  1. Teddy was on par with us as he has been on every other team he has played for. Decent QB rating, decent yards, hell he got Robbie over 1000 and DJ (which he usually gets). Most yards he has ever had, 2nd most TDs, highest completion %, 2nd highest yards per attempt, and 3rd highest rating at 92.1. So you have post post injury Baker and Sam playing bad with this core. Baker looked decent his first game on that last drive with LAR, but he has already come back down to Earth against GB. Keep trying to make excuses why Darnold isn't a good starting QB. It's just comical at this point. So you are low on Fields who has waaaaaay less weapons and less of on OL, but high on Darnold. Seems logical....
  2. Yeah it’s probably the entire offense’s fault and not the fact that Sam has struggled everywhere he has been. Good point……
  3. You think all 32 teams passed on Corral because of some off field issues? Like no GM/Scouts interviewed him, looked into these rumors etc?? Then Fitt and Rhule were so much smarter than these other 31 teams they waited until the mid 3rd to trade for this steal of a pick?? Corral is a nice project QB with upside, but damn some of you guys are making him into some unsung hero. The FACTS are he is a previous coach’s 3rd round pick who was on IR all season and never got many reps when he was healthy. At this point he is a bonus if he does well in TC which is nice to have.
  4. He had injury issues at Ole Miss as well. He needs to put on some weight and not try to play through tackles like he did in college. He played like he was Josh Allen some games. Disagree with that last take. Corral was drafted in the 3rd. This draft will have 5 plus QBs get drafted before his pick.
  5. Corral was able to make “quick decisions” because Ole Miss ran a RPO. It was a very simplistic one read system. That’s his big question mark (aside from staying healthy). Can he go through progressions and read a NFL defense?
  6. Tua was a top 5 pick. It was Tua 5 Herbert 6.
  7. Yeah the NFC kind of blows this year. It’s why we are 5-9 and still in the playoff hunt…. Maybe teams like the Saints, Panthers, Falcons, Commanders, Giants, and probably the Seahawks need to draft a QB early in the next year or so. Bucs will need to also when Brady retires.
  8. Lol right? Our entire offensive strategy has been “don’t let Sam lose the game for us,” and we have people on here bragging about his rating…. I think Hubbard got him like a quarter of his total yards on a simple quick pass.
  9. How good is he at reading defenses and making adjustments? Kalil was great at this and it can be a young QB's best friend. Football IQ is definitely an underrated trait for a NFL center.
  10. No worries. It's hard to pick up tone and other things on a message board.
  11. Yeah I wasn’t arguing. Just adding information to the post.
  12. Yeah they are trending up we are hanging around our 5 win Rhule special....
  13. I would imagine we will get outcoached. Their OC is pretty good and ours is McAdoo.....
  14. If you build a team that is constantly in the playoffs your odds are greater at winning it all. You can make tweaks and adjustments as needed. Look at the Rams, McVay was constantly in the playoffs with Goff then he traded for Stafford plus signed Von Miller to get his ring.
  15. I think people get way too caught up on who won the Super Bowl and how to imitate that. We need a staff that can develop a QB since we don't have one and get the most out of our players to get our team to be a constant playoff threat. Once we are there we can tweak the roster/assistants as needed to make a deep playoff run. Step 1 is making the playoffs, 2 is making them consistently (which usually requires a franchise QB), 3 is making a Super Bowl run. It's though to go from constantly picking in the top 10 to Super Bowl run in the blink of an eye.
  16. Also (just playing Devil's Advocate) how does it look is AR is playing on OSU's roster and vice versa??
  17. I think it takes several 1st round picks to move up though… Stroud is the safer pick, but if he busts you are screwed from the investment. Basically at least 3 1st rounders if you include this year’s.
  18. Stay at 8 and get AR. 1. We don't lose any future picks 2. AR has the highest upside in this draft 3. Stroud is a good passer, but still a bit of a project. If we are going the project route it's go big or go home for me. 4. Seeing how terrible Florida played with AR against a PAC12 defense helped prove just how bad that team was around AR. He is the only thing that made them look halfway decent...
  19. Moton had a knee injury that was limiting him in like week 2. I think what people are saying is if a player (especially OL) gets a serious injury in the season, they really never get back to 100% that season. Look at DJax battling that hamstring and then he goes to IR. We all know Herbert is still injured even though he is fully cleared to play. Rodgers has several as well.
  20. Yeah if we can't resign Boze, we better draft a center early. If we are in fact drafting a QB, a decent center will go a long way in his development.
  21. No I was just asking. It seems like you want Wilks and I know you like Corral. The whole "unfortunately" remark made me think you still want Wilks.
