  1. Apparently the man got benched. Like I said I haven’t followed him too closely this year. Last year he put up some decent numbers. A lot can change in a year…
  2. Those top 5 guys have way better weapons too.
  3. If we can do that and put pressure on Caleb then there is a big chance we win.
  4. It’s definitely winnable. Our defense just needs to dig deep because I’m not sure our offense can score as much as they have against the previous 2 defenses. We need Wallace to play well.
  5. I understand that and the Bengals averaged 89.3 yards per game until they played us and put up 141. We just don’t have the players to stop the run. I’m not saying the Bears will win but they are going to run the ball against us. I’m not as worried about Caleb. They are going to rely on their defense which is good and running the ball against our banged up defense.
  6. They are just going to run the ball. It’s what all teams are doing against us which is why the passing yards look like that. We are missing DB, Tuttle, Jewell, and Shaq. That’s over half of our front 7.
  7. Smith’s arm isn’t elite but it’s good. He can get it in tight windows and air it out down the field. I haven’t followed him this year but his stats look down which could mean we snag him later in the draft.
  8. I’m not sure Allar declares unless he is projected to be a top pick. I’m leaning towards a bridge QB with a mid to late round project one like maybe Donovan Smith (yeah he is starting off rough this year).
  9. 2nd would be great, 3rd might be more accurate. Whoever trades for him will need to pay him still if they want him more than half a season. AT is probably a 4th/5th at this point.
  10. Our OL is doing a good job at keeping him upright. I will say his arm looks fine, but it’s only been 2 games. Hopefully he can keep it up for the next 13 games
  11. Manning looked good but he had some turnovers against lesser competition. Quinn has kept him at bay for over a year now.
  12. Anyone know if 240 to 26 is currently operational? I know 40 to 26 isn’t. We are trying to head south and I don’t fully trust Google Maps saying this is the best route…
  13. The Panthers haven’t existed for 25 years. How much did you take???
  14. No one is trading a 1st for him. We can take the offer or let him walk for free this offseason.
  15. If the Chiefs give us the best offer then I’m for trading with them. I could care less how much better it makes them. This isn’t our window right now anyway.
  16. It’s how you properly rebuild. Acquire assets for expiring contracts then turn those assets into young players to build your roster with. AT will probably return a 4th or so but he has not many years left, hopefully we can get a 2nd for DJ. Keep developing XL, Mingo, JT, Brooks (when healthy), Wallace, and let’s see what Coker can do. If half of these guys start looking the part it’s a good start plus our 2 extra picks in the draft.
  17. Yeah that’s what I’m saying. Johnson was good at Pittsburgh too with shitty QB play. He is a high end WR2 IMO and if a contract reflects that then I’m ok with it. I’d prefer sending him to the highest bidder if the price is good (2nd rounder would be nice!).
  18. In their defense Johnson is a much more talented WR than Robbie was… Robbie was a one trick pony. Johnson is good at the whole route tree. However I do understand the point you are making. Any WR that looks halfway decent we want to throw money at.
  19. He has been, but I'd like to see it against some decent CBs.
  20. Yeah and Burns wasn't worth 30 million a year but some dumb team paid him it. These contracts get larger and larger each yeah and if he thinks he is a WR1 (which he does) he will want his money. If we can sign him for $20 million or less, I'd be all for it. I just don't see him agreeing to that...
