  1. Yeah there was no risk in the trade because we traded a guy we were cutting. It didn’t work out but we lost nothing. Seems like a smart trade to me.
  2. That’s good for him, but he was getting cut because of his salary. He was getting cut regardless.
  3. We traded DJax for him. We were cutting DJax regardless. Still got a small amount of capital from the Ravens for him. Really not much of a lesson to learn. Took a flier on a WR who didn’t work out for next to nothing. You have to keep trying to find talent by all means possible.
  4. So can we all agree our staff made the right call on moving him for whatever they could get?
  5. The good OGs are getting paid now. Teams are moving around their top rushers and OGs are becoming as valuable as any other position in the OL. Maybe they are easier to find, but if you get a good one they get paid well.
  6. I think DC was wanting a X WR to play the Evans role in his offense and XL fit that role the best based on where we were drafting. Ladd would have been similar to AT or DJ (at the time). I don’t really agree with the process. Personally I’d take the best players and then build an offense for them (especially on a roster as weak as ours). I got nothing on Brooks other than DC wanting to run the ball, but there were much better ways of getting a RB2 than that…
  7. Cam was way more entertaining because of his personality. Allen is putting up better numbers but Buffalo has done a much better job building a team around him.
  8. And still miss the point payoffs. Sounds like Lincoln Riley…
  9. Honestly I think it’s better than we don’t compare the two. CJ Stroud was the gem of that draft class and the Texans got lucky. I just hope Young can develop into the QB we need him to be. I was ready to move on early in the year but something seems to have clicked with him which is promising. I hope he keeps it up and gets even better!
  10. I’m good with Hunter winning it. Him winning the best WR and best defensive player seems like a stretch to me though…

  12. He is trusting his pocket more and making plays from it. I’m not saying he will be the next franchise guy, but he is playing with confidence and isn’t afraid to step up in the pocket and attempt the big time throw we all were wanting him to do last year. Honestly it has me more optimistic about our HC than anything.
  13. So it’s a down year for passers AKA defenses are playing better against the pass with the 2 high. So Bryce is developing into a better passer in a year where defenses are playing better? I’m confused about the argument here?
  14. Umm ok but we are talking about recent play? I think Stroud is a great QB and if Young can get close to playing like him currently that’s a win IMO. Baby steps here.
  15. And Stroud is a 87.9. If he can get closer to Stroud it’s a win right? Look he is trending in the right direction. It’s encouraging. Hopefully he keeps it up and gets better.
  16. And he was cleared to keep playing…. That’s insane.
  17. I grew up liking UNC but switched to Auburn when I went there which I feel is fair. It was a very expensive way to switch teams…

  19. And Hurts was playing against our defense vs Young playing against the Eagles defense.
  20. Oh Maye has been great. I was being sarcastic and using that team stat people were using to judge another QB to show it’s flawed.
  21. Yeah but you get those same dumb passes with Beck back there. So passing is a wash with Stockton being able to run giving him the advantage.
