  1. Our QB excels in PA and struggles in the pocket. We have a good run blocking OL and elite RB. It makes sooo much sense to do this. I just don’t get it…
  2. Man the Lions OC has Goff’s offense as good if not better than McVay’s offense with Goff. It’s still early in the season, but if he keeps it up he has to be the top choice.
  3. He would get sweet and sour that sick bastard…
  4. I can’t remember if he played LG for us last year? I think he was our starting LT which is pretty terrible…
  5. He is a terrible LT, but can be serviceable at LG at times.
  6. He can and did prior to last year for the Ravens. Good call! Also if BC is a disaster at RT you can roll out BC at LG, Bozeman LG, and Icky at RT. I’d hate to shuffle them all up and move Icky from LT, but that could work in an emergency.
  7. He is saying if Moton’s knee injury is limiting him then perhaps we roll with Cam Erving in his place somewhere on the OL. It’s not the worst idea, he could even play LG and BC can swing out to RT if needed or we can try him at RT.
  8. I think Moton is playing hurt and DJ Moore has talent just needs a QB. The other two should be cut/traded IMO.
  9. That's just the nature of the business. There are plenty of inner circles where coaches replace others who are friends. You think Dan Morgan would turn down the GM job if we fired Fitt because they are friends? What would Morgan's career path be? I guess he would just have to wait for another franchise to offer him a promotion? Fitt will get a position on another team but there are only 32 NFL GM jobs available in the league and if he was offered one, especially with a team he played for, I doubt he would turn it down. It's what we should have down with Beane...
  10. The Steelers interviewed Morgan as a potential GM this offseason. He is starting to general some buzz, just worried we will relive the Beane thing again. Again I am not married to the idea though.
  11. Not crazy about Dorsey as he kind of inherited that offense and a top young QB to run it, but I mean there are definitely worse candidates.
  12. Who Beane? He credits Hurney for his success.... So we kept Hurney and the Bills took our well liked AGM. Hopefully we can learn from a little history. https://pantherswire.usatoday.com/2017/05/15/brandon-beane-credits-former-panthers-gm-marty-hurney-for-success/
  13. I think you have an AGM with some experience that is close to the organization who came from the Buffalo tree. Throw in the hard worker and obvious knowledge of the game and he is a pretty good candidate. I think we also have some PTSD from out last AGM that left (Beane). I'm not saying I'm die hard for Morgan, but I think he could be a good candidate.
  14. Beane hired him on as Director of Player Personnel in 2018 in Buffalo for 3 years before we signed him as an Assistant in 2021. If he learned anything from Beane about building a roster he is worth it, plus there is obvious Panthers familiarity.
  15. Fire Fitt and promote Morgan to GM. Look at the Eagles or Lions OC as our next HC and I will be happy. Harbaugh would be great, but I don't want any more of the full control bullshit so if that is a requirement then it's a hard pass for me.
  16. That's kind of why I lean towards a Will Levis as he plays well when his team is usually outmatched from a talent standpoint. Another name to keep your eye on is Cameron Ward (might be my current draft crush).
  17. Yeah definitely not paying for this poo show. If they hire a promising HC and draft a QB, I'll try to check out a game next year.
  18. I think he stays. It’s basically like grabbing another rookie QB in the 3rd this year to compete/backup the first rounder. Kind of like a RG3, Cousins scenario. He will at least hang around until final cuts to try to stash on the practice squad IMO.
  19. For those that like PFF, Icky looks to be getting better.
  20. Same. I thought a NFL OC paired with a NFL QB (Baker was never this bad), would equate to a nice jump with the possibility of sneaking into the playoffs. This offense might be worse that last year’s….
  21. https://247sports.com/college/washington-state/Article/Cameron-Ward-practiced-left-handed-throw-all-week-before-WSU-football-29-8-win-over-Cal-194576011/ The man practiced left handed and apparently made a perfect throw using his left hand. Pretty impressive...
  22. I thought it was better that it has been. I saw pre snap motion, PA (briefly), trying to get Moore, Higgins, and Trenble involved. Foreman had some carries as well. Our players just had trouble executing. In the first quarter Thomas and Tremble dropped a 3rd down pass and Higgins dropped a handoff. This ruins drives and never lets an offense get in rhythm. His short yardage play calling was pretty bad still…
