Come on now there is nothing against Wilks. He coached his style and did the best he could. We just went a different direction.
-
It’s because Reich knows QBs and he knows that means his boy Darnold has no long term future with us now.
-
He wanted to pull for his father-in-law you twat…
-
I would do that trade. I’m thinking 9, 39, and Burns might be close assuming the Bears are high on Burns.
-
On a side note I keep reading about Reich being really into his faith (he was preaching before coaching) and I’ve seen similar things said about Stroud. I think Reich and Stroud can have a nice bromance if it works out that way.

Tell them to enjoy Saturday every Sunday.
-
I mean aside from this last season where his OL was in shambles with an old statue QB behind it, he had the Colts playing very well considering the whole Luck situation. That can set back franchises for years in most cases. I’m also high on Stroud.
-
I was afraid of that. He is just mad the person he wanted didn’t get the job. Makes sense… Reich wasn’t my top choice but he is a very logical choice and I can’t argue with that.
-
Sounds like a broad generalized comment. Were there any examples of mismatches he completely missed as the Colts HC or the Eagles OC (especially when they won the Super Bowl)? I’m actually curious.

Colts Free Agency the Panthers/Reich may want to pursue
ForJimmy replied to trueblade's topic in Carolina Panthers
Who knows? He is a young double digit sack pass rusher who just made the All Pro team. He could even be packaged in the trade as the Bears could certainly use him. -
That's a power beard if I have ever seen one....

Hmm how would everyone feel about signing Ngakoue and flipping Burns for some picks to acquire a QB. Ngakoue would probably cost less money and be a solid replacement for Burns. Use the picks to move up and draft Stroud. Just thinking out loud.... -
Do you trust Reich to find us (and develop) a franchise QB?
ForJimmy replied to t96's topic in Carolina Panthers
Reich signed a 4 year deal and Fitt and company have been talking about drafting one for a minute. I would bet we draft one this year. I'm kind of intrigued to see what Reich can do with a Richardson or Levis, it probably depends on who his OC is. -

Yeah I wouldn't want to trade more than next year's 1st and a 2nd/3rd this year. 3 firsts is just too much for an unproven QB.... -

Was he bringing in the retreads in Indy? I don’t think he had any roster control. -
Yeah the HC that groomed and developed the Eagles young HC and OC is so dated in his ways.
-
He is like two 30 year olds in one body. It's a BOGO!!
-
As long as you aren't Derp we are good. As @mrcompletely11said let us get a solid QB for him to develop and we will be good.
-
I mean Nick Sirianni and Shane Steichen were both part of his staff at one time. That sounds promising right?
-
I mean he is the HC who the Eagles HC and OC learned under. I believe the Eagles HC said Reich was one of the best coaches he has ever been around. I can't be mad at this....

Coaching Interview Thread IV: A New Hope
ForJimmy replied to Ricky Spanish's topic in Carolina Panthers
Now do Super Bowl winning coaches and you will see a trend with McVay being the outlier. Moral of the story is you can skew data to make it match your narrative all day long for example starting at 2018. -

Please no Rodgers... He looks like a shell of himself and has one foot out the door already. Also sometimes the right coach can mold a young QB into a franchise QB.
