  1. I didn’t like Herbert, Allen, or Mac. I’ve learned I don’t know poo about QBs.
  2. I like it! I just want a young talented QB in case Sam shits the bed again.
  3. He really won’t be as bad as people are saying. The man knows how to read a defense and carves up the middle of the field. He also has some legs on him. I’d prefer Willis or Howell for upside, but I’ll be ok with Pickett.
  4. Maybe he wants him?? Who knows? Hopefully we will find out tomorrow!
  5. Hmm I never really thought about it that way, but it makes sense.
  6. Seriously though I don’t mind Pickett. I think Willis and Howell have higher ceilings, but Pickett has the higher floor. Pickett is a good 1st round prospect IMO. He is kind of boring which isn’t a bad thing. I don’t think this class is as bad as everyone thinks.
  7. These two are my top choices (Howell can be through a trade down if possible).
  8. True, plus he is going to have a nice OL to run behind.
  9. You think so? I think the NFL is all about the QB now and they are getting over drafted.
  10. Trade the Bills CMC for their first. That gives them the receiving RB they wanted and gives CMC a chance to win it all while we rebuild.
  11. He was very raw coming out of college. His numbers were worse than Willis’s when he playing at Wyoming. I think him going at 7 shows sometimes the potential is worth the risk. Maybe he is the exception to the role, maybe Willis is to? It’s hard to tell…
  12. Makes too much sense right? Fans will be happy, Cam will be a great mentor. This would be the best case scenario to me.
  13. Ridder won’t make it past round 2 IMO. He seemed to always be solid in college, but never really wowed me…
  14. He isn’t wrong. Some coaches like Reid do because it’s their specialty, but Bill in NE had nothing to do with Mac Jones’s development. OCs and QB coaches get the most 1 on 1 time with the QB. Herbert’s development was more Pep Hamilton than his head coach. Most head coaches aren’t the ones developing players, especially QBs.
  15. If anyone knows how to use Chinn it’s the man with two chins.
  16. Agreed. It can’t be worse and he (hopefully) will listen to scouts, McAdoo etc…
  17. That’s such a big part of it. If you get a humble, high character person with great work ethic that is oozing talent/potential it seems like a high chance of working if the right players are around him (which we are kind of doing now). Roll out with Cam the first few games with a couple plays for Willis (thinking zone reads, short check downs to get him comfortable). Start working him into the offense more as he develops and we can run a power running offense with play action (imagine his arm on play action), lean on our defense and maybe win some games.
