  1. That probably won’t be until next year. However it won’t change the rounds. There would only be 30 picks in round 1 for example and round 2 would still be the next day. This just happened with the Dolphins I believe.
  2. All teams spend money. They are required to spend a certain amount, so overpaying for mediocre talent doesn’t really help him. They are rolling with Kirk (who had under 800 yards and 3 TDs), Gabe Davis (under 800 and 7 TDs in a high powered Buffalo offense), and Zay Jones (300 yards and 2 TDs) in year 3 of his rookie year. Their TE is solid but outside of that there isn’t much to brag about…
  3. They traded for Ridley a year after he missed the entire year then just let him walk. They paid a lot for WRs, but who is their best one? Which WR from the Jags is Lawrence’s best target?
  4. Yeah Lawrence is legit. Jags aren't doing him any favors and he is still finding success. I mean who is his best WR this year? Kirk? They should be trading to reunite him with Higgins or inquiring about Aiyuk.
  5. Nagy about ruined him his rookie year then the poo show continued after he left. It sucks because if the Niners took Fields over Lance, he would have thrived there IMO.
  6. He was behind AR for like 3 snaps? Remember he was hurt right away. He definitely needed to sit for a while but that Jets OL was pretty shaky.
  7. A lot of it is situational IMO. Mac should be a lower end starter but the Pats screwed him, Fields could never reach his potential in Chicago, Jets weren’t a good place to develop a QB either. Lance is the only one who went to a solid franchise with a good foundation and still busted…
  8. I don’t think XL is just a deep threat. He is more of the physical YAC WR like Debo Samuel IMO. I’m not a fan of his at 33 as there should be better options.
  9. lol I don’t think this comment affects his draft status. If so, that team wasn’t very high on him to begin with…
  10. Yeah but if they liked him early in the 2nd maybe they make a move to jump us. There is nothing to lose saying this.
  11. Why? What’s the worst that could happen? Someone takes him in the first to stop us from getting him and he makes more money??
  12. I’m not saying we won’t, but it’s hard to announce or predict pick 33 before the actual draft…
  13. I provided video proof last offseason and was told it was simply a PR stunt. I mean I get having doubts, but some people are a little extreme…
  14. I know ISM posted some pictures of working out with Bryce and routing some routes for him. Is it normal for young QBs to post their offseason workouts? Are AR, Stroud, and Levis sharing videos or something? I’m not trying to be condescending as I really have no idea what the norm is.
  15. I get what you are saying and it makes sense. It’s weird though because people have been frustrated with Tepper for also firing Head Coaches too quickly. Would the same ego not try to force a bad coach that he helped hand pick that you claim is trying to force a QB that wasn’t really a reach my a lot of people at pick 1? It’s not like Tepper (if he was the one adamant about Young) out of no where and says draft this guy. He also couldn’t have been too die hard Young as they had a plan to move up to 2 and take Stroud until Houston backed out. I think Tepper was die hard QB and probably overplayed his hand. Personally I think Tepper wants to win at all cost and yes he oversteps and gets in his own way a lot. If he is being told by all these professionals that Bryce isn’t it, I really don’t think he will try to force him to be. The one quality I kind of like about Tepper is he knows when to cut his losses. Hell Reich, who he handpicked with Fitt, didn’t even finish a season because it was clear he wasn’t the guy. He flew out to offer Rhule his contract and fired him 2.5 years into a 7 year deal. From my perspective it looks like Morgan and company are clearly building enough to see what Bryce can do at this level. Signing those OGs, trading for DJ, and more than likely drafting some weapons should give Young an offense where we can at least see what he can do. I know many fans have written him off, and that’s understandable, but last year was just a complete cluster all around. I try to remove myself from being attached or completely against a player (especially a rookie) and am on the wait and see. If he looks the same or worse then we simply move on and let this staff find their guy. Part of me loves reading about QBs as draft prospects so this route could be entertaining as well.
  16. Not winning for Nico 2026 (Tennessee QB is getting some hype). Sucking for Sanders 2025. That QB at Florida looks legit, but he will be a true freshman this year. You should check him out if you haven’t yet. DJ Lagway.
  17. I’m high on Sanders too in next draft. I want to see how he does with better OL play.
  18. Rattler playing behind that terrible OL didn’t do him many favors I’m sure. Those inconsistencies while showing out against lesser secondaries is alarming though. Plus he wasn’t really good until his last year (5th year senior right?).
  19. Check out his he played against A&M and Tennessee. Then he goes off on UNC (bad secondary), Miss St (bad secondary), JVST, and Vandy..
  20. Well at least we are better equipped to develop a young WR. Don’t get me wrong XL has talent and I’ll cheer for him if he is the pick, I just have other prospects I like more. Especially at 33…
  21. It will be nice if he does, but if not we will just roll the dice again.
  22. My biggest concern about Legette is how be played against better competition. He seemed to put up great numbers against lower tier secondaries and was relatively quiet against better secondaries.
  23. The ones that can look good with a bad OL and weapons are truly rare. I’d love to have one. Cam made it work a few seasons but injuries and inconsistencies piled up. I think it can make some press too hard to create something out of nothing. Bryce was never going to be a flashy QB, but I think the hope is he will be able to create plays and make the right reads to become clutch like he was in college. Whether he can or will is yet to be seen. I’ve always thought his peak is a smaller Burrow. Just seems to know where to go with the ball each play and extends them with his legs to compensate for not having an elite arm.
  24. I tend to agree. Constant pressure leads to loss of fundamentals. Footwork gets sloppy, feet get nervous. It happens to all QBs when they are trying to make something out of nothing. Mahomes is the only one who can still pull it off pretty regularly with or without his fundamentals.
