  1. Miller would play SG which he can do very well with his ball handling skills.
  2. Yep and Melo just extended with us. Miller is a much better fit and equal talent.
  3. Williams would make a great tone setter for our young team (especially on defense). He could be our Draymond Green at a smaller level. I’d prefer to sign Williams for less over PJ and use that money for depth. We also need to trade Rozier and let Ball and Miller handle the guard spots.
  4. Maybe the hair style makes him look bigger?
  5. He used to play at some of the local bars at West Georgia back when I was getting my undergrad degree from there (he graduated from there). It was right before he started blowing up, but it was cool to see him up close at some of those smaller venues.
  6. Join the hype!! No I think we will be better than expected. I am not expecting miracles with a new staff and rookie QB, but the hope is that we will be competitive and trending in the right direction as the year progresses.
  7. That's fair. Caldwell, Capers, Tabor, and Campen are all proven though. I think Evero and Brown ae future head coaches, but you are right they are still very young and haven't all worked together yet.
  8. Plus he actually has full control to coach as he sees fit. Something the Colts owner would never let him have.
  9. I just think he is a great fit for a rookie QB with a solid OL. Our staff is what is so great honestly. It will be hard to find a better staff from top to bottom in the league IMO.
  10. Maybe Miles and Rozier plus some. Would Miller and PG be too similar of players though?
  11. It’s like @WOW!!said. Scoot’s marketing team has him hyped up for years now. He actually didn’t progress as much this year as people projected but no one seems to care. He is a highlight reel which is what most of his fans see, but a 3 and D 6’9” shooter who has handles is a much more rare thing to come by. We already have a taller Scoot in Melo.
  12. We have a PG, SF/SG, and C with nice potential. Hayward and Rozier are solid vets to have if we resign Miles (not a fan) that’s another big man. Not a great roster, but could be fun in with the right staff to develop them.
  13. I don’t hate it. Something new is better than recycling bad coaches. We should hire Doc Rivers or Bud IMO, but I would be happy with a new face.
  14. I'm just enjoying how far they will take this because their guy didn't get drafted. I've heard people call the police and DA crooked in order to help Miller not get in trouble. Meanwhile his two teammates (also Alabama players) got arrested immediately and are refused bail....
  15. He was their DD that night. He was planning on picking them up regardless. He didn't want to wait in line to go to a club as he wasn't drinking so we went to get some food on the strip while he waited. That's the story given to the police and it seems to check out. They have his dashboard cam footage and everything needed to counter this story and see him innocent.
  16. So his attorney is releasing a false statement that was also given to the police who have called him a "cooperative witness?" So the police are in on it, the DA is in on it and his attorney is turning in a false document to the legal system?? That's a lot of hurdles to jump through to try to keep that narrative going....
  17. Miller's attorney, Jim Standridge, released a statement in which he pushed back on the idea that Miller was directly involved in the shooting. Standridge claimed that Miles asked Miller to drive him to the strip earlier in the evening, and Miles left his gun in the back seat of Miller's vehicle. Miller never saw the gun or handled it, per Standridge's statement, as it was concealed under some clothing. Miller was unaware that there was any argument, and he was already on his way to pick up Miles before a message was sent regarding the gun, per Standridge's statement. "Brandon never touched the gun, was not involved in its exchange to Mr. Davis in any way, and never knew that illegal activity involving the gun would occur," the statement said in part. The statement also noted that Miller had "fully cooperated" with the investigation and "submitted to multiple interviews."
  18. It belonged to him and was accidentally left in Miller’s car. You want this 19 year old to ask 20 questions before returning a teammate his legal property? I really encourage people to read the facts on this case. He stated he was already in route to pick up Miles and Davis before he got the text about the gun and didn’t even realize it was left back there. Poor choice of teammates to hang out with 100%. Should have paid more attention as to what was entering and leaving his car 100%. It was poor judgment but he is still a free man because he legally did nothing wrong.
  19. They picked the guy who was cleared.
  20. Who starts beside Melo at SG if we trade Rozier? Maybe the vet we trade for? Hayward might also be traded now that we have Miller to start at SF. If not he could be a nice 6th man playing out his last year of that dumb contract.
  21. Definitely loads of potential. I hope we get a new coach to develop them.
  22. Are we pulling draft grades now? Spoiler alert, they aren't going to align with many people on here. I've seen mostly As and Bs...
  23. The DA oversaw it as well. Are they all corrupt and protecting Miller or are you just trying to make it fit your current narrative?
