  1. Damn I wanted Bell to play. We need him back. Robinson didn’t play too bad in his limited snaps last week.
  2. Everyone is now saying the same thing but trying to word it like they were correct. Brown did sit down and make out playbook WITH Reich and used Reich's offense as a base for his new offense. The Panthers site shared an interview where this is stated so it's not some coach speak PR BS nonsense that people on here love to cry about. It's literally what the team/staff is saying and it sounds like the truth. This is an offense designed by Reich AND Brown featuring a playbook designed by Brown AND Reich that is described as 60% Reich and 40% Brown. It's mostly shotgun because our QB is Bryce Young. There is no PR stunt, no lying/deceiving the public, just people on his misinterpreting EXACTLY what the team is saying. Jesus people everything about this 1-6 team isn't some conspiracy with ole Reich as the mastermind behind it.
  3. They are making some career decisions. I’ve see DBs run away from that man and I don’t blame them.
  4. He has 2 solid WRs too in Johnson and Pickens
  5. Yes there was no deceit or PR whatever you call it. Brown creating this offense with Reich is exactly what Carolina is putting out. The article I posted is from the team site stating exactly that. So this offense is a Reich AND Brown offense with plenty of input from both people. What did the site say 60 Reich 40 Brown? You were saying it was a complete Reich offense because of shotgun. The shotgun formations are for our 5’10” QB who played nearly strictly out of shotgun in college. I’m with you in liking the coordinators better than the HC. I low key want Brown to crush it as our OC and take the HC job with Reich taking some organizational job similar to Arians in Tampa when Brady wanted a different coach.
  6. So it’s not a 100% Reich offense and Brown wasn’t lying when he says he helped create it. Got it. This conversation/debate should be over then. Also Brown calling plays got Young hit 10 times. He might get hurt no matter who is calling plays behind this OL.
  7. Yes you are right. The issue I have is people claiming Brown is lying for a PR stunt when he states he helped create the offense. The OC helped the offensive minded HC create an offense catered to their new QB. It’s logical and makes perfect sense. I don’t think Brown is lying his way through his interview on how he helped create this offense. I mean the offense has not been great so why pretend like you helped create it if you didn’t?
  8. What percentage was Young in the shotgun in college? Both Brown and Reich have claimed they created this offense for Young. It’s not unusual to create an offense for your first round QB which appears to be what they are trying to do. If just the shotgun formation is the main reason behind your theory, I feel like Young debunks that pretty easily?
  9. That’s kind of how I read it. He sat down with Reich to design this offense and our playbook. He talked in depth about it during his interview. These fan theories will never stop though. Reich wanted Stroud, Tepper forced Young on them, they faked Young’s injury to bench him, now the juiciest one yet…. Brown is lying about helping create this offense. I mean he is the offensive coordinator after all.
  10. So what’s the PR bullshit of Thomas Brown saying he helped create this offense? It’s such a pointless hill to die on. Yeah they overhyped their team which yeah like you stated most teams PR will do, but lying about who designed what plays just seems odd. Like who cares? Whoever designed this offense didn’t do a good job so far. This is just the Young ankle injury fan created theory all over again. I understand your heels are dug in and you are going to stick with what you are saying but I just don’t understand the point I guess.
  11. That and Rhule was definitely full of poo 90% of the time which is one of the many reasons he isn’t in the NFL anymore. A coach that only made it 2.5 years in the NFL before getting fired is a bad example of the standard IMO.
  12. I think it’s just boredom from this season. People are just trying to find something to debate no matter how odd it is, but yeah it’s odd.
  13. He didn’t build it on his on. They both claim to have built it together. There are absolutely parts of Reich’s offense in it. I just don’t think Brown is lying saying he had a big part in creating it. Remember Reich was calling plays the first 6 games so he probably leaned on the ones he liked/created. We only saw one game of Brown calling plays. I’m not wasting pages arguing with you about what was stated and what is true or not. Im just saying if he spent an entire interview explaining how he helped created this offense and playbook with Reich I doubt he is just making poo up. It’s such a pointless lie to elaborate that much on.
  14. Some people love a good conspiracy theory. I mean Brown was breaking down how they both developed this whole offense and playbook and how he took part of what he learned from McVay. I doubt there is zero truth in that whole interview. I think some people are just bored and arguing nonsense for shits and giggles.
  15. Von Bell was back at practice as well.
  16. I’m not sold on Bozeman in this blocking scheme either.
  17. That’s why you don’t do a full 180 in one offseason. You build a scheme around the players you have and play to their strengths. Forcing these players to play in his scheme wasn’t the best decision by Reich IMO. The OL for example wasn’t and isn’t ready for the zone blocking scheme they are wanting to run.
  18. https://www.panthers.com/news/how-thomas-brown-and-frank-reich-blended-offensive-philosophies Looks like Brown definitely had some input. To what degree is anyone’s guess.
  19. I've felt that way these past couple years, but this season he has ran some sloppy/wrong routes and given up on some plays. That's not a good recipe for developing a young QB.
  20. WTF? The Niners got him for a mid round pick? It will be a late mid round pick too….
  21. Yeah exactly. Cam cost us the top overall pick, but was well worth it.
