One inch shorter than Lamar and 10 pounds heavier. Obviously larger than Murray. Willis has the strongest arm in this class. He looked bad against tougher competition because the talent around him at Liberty was lesser. He has a terrible OL against teams in Liberty’s conference. He has the arm talent to be great, but will need a lot of grooming at the next level like Josh Allen did. To me it all depends on where he is drafted (like most prospects). It’s funny last year people we thinking Howell/Rattler would he battling for the top spot and Willis would be a top pick as well. I think Willis, like Howell, was a little exposed by his teammates underperforming.

With a good coach he could be the steal of the draft. If we get him Rhule will rush him out and probably ruin him…

Yeah I think our realistic options are 1. Draft a QB 2. Sign a mid/low tier FA and load up the OL 3. Try Darnold with a better OL 3 might be the worst as a fan…

I would hope after drafting Horn in the top 10, trading for Henderson, Taylor showing some promise, Bouye playing well, and Pride getting healthy CB wouldn’t be a “need” for us at all. Maybe a cheap vet for depth/locker room…

Oh I think he is one of the best QBs who can elevate a team. Our roster has too many holes and I don’t want him saving Rhule’s job. We need a young QB to grow with our team and new coach next year. A stop gap like Mitch or Mariotta will work until we draft one next year.

He should go to Denver.

Exactly top 10 picks are for CBs, LBs, DTs, and RBs! Not for this QB nonsense… I mean last time we did that we got Cam Newton and that was such a disaster.

At least we wouldn’t have to give up anything for him. I think Mariotta is a FA too. If we don’t draft a QB they would be low cost (hopefully) options that shouldn’t set us back.

Trading for one that’s terrible under pressure is the Rhule Way.

You can’t hit if you never try draft one. Trading for busts and signing journeyman QBs isn’t the way to do it.

I mean it’s no coincidence that his first full healthy year he has them in the AFC championship from the worst team in the league 2 years ago. He still popped off around 350 yards and a clutch pass on the final seconds in a game where his OL poo the bed. He is the real deal.

Mahomes, Allen, and Jackson sounds like he is all for the high ceiling guys not necessarily high floor. If we draft one and he has his input Willis would fit that description the most out of this class. Not saying I’m for it or against it, but he fits the most the best.

So he liked Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes, I wonder how he feels about this class? I’m not too concerned about him as an OC, Rhule has too much roster control to even tell if he is going to be good or not. He wouldn’t active Brown (when he was healthy) and let his terrible vets play Guard/Center instead all year.
