Lots of RPOs would be a nice system for Corral to develop into behind Baker.

Yep. I love how people are acting like Corral was a top 10 pick who is ready to go week one. If he can’t beat out Baker and Sam in training camp, then let him sit and learn. If we have the next great QB in Corral, sitting and waiting won’t hurt him (see Rodgers and Mahomes).

He has some nice traits like arm strength, quickness, and a very fast release. He also saw success in a tough conference usually outmatched against more deep teams. He also seems coachable. Dropped his INT % a lot from 2020 to 2021. Honestly he just needs to bulk up and see if he can learn to run a NFL offense. He checks a lot of boxes despite where he was drafted.

No way they don’t let Baker get his revenge. Or at least attempt to.

Man it’s hopeless against some of these people. I said we got an upgrade over Darnold for very cheap, even called Baker mid-tier and they couldn’t handle it. I got accused of loving Darnold, being a “sunshiner”, not following the team good enough. I honestly think they were set to be upset and even after we acquired him for so cheap, still wanted to bitch and moan. My favorite so far is someone getting pissed that if Baker outplays his 2020 season and gets us to the playoffs we will be screwed, while also saying he wasn’t much of an upgrade… Huddle gonna Huddle.

4.25 for Sam and 7.5 for Baker (who will be our starter). It’s an upgrade for cheap now get on with your life man. He may not be elite but should make us more competitive than Sam.

Our staff has had a much closer look at Corral than this raging huddle poster. If they think he isn’t going to be ready and needed another vet to start the season then it might be true…

lol you are beginning to look pathetic man. What I’m watching/reading seems to call us the winners of the trade and Cleveland the losers. It’s really not that big of a deal. You really do need to get laid, get some fresh air, go for a run and release some of this frustration you have. My God if we drafted a QB in the first you would have had a damn stroke. Then again you are the guy who suggested Tepper wants Rhule to tank with Darnold so he can fire him… Did you use your brain for that one??

You don’t get it. No one is saying Baker is going to be our savior. We are saying it was a good trade considering how little was given up to acquire a mid-level starting QB. Something we haven’t had in several years now… Strong was undrafted. Hopefully he can make the roster or practice squad.

Are there actual journalist who feel this way or is it just you and the poster who wanted to convince everyone Carson Strong is the next best QB outside of Trask?

We could have got him for a dollar and future 7th and he will still be pissed. If the franchise doesn’t go the EXACT way he wants we is going to bitch and moan about it. It’s a pretty miserable way to be. I’m just glad we got it done for so cheap.

I never supported Sam but if you want to make up complete poo to prove your point well that says a lot about your point. There are PLENTY of posts/comments to call me out on so there is no need to make up any. L -For the 5th time, I am not saying Baker will be our franchise QB. I am saying it was a super cheap deal for a clear upgrade and a player that has a chance (a small one) to put it all together. I will be happy with Baker this year and Corral taking over when he is ready.

You wanted recent QBs that went to different teams and went on the have successful careers. That's about a recent as it gets. I know you are upset but we will get through this. At worst we lost a future 4th and $5 million this year. It's going to be ok....

The Browns didn't try to trade Baker. You want recent? Russ WIlson, Matt Stafford both requested trades and got traded the past 2 years which is exactly what Baker did. I mean you wanted to them have a career AFTER being traded so it can't really be super recent because we would need enough time to pass.

He is a definite upgrade and even if he has a 5% chance you be our future QB then it's easily worth it for what we have given up.

I just am surprised at meltdowns over $5 million and a conditional 5th. These people are looking for a reason to rage....
