  1. I’m more than ok with Young and won’t write him off “my draft board” for saying he can’t control where he goes.
  2. I’ve seen the Bengals run a couple with Burrow. It’s usually a handoff unless it’s WIDE open.
  3. What about the QBs that don't play in their bowl games? Not trolling, just wondering where the line is.
  4. Yeah lets just call it 4.8/4.9 and move on. Not very good. Don't use Stroud in RPOs very often....
  5. I'm sure he is just doing what his agent recommends. I'm not terribly concerned about his 40 time, but to each their own.
  6. Risk vs reward. It’s a slight risk for no reward. I am confident Reich won’t hold not running a 40 against him. That’s just my opinion on it.
  7. For something that is pointless... Everyone knows he isn't fast so it won't help his status at all. Spoiler alert he also isn't going to bench press...
  8. Fluke injuries happen all the time. I think CMC got several of his from noncontact runs/cuts. No one really cares what CJ Stroud's straight line 40 yard speed is. There is game tape of him evading pressure and rolling away while throwing off the run. That is all that really matters for his style of QB. He will step into the pocket or roll away from pressure. He isn't going to break off and take it 40 yards for a TD. No team should draft him (or Young for that matter) wanting to run him frequently. Think Burrow/Goff as McCown has referenced in his game tape.
  9. I imagine his 40 time is nothing special. Wouldn’t want some fluke injury happening when most know he is a pocket passer anyway.
  10. Fair point. I guess if you can keep the QB on edge it doesn’t matter how good the WR is. I stand corrected.
  11. Very odd, because it’s more that just Stroud there. OSU has several great players in this draft.
  12. Unless TD is also doing a smokescreen. He is smokescreening the smokescreen….
  13. Fields and Stroud are two completely different QBs. Stroud is like Mr Fundamentals who has said he learned the position by watching Brees play. Fields is an elite athlete who can run over/around defenders while throwing a nice deep ball.
