  1. I'm sorry but there isn't some huge talent game between the Panthers and the Steelers (this year). They could use the excuse all day of not having the personnel, but that doesn't mean you don't attempt to spread out that defense to open up the running game. Make some sort of adjustment. I mean has he tried sending Higgins out there since his WRs were struggling to get open in McAdoo's boring system? It fits way more into the mindset is cut form the same cloth as Rivera, Fox, etc... He likes to run the ball and lean on his defense (which is his specialty). It's a conservative boring style of play in which WRs, and QBs will struggle to develop.
  2. Even if he is staying why wouldn't he make any adjustments? I mean he still wants to win games right?
  3. Yep. A decent QB AND a decent OC can make a world of difference.
  4. How can we fairly judge these weapons when we have with McAdoo designing and calling the plays? TMJ was a stud on that loaded LSU team, Moore passed 1000 yards every year with poo for QBs and OCs. A new staff can do wonders for some of these young guys. Hell we don’t even use Higgins who was and decent option in the Browns offense.
  5. I definitely see what you are saying but our rookie is more than likely going to struggling his rookie year anyway. Especially if we draft AR or Levis. The offense will need to be simplified if they are even going to play year one at all. Lawrence, Jones, Fields, and Burrow didn’t have many weapons their rookie year. Hell some of those guys (not named Burrow) still have few weapons. We are going to also have more draft picks (especially after that CMC trade) to acquire some weapons.Normally bad teams are getting these top picks.

  7. So first we needed a good OL before considering drafting a QB. Now we need an arsenal of weapons for him first? Why are people so worried about us drafting one? It has to be done. We have to find a QB then build around him. If we start building too good of a roster first we could be stuck in Colts land. A good OC can scheme some of our guys open. We do need to draft a TE early, but we are far from the worst place for a rookie QB to play providing we land a good coach.
  8. He said he wanted Brady before he was drafted. Easiest way to tell he is full of poo…
  9. Why??? Why were they running the lateral plays when they were tied??
  10. I can’t believe we have actual posters on this board that are wanting to roll into next year with Darnold and Wilks…
  11. Sam played good for Sam. Unfortunately Sam’s good is very pedestrian for your average starting QB. Our offense was just bad…
  12. He watched it through his Sam Darnold Fan Club glasses. Our red zone offense sucked and Sam was slow processing, but that’s just normal for him. DJ made a great catch on his TD.
  13. That’s a good approach. Some like finding your QB then building around him and his strengths. There are several ways to do it, but we have been passing on drafting a QB for too long. I have nothing against Levis, probably prefer AR, but both have some elite traits and need a good bit of coaching/development. Most QBs struggle their rookie year anyway, so year 2/3 is when you load up IMO.
  14. Our OL is decent (yeah they had a bad game today, but overall young and solid). If we draft a TE with one of our 2nd round picks and extend Bozeman we aren’t too far off IMO. Do we need an elite WR? Sure, but we can make do with DJ, TMJ, a cheap vet, and a committee behind them. Let our new HC and QB get their feet wet and then load up around the QB the following offseason when our cap is cleared up. It’s a decent path forward IMO.
  15. I think we are saying different things but possibly agreeing. I think our current staff is terrible. However, if we get the right group of coaches I don’t think we are a terrible landing spot for a rookie QB.
  16. Just shows how much of a difference a new HC can make. Hopefully we will get one of those this offseason.
  17. It’s too premature. Just depends on how our staff looks next year. I think we are bringing in a new HC, but even if we keep Wilks, McAdoo is gone.
  18. It’s painfully obvious we need a new OC as well. On a side note, is Higgins hurt or something? He is nothing special, but is a vet WR who was shown he can get open…
  19. Yeah we can beat bad teams that can’t stop the run, and that’s about it. We need a new QB and OC without a doubt.
  20. He is around 55% (right around Josh Allen’s college stats) with poo around him. The bowl game shines a light on how bad the team was AR was playing on. The fact that Florida only puts up 3 points against a PAC 12 defense shows how much he carried that offense as bland as it was. Now if they actually centered the offense around his strengths it could have been a decent year for their offense. I think it absolutely helps his draft stock.
  21. Lol he wants to draft a QB better than Cam former MVP
