  1. I think he had one less sack than Jalon playing in a position that is much harder to get them. He also has previous seasons with some production as well. No one at UGA is getting a large number of sacks.
  2. I feel like in this draft trading down won't result in the same return as it typically does. We need players no doubt, but unless it's a decent deal (which doesn't seem likely) I'm not sure we do it.
  3. (Huddle recap) Overpaid for FAs and all top 100 prospects will be gone by 8.
  4. Personally if I’m making a top 10 pick on a player, I’m spending as much time around him as allowed. I get what you are saying though.
  5. I feel like he is the obvious choice, assuming Graham is gone. BPA at a huge position of need. I’ve thought this before all the press conferences.
  6. We also stated we are open to trading down so yeah any prospect they ask about will get hype as they good. Just last week there was a report we loved Mykel Williams. Again Morgan missed out on Walker's most recent workout as well.
  7. Especially towards the top. You just connect team needs with players who are projected to be available. If that teams shows interest like they should it just adds fuel to the fire.
  8. Typically, but honestly it's just an educated guess. We desperately need defense and in most mocks he is the top rated defender available (especially if he is an edge). As @mrcompletely11 has posted, Dan Morgan wasn't even at his workout. We aren't telegraphing anything yet this year (like we did last year), because I just think we are going BPA or trade down and in most mocks Walker is BPA. If Graham falls to our pick it will get interesting...
  9. I've read some "reports" Warren might be going to the Jets at 7. If we are stuck at 8, I've love Graham or Walker assuming one makes it to 8.
  10. Same. Trade down and take him late in the first, but again I'd take Starks 10/10 times vs Nick.
  11. Starks is a FS all day. Coverage is his specialty from single high to nickel man. Nick is high potential due to physical traits but give me the film guy all day.
  12. Which is odd because Starks has the better film IMO. We just love some gamecocks.
  13. Steelers have a strong OL and two big WRs in Pickens and DK. If a QB is plug and play that’s the offense/roster you want. Plus a great defense. Not the horror show we put on the field in 2023…
  14. I'd say his ceiling is pretty high. When I think of low ceiling, I think of limited traits which I don't see with him. With that said I don't want to draft a project at 8. If we trade down and get a decent return I'm good with drafting him later.
  15. I was thinking a trade down option (providing a team would actually trade up). You can probably get a decent slot WR to learn the ropes behind AT in rounds 2/3. That's kind of what we need anyway. XL as our X, Coker as our Z, and AT/rookie as the slot. Coker could move to slot and rookie could take over Z as well. DC and his OC both have WR coach backgrounds. I'm hoping they know what they are doing as far as looking for and developing WRs. Coker looked impressive as an undrafted rookie with limited reps.
  16. Yeah XL, old AT, and Coker isn't a great WR room. Even if XL takes the next step in development, AT is probably done after this year. TE seems to be banking on developing some of their young talent in Sanders and Tremble as well.
  17. I agree with most of this. My attitude has always been if being a fan of anything ( which is just a hobby) is bringing me nothing but frustration and thinking everything is doom and gloom then I’ll stop being involved in that fandom. Life is too short and time is too valuable to be an active following fan for a team I have zero confidence in. We finished the year much more competitively than we started with a first year HC who seemed to turn around our young QB to some degree. I’m not sure that I’m hopeful, but definitely curious to see what this year brings. Constantly posting online about how terrible a team is always seemed like a waste of time to me, but everyone has their own opinion about that.
  18. What if I told you it was Miracle Whip?
  19. That’s exactly why you don’t draft strictly on position in each round. We panicked and drafted an edge because we needed one and there was a run on them and looked how it turned out…
  20. Just go BPA. If it happens to be a RB later in the draft the sure go for it. We need talent and shouldn't back ourself in any corner stating we have to draft a certain position at a certain spot.
