  1. I think we trade for Baker. It will cost less capital than trading back into the first with no 2nd/3rd round pick
  2. Hell yeah! We have some bookends now! We got your draft crush!
  3. Icky, BC/Brown, Bozeman, Corbett, Moton has a ton of potential!
  4. So one if the 3 LTs or Thib should be there at 6…
  5. Especially this year. This draft seems weaker in the top 10 and deeper in rounds 2/3, and look at us with a top 10 pick and no 2nd/3rd....
  6. I’m thinking Neal if he falls to us over health concerns. If the LTs are gone we trade back or draft Thib.
  7. That’s what I got out of it. It’s what every other owner does. He knows Sam will more than likely be on the roster and possibly the starter next year. Trashing him does nothing good. It also ruins any ounce of value/leverage (not that we have any) if some team is dumb enough to trade for him.
  8. A 4th sounds about right. We can package our 4ths to jump back into the 3rd. Gets rid of Robbie in case we trade for Baker and GB is in need of some speed at the WR position. Rodgers would keep him in check throughout the season. It makes a lot of sense really.
  9. They would need to trade down with another high pick only a couple spots down to recoup a second. If Neal falls for health reasons and we land him plus Howell, I’ll be happy!
  10. Yeah so he is a LT. Do you think Campen can have him playing LG well?
  11. Where do you think he fits? I think his best position is LT. He just might not be the same level as a Neal, Icky, or Cross. With LT being such an important position I think you still draft one if they are available.
  12. https://www.nj.com/jets/2021/04/nfl-rumors-the-49ers-were-serious-in-a-pursuit-to-trade-for-former-jets-qb-sam-darnold.html Rapoport confirms the interest/timing. Just not that they officially offered a first (yet they offered 3 to move up in the draft). I would imagine it was more of a swap firsts if I had to guess, but we will never know because it makes both teams look bad. The Niners for offering it and the Jets for turning it down. “I know that they were very serious about Darnold,” Rapoport said about the 49ers’ interest. “At the time, the Jets weren’t willing to deal him and really weren’t willing to consider offers until they did the full evaluation and saw everyone throw in person. The Jets really wanted to go through the process. It sounds to me like, at that point, probably around mid-March, the 49ers were just moving on.”
  13. He is never going to learn how to use the internet if you keep babying him!
  14. I need a link to show it's total bullshit please. Seriously man you sound like Sizzle...
  15. Go find it yourself if you are so eager for it. It was an article on how we acquired Sam. The Jets weren’t ready to give up on him when the Niners offered their package (it was a while before we did). Once they were sold on Wilson we were the only team left interested.
  16. That's the point. There are a lot of "ifs" in general for the season. That's why our plan shouldn't revolve around banking on a top 5 pick next season.
