  1. If that was the case all of these 1st round pass rushers would be in this list though? I get it, I would have done the trade, but it is a premium position. Just look at the average salary for an elite one.
  2. That just means that many of these early round pass rushers aren’t living up to expectations though? Maybe it’s a high bust potential position which would make it hard to find a replacement.
  3. Take away draft picks! They will take a fine if in helps them win (which in this case it did not).
  4. That’s what I was thinking. I year of meh play at the position means he should probably get better. Several years of it means maybe that’s the best he can do…
  5. Yeah you need an average at least defense as well. Plus low turnover percentage.
  6. I like how he said both Mannings have to be outliers because Brady is. Yeah a 1st round QB winning it all is equally rare as 6th rounder winning 7??
  7. https://lastwordonsports.com/nfl/2022/12/07/carolina-panthers-anthony-richardson-2023-mock-draft/ Another good read. Even mentions pairing him with the Eagles OC. Goes through his highs (and lows) in college.
  8. Yeah I agree. Signing (not trading) for a solid vet while also drafting your QB is a solid plan moving forward.
  9. Levis with the right HC/OC and our good young OL could be interesting.
  10. Yeah but they have no draft picks and a shitty old QB destroying their cap these next few years.
  11. I agree, but he could drop in this draft like Fields did (especially if UGA crushes them right after Michigan did).
  12. I would say he is Teddy with an actual deep ball (which is Teddy's biggest weakness). However he probably isn't nearly as cerebral/quick at reading defenses as Teddy is yet.
  13. I like him and think he has a great arm. Looks good dropping the ball in through different layers of defenses. He hasn't had much adversity to overcome and has the greatest WR in college football on his team. He has been all over the place from different analysts and scouts though. I've seem some rate him as the top guy and others say he needs to stay another year. It will be interesting to see where they all land.
  14. I agree, but if we think he is the guy we want in the first I'm not sure you want to trade back and risk someone else gambling on him. If we feel is is only slightly better than a few other options like Levis then I understand trading back. Also if GA manhandles OSU like I think they will, Stroud may fall to us...
  15. Yeah I think it’s more saying he might be the 3rd QB off the board and possibly a top 10 pick. If we have the right staff and stay in this range for the draft that very well could be our pick.
  16. https://sports.yahoo.com/2023-nfl-mock-draft-2-121102936.html Another mock linking us to AR....
  17. But he was MCADOO’s number 1 choice out of last year’s QBs?!?!?!
