  1. I would say he is Teddy with an actual deep ball (which is Teddy's biggest weakness). However he probably isn't nearly as cerebral/quick at reading defenses as Teddy is yet.
  2. I like him and think he has a great arm. Looks good dropping the ball in through different layers of defenses. He hasn't had much adversity to overcome and has the greatest WR in college football on his team. He has been all over the place from different analysts and scouts though. I've seem some rate him as the top guy and others say he needs to stay another year. It will be interesting to see where they all land.
  3. I agree, but if we think he is the guy we want in the first I'm not sure you want to trade back and risk someone else gambling on him. If we feel is is only slightly better than a few other options like Levis then I understand trading back. Also if GA manhandles OSU like I think they will, Stroud may fall to us...
  4. Yeah I think it’s more saying he might be the 3rd QB off the board and possibly a top 10 pick. If we have the right staff and stay in this range for the draft that very well could be our pick.
  5. https://sports.yahoo.com/2023-nfl-mock-draft-2-121102936.html Another mock linking us to AR....
  6. But he was MCADOO’s number 1 choice out of last year’s QBs?!?!?!
  7. Looks like just a Baker Fanboy to me? Do they have any evidence it is him or are they just mocking this dude for being obsessed.
  8. No it was you overblowing the trade and acting like it was some major draft trade to acquire this talented QB. If he is so great he doesn’t need you constantly being his cheerleader on here giving every excuse why he looked back. Let’s just sit back and let the young man prove himself.
  9. Let’s be honest here. We moved up in the 3RD ROUND to draft him. Many of those trades go unnoticed after the first 2 rounds. The team that traded up for him (in the 3rd round) also has a terrible track record for evaluating QBs. He was passed over nearly 100 times (93) before even Carolina traded up for him. Then we proceeded to sign Baker after the fact…
  10. It was working, you all just couldn’t see it…
  11. Bronze Mahomes was just born. Give us 21 years and we can draft him!
  12. He didn’t “underachieve,” we failed to give him a decent OL, weapons outside of Olsen, or a good OC. He won MVP and took us to the Super Bowl with Remmers at RT in which our staff failed to make any adjustments while Von Miller had he way with him, Cotchery, Ginn, and Corey Brown as his WRs and Shula as his OC…
  13. I think those 4 go in the first with maybe Levis or Richardson dropping to 2nd.
  14. Dude give up your troll. You are officially the new Sizzle/Chuck/current troll…
  15. Both have high ceilings and seem like the leaders of their teams. With the right staff hopefully they can develop into something special if we draft one.
  16. I don’t have a problem with Levis. He is a good bit older than Richardson, not as fast, but he might be right there with him on arm strength. Levis has a cannon. I think Stroud, AR, and Levis will all need a good staff to further develop them. Young is probably the most pro ready, but he has less of a ceiling IMO and of course his size could be an issue.
