  1. Having a troll account block me would be wonderful!
  2. He is a great person. Unfortunately there is just a handful of people that make great NFL Head Coaches and he isn’t one.
  3. As long as you realize how dumb your logic is I’m good. I’m fairly confident you do…
  4. You said he was better than Reich because he had a better record last year. It’s your dumb logic. Last year Bill B was 8-9 vs Wilks 6-6.
  5. I prefer Stroud. I don’t trust Young to stay healthy.
  6. You said last year Wilks had a better record than Reich and said it’s a what have you five lately league. Judging by that Wilks has a better record than Bill B. Just showing how flawed that logic is.
  7. He didn’t coach all year. We went over this if you want to use last year and no other data, Wilks has a better record than Bill B. It shows you how flawed that line of thinking is.
  8. Bill B, Andy Reid immediately come to mind. Dungy and Gruden both won the Super Bowl when they went to different franchises. Sounds like a bunch of nonsense to me. Someone is just mad their guy didn't get hired.
  9. Yeah we want him to draft and develop our new QB. I am sure he wants to opportunity to do the same after his Colts history.
  10. He clarified it. He was telling the players to ignore the media narrative that they are tanking and inspired them to play through all of the changes. It's nothing really and had nothing to do with Reich getting the job. Tepper wants a QB more than anything and Reich is more equipped to find and develop one since he was a QB, OC, and HC successfully. People also keep leaving out the fact Wilks had no other interviews to be HC. The league knows his style of play is dated and no one aside from us was interested in him being a HC.
  11. Oh yeah a small sample size. Bill Belichick had a worse record than Wilks as well then. I guess Wilks is better than Belichick by your logic?? Makes you kind of question it, right?
  12. People google and find articles they want to see. The Raiders interim coach got them into the playoffs last year and wasn't offered the job and no one really cared. This won't be much different. Wish Wilks the best and I would love for him to get a front office job in Carolina because he seems to really love the franchise and the fans love him. At this point it's time to move on to Reich's staff and then the draft.
  13. How did Reich have a worse record as a HC vs Wilks? Wilks is a good bit below 500 I believe....
  14. Brissett would be a perfect bridge QB/vet. He has worked with Reich in Indy as well and is more than capable for the job.
  15. We need to get this man a front office job. Such as class act and represents our team and Charlotte very well.
  16. They wanted to see his plan for the offense/QB going forward. He earned his interviews they just liked the plan from a former QB, OC, and HC in regards to QB and offense development which makes sense. Tepper brought in Eric Reid when he was being blackballed. He had no problem with Reid peacefully protesting before games. He brought in Wilks to help Rhule and take over when Rhule failed. He wanted to hire both WIlks and Reich because he knew he needed an offensive guy as that’s the way the league is trending. There are plenty of cases where racism screws over the more qualified candidate, I just don’t think this is one of them.
  17. We very well might start 0-2 as it will be a new staff, HC, QB, and system. The difference is we KNOW Reich has a very realistic plan of finding sustained success and can lead a team at this level. The odds of him working out seem a lot higher than an unknown.
  18. Reich won a Super Bowl as the OC with Foles as his QB. He had Wentz up for the MVP before he got hurt. The Colts situation was a tough one in which he still won more than he lost. His ceiling is still pretty high IMO.
  19. If Reich and his record is mediocre what does that make WIlks? Our strategy is clear now. Reich is the guy Tepper wants to pick a staff (which he is good at just look at the Eagles current staff and another became HC in Chicago), and equally as important pick and possibly develop our future QB. Once we have our QB if Reich can’t get us there we will find someone else who can.
  20. Steve Wilks is an average HC. You say “good” but I think some of us are still comparing him to Rhule who is awful. Wilks was a breath of fresh air and looked phenomenal compared to Rhule, but Rhule shouldn’t be in the NFL at all. We had an easy schedule in one of the historically worst divisions and he did manage to go 6-6. Our roster is actually decent and several analysts picked us to win our division before the season started (probably giving too much faith in Baker). So WIlks basically had us playing to the level we should have been all year. The Bengals game and last Bucs game really tell the story. The Bengals simply ran it down our throats with no issue and Brady realized we were leaving our 3rd/4th CB on an island with Evans which resulted in THERE TDs on the exact same play. Oh and the playoffs were on the line….. I’ll give him credit for the Lions and Seahawks, but those other 2 I mentioned were just embarrassing. That’s what you get with an average coach though…
  21. I’d rather gamble on great than be content with average. You keep gambling on great until you finally get it right.
