It’s a cautionary tale all around. Crying bust too early is equally as silly as claiming they are the answer too early. I’ve been for waiting and seeing how he turns out. Why are people bringing up the Dalton game? Are we going to ignore Howell getting absolutely outplayed by a vet backup today against the same defense with the same weapons? So it took Young 3 months to get up to speed the same as a 14 year veteran? These are rookies/2nd year (Howell) QBs, developing them is still a process.

It looked like chemistry and motivation. Young was fired up on the sidelines and that kind of every can be contagious.

Get some talent around him and a coach like BJ. Who knows what could happen?

Yeah @45catfanwas itching for a TE from last year’s class. He was right as it was a deep class.

I am for trading him if we can get a first minimum. Use that money on Brown and Luvu (maybe YGM on a cheap deal) and you get an extra pick. We just have a lot of holes and can’t afford to tie up that kind of money to one player on defense. If DJax can get us a 2nd or 3rd I’d move on from him too. We need to flip some players for picks so our new staff can build this team the way they want.

The take was not good. All QBs do what he was being mocked for. Plenty of other reasons to hate on him. I think the OP is a pretty combative poster so we he starts a bad thread he will get mocked regardless of who it’s about.

Thread recap. OP critiques Young’s throwing motion in a picture stating no QB should do this. OP gets shown many pictures of great QBs doing the same thing. OP resorts to mocking how Young talks while others mock people for being “Bryce Supporters.” Never change Huddle…

Just mocking a dumb take as nearly all QBs have thrown like that. I don’t see anyone praising Young, just mocking the OP.

I just like when we win but yeah touchdowns would make me feel a lot better. Especially if Mingo and Young are at least strong contributors to these scores as we need them to develop for next season. Man our bar is pretty low to just want a score against bottom tier defenses. If nothing else Chuba will probably get one. He would have have one last week if Tabor didn’t play for the FG (which I have no problem with).

I think the Falcons defense is solid. There just aren’t many elite defenses in general outside of Dallas and maybe the Eagles/Ravens but they all are kind of streaky. Plus the weather conditions and rivalry game kind of throws those statistical ratings out the window. It’s not like our offense crushed their defense anyway. We had 9 points. We just executed a solid GWD slowly and methodically down the field.
