Yes, Florida had less talent on offense than Ole Miss and a much worse coach. They were trotting LA Lafayette transfers as their top options. Does LA Lafayette have more talent than Ole Miss? -

What about Eagles OC or Jim Harbaugh? -

With Rivera or Rhule yeah I agree. That's why we need a coach that puts a priority on the offense if we are looking at drafting a QB. It's why Wilks isn't the guy IMO. -

What about the Josh Allen that lost to San Jose St, Fresno St, Boise St, and Iowa (where they only scored 3 points)? Would you have been ok with him? -

If we have the right HC I will be very intrigued with AR. Wilks would be an example of a HC to NOT draft AR with. We would need some weapons as well. Diggs did wonders for Allen's development. -
I feel like QB pressure rate would make more sense. I've seen Richardson, Nix, Young, and several of the quicker QBs avoid the sack and extend the play with their legs and to me that has nothing to do with the OL.

He probably won't perform well right away unless we use a simplified offense and become a power running team kind of like the Eagles did/are doing for Hurts early on. I think the thought is there is a big talent game from his the talent around him in Florida (this year) and his opponents in the SEC. So (in theory) s the talent gap shouldn't be as big in the NFL. -

Nah man, Darnold is taking us to the Super Bowl and getting an extension remember??? -
Correct answer! Close the thread.

I will say that our OL started off pretty bad this year during Baker's first couple games. Week 1 Garrett crushed Icky (and rightfully so, as it was his first start and Garrett is an All-Pro). Darnold also has a full game with our OL at its peak. When you are looking at the 5 most recent games it probably evens up a little more that I realized. You are right thought it's cherry picking to skew the data only using only the last 5.

Kind of a classy move by Wilks/Fitts if you ask me. Baker wasn’t getting anymore snaps and requested a release, so they gave it to him.
-
Definitely prevents it from becoming a 4th round pick. Sounds good to me!

I think drafting AR would depend on if we hire the right coach. Eagles OC, or Harbaugh would increase the odds of him developing. Definitely pass on him if we keep Wilks. The Eagles OC has Hurts throwing 68% with 20 TDs and 3 INTS from 52% 6 and 4 just 2 seasons ago. Harbaugh of course had Colin K playing at a much better level.

Catcrave 4 QBs if panthers drop out of top 10

That’s a bold move considering his injury history… -

He isn’t going to give up what he has in Michigan. Full control. That’s something we should never give a HC right away or possibly ever. He is a hell of a coach though. The players getting upset with him is overblown and probably Niners ownership trying to save face after firing a great HC. -

He would probably be communicating more with Fitts. Who I actually think would work well with him. Fitts seems pretty laid back and that’s what you need with Jim Harbaugh. -
I need to look into McCall more. Duggan has a ton of heart, but I’m afraid he just isn’t NFL starter material physically. His throws were off that last game so he had to run and I don’t see his frame running through NFL defenders. The KSU defenders banged him up.

Yep and it was “leaked” the players were tired of him. Tired of winning? Hell if any players were upset it was the ones wanting to collect a paycheck without putting in the work. -
Mahomes just dunked a TD…

Steichen, Minshew, and Richardson.

Well that went better than I thought…
