  1. We drafted a 3rd rounder. I’m glad we didn’t get Leatherwood earlier. He looks awful in Oakland.
  2. The only Chinn we need is Jeremy!
  3. That Patriots game got more interesting…
  4. Honestly I have mixed feelings about this (age and price for contract), but a 6th for a one year rental (at worst) is fine by me. It also keeps Tampa from signing him. Also I had mixed feelings about the Darnold trade, so I might just sit back and see what happens…
  5. Watch him ball out, get tagged and flipped for a 2nd rounder next year.
  6. I don’t see Christensen as a LT. Maybe LG… I think Moton at LT (gotta protect Darnold’s blindside) Christensen at RT, and either try Erving at LG or give Brown a chance. Paradis is going to be the weakest link though…
  7. I’m surprised they couldn’t find a trade partner…
  8. The Jimmy Clausen look did trigger me a bit. I think I have some Fanhood PTSD from that year….
  9. This thread was fine and backed with data and started off stating “he has far exceeded my expectations.” He is a young QB and has areas to grow as all young QBs do. The die hard Darnold protectors are just as annoying as the Darnold haters. He has played great and should get better as the year progresses. He (like most players) has areas to improve. For example, Burns isn’t the best at run defense and Chinn struggles sometimes in coverage. These are things we as fans can discuss and analyze. Everyone relax we are 3-1!
  10. It’s the number change that makes him look bigger.
  11. How many passing TDs does Jackson have so far this year? Look if they are going to drop back and leave the lane open we would be stupid not to just run it in with Darnold. Why risk a tipped ball/INT if they are going to give us an easy TD. Take what the defense gives you. If they adjust then we will also. Running backs are traditionally suppose to run the ball, are we unimpressed when CMC catches a TD vs running one?
  12. That’s an old school way of thinking. NFL coaches are calling QB designed runs in today’s NFL. TDs are TDs. Now teams are going to have to account for Darnold in the redzone which should free up another player. If they don’t he will just keep running it in untouched. It’s what made Cam so great in our 2015 season, it’s what makes teams struggle with Murray, Jackson, and Allen. Even Dak took off running in crucial downs against us. Take what the defense gives you.
  13. Lol you got banned and made another profile to keep posting on this online message board? That’s kind of sad. No one obviously wants you here so just go away or keep getting banned. You really need some better hobbies man…. The injury and draft talk just shows what we all already knew. You aren’t a fan, but a troll. Probably a Falcons or Saints fan so upset out the state of their franchise that you come over here to troll instead of pull for your own team.
  14. The sad thing is, he isn’t even right. So Sam lost a game? It’s the NFL, it’s going to happen. He has us 3-1 with multiple 300 yard games and the most rushing TDs by any QB through the first 4 games.

Yeah apparently covering isn’t his specialty…

Overthrow by Herbert from a clean pocket. A few huddlers freak out when Darnold does that…

    Perryman has looked pretty good…
  18. Moton looks fine to me. Darnold likes to roll out behind him when he gets pressured. I know rolling to the right makes sense because he is right handed, but it’s also safer than rolling behind Erving.
  19. I wish that you would step back from that ledge my friend….
  20. Yeah our depth isn’t good yet…
  21. It’s just where we are currently at as a team. Dominating bad teams at home (Jets), beating bad teams on the road (Texans), beating good teams at home (Saints), but are going to struggle against solid teams on the road. Especially when momentum shifts and we have injuries. Hopefully we will get better as players come back and we get more experience.
  22. All seems more than fair. I’m sure part of it is his internal timer freaking out when he has the ball more than 2 seconds and this isn’t a bad thing (you don’t want him hanging out too long with the ball in his hand), but he has to learn how to handle that. He seems way more comfortable rolling out and throwing off the run. I wouldn’t mind seeing more QB roll outs designed in our offense (especially since out line sucks). Kind of make the defense guess where he is going to be and keeps his legs moving. Hopefully he will keep developing and process quicker as he spends more time with this offense. So far I’ve been pleasantly surprised by him.
