  1. No doubt. One can reroute your career as a QB. Warner did a nice video on how important your non throwing should is for balance in accuracy though. Throw this in with the fact he also injured his planting foot, it definitely affected his on field performance and he probably shouldn't have played through those injuries last year. It may have worked out in our favor though if he can get back to 2020 form.
  2. If we bring in Dunlap, Huddlers will be pissed he is taking away snaps from YGM and might help us win too many games but not enough to matter. If we don't bring in Dunlap Huddlers will be mad we have no depth at DE and are banking on YGM outside of Burns. -Which one will it be???
  3. Yeah... Let's move up in the draft to take a QB who never lived up to his hype in college. Looks great in hindsight, but who knows how Herbert would have faired behind our OL and coaching staff. This same guy hyped up Trask last year and Strong (undrafted) this year.
  4. With as deep of a class as 2023 is speculated to be, one should be there when we are drafting. Remember if we are letting Baker walk he didn't perform to a top level which means we will be middle of the pack or higher drafting.
  5. There are definitely good points here. I do have one question. Which Cleveland Brown system is "the most QB friendly system there is?" The one with Hugh Jackson (his first coach, Freddie Kitchen (his second), or the current coach who he had for one healthy season (2020) and put up great numbers? He had 3 different coaches in the span of 3 healthy years with a 4th year where he got banged up week 2. I still find him middle tier with still some potential. 2 good years (rookie and 2020 season) and 2 bad years (Kitchens and injuries in 2021). I know a lot of QBs can make similar excuses, but the big thing (for me at least) is he has flashed potential (rookie season on the previous worst team in the league) and shown he can play at a high level (2020 season). If we can't find success with him, Rhule and Baker should be off the team next year.
  6. I'm sure it's the exact same contract. He just needed to sign before camp. It looks like Willis just recently signed with the Titans as well. Kind of weird they are all waiting until the last minute...
  7. DT is definitely a weak unit for us. I'm glad we are continuing to look to improve this roster.
  8. If Baker isn’t the answer and Corral is still a question mark, we should absolutely draft one IMO. We would have a very cheap QB room against the cap also.
  9. The cost was right for the acquisition. If we gave up a future 5th and only paid $5 million for Sam without extending him, I would have been ok. Still should have drafted Fields though IMO.
  10. He needs to find a team that actually wants him before he worries about how much money he will make.
  11. It’s the offseason and the same topics are going to get repeated thus the same opinions will follow. Welcome to the Huddle.
  12. Because you make the decisions for him. His athletic ability/throwing power are pretty solid, he just can’t read a defense to save his life…
  13. Citing an opinion on a message forum?? GTFO! The nerve of some people…
  14. He definitely seems to be a nice person, just not a very good QB.
  15. PJ is out there showing them how to never lose…
  16. You have always been good with joysticks… PS DON’T YOU TALK ABOUT MY MOMMA!!!!
  17. I've found some people just enjoy being angry/dramatic. Even if your not confident in this team why piss on everyone's parade in the offseason. Let us fans have that at least right? The Baker trade is the best example. Such a cheap noncommitment and some people still flipped out over it.
  18. Yep. I'm really obsessed with a player on this roster. I'm constantly posting about him.....
  19. He gave us black helmets! What more do you want??

  21. Taylor was a 5th round rookie who played significant minutes. He definitely flashed some games (and looked bad during others), but he should be better this year and capable of covering the 3rd option if Henderson can't do it IMO. I really think (and hope) Henderson is going to look decent this year. You have to think we also have Wilks coaching this young talented group versus whoever it was last year.
