learn a whole new offense again…
  10. He ran a Pro Offense? It’s literally been ran before when he was in the NFL…
  11. Also, yes this is rock bottom. Last place in the league with no first round pick. It's unheard of how bad that is. Someone has to be accountable and it's probably Fitt...
  12. Unfortunately she isn't wrong. Do you want Young to have to learn a whole new offense in year 2 which is hard on a rookie, keep running Reich's dated offense, or run the offense he already knows from Alabama? O'Brien would make for an easy transition, familiarity, and he is a decent OC. Just don't let him have roster control. The question is would Reich let O'Brien handle the offense without stepping in at all?
  13. Sanders sounds like a Reich guy since he played for the Eagles. I think Staley hyped him up this offseason which has shown to be inaccurate.
  14. I agree but some people think they might ship him for picks due to salary cap issues. IMO they would be better off trading Deebo now that they have CMC, but who knows. https://www.nbcsportsbayarea.com/nfl/san-francisco-49ers/espn-predicts-brandon-aiyuk-trade/1668555/?amp=1
  15. I want us to either trade for Aiyuk or sign Hollywood Brown this offseason. If we can sign Hollywood we should also draft a weapon early. Hollywood, AT, Tez (or another rookie), plus 2nd year Mingo is s solid group for Young to work with. Mingo can become our slot when AT is done.
  16. I see people claiming they are better than what we have (which is the worst in the league). Greatest show on Earth sounds like someone trying over exaggerate a point being made to dismiss it. We have the worst weapons in the league and our OL is in a scheme that’s ruining it. Anyone with eyes can see this. Regardless Stroud should have been the top pick and he is absolutely crushing it in Houston. Both things can be true.
  17. I was surprised to hear we were inquiring about Young, Sweat, Higgins, and Adams before the trade deadline. I thought Fitt would be cut off by now.
  18. Yeah with Lovie Smith they struggled. They clearly have some talent and Ryans is looking to be a legit HC which several people on here saw coming just not this quickly.
  19. There is some middle ground here. The Houston offense in functioning way better than ours. They have speed at WR a solid TE and an OL that is blocking better that ours. Watching Houston’s offense vs ours is a huge difference. Their OC is doing a great job and Stroud is taking them to the next level. Both things can be true. Stroud is elevating them and they are a much more competent unit than ours. We are trying to force our power running OL into a dancing bears, finesse zone blocking unit, playing a rookie WR who is probably a slot at this level on the outside because our only decent player on offense is a 32 year old WR who had to move to slot because he lost a step. Seriously who on our offense would you absolutely want to retain for our future?
  20. We can admit we missed on Stroud but still be open minded about Young. Stroud is taking the league by storm and we are a complete mess. Hopefully we can get a competent offense going so we can give Young a fair chance before moving on from him. We are officially at the bottom now with the Cards winning so no where to go but up… Well after the Cowboys game which could be very ugly.
