The post Rodgers Packers beat a bad Chicago team and just lost to the same team we lost to. I’m not sold one way or the other on them yet.

Bama had a nice run with Hurts, Tua, Mac, then Young but the talent gap isn’t what it was for them with NIL money involved. I know what you are saying though incorporating young new QBs into an offense is tough. It’s what Carolina is currently struggling with in the NFL.

Who did you want? AR looked overwhelmed and outmatched again most teams he played, Stroud looked the same against teams like Northwestern. Check out how Alabama has looked without Young to give you an idea how much of an impact he had in that team.

That’s a fair point. Meyer probably did more damage to Lawrence’s development that offset any experience he gained.

Length of time as an owner isn’t really ever considered when people are talking about teams during a rebuild. It’s turning over a new roster while shedding off the old vet contracts.

And Lawrence wasn’t even a rookie for the Jags through that first half struggle.

I think/hope he is joking. That’s like saying the Cardinals won’t be rebuilding next year when they draft a new QB with the top pick because they’ve had the same owner for a while now.

It’s year one of a complete new system/staff/QB. Some people consider that a rebuild some don’t. Regardless it typically takes time for new systems and rookie QBs to get to firing on all cylinders. Our roster needs depth, but we have a decent roster looking at the starters with some young playmakers on defense. Next year we will add depth and fill a couple holes. I imagine/hope we are going to see a much better team as the season progresses and should be excited about our future towards the end of the schedule.

I’m pretty sure Stroud told the Texans to draft Tank Dell who is looking legit for a mid round rookie.

Love’s OL is legit as well. He has one of the cleanest pockets I’ve seen.

Hurt in knee in week 1 as well and couldn’t finish that game. They are going to need to limit his running if they want him to last.

Agreed. That was my concern about Wilks. On a side note, the Bears defense hasn’t been much better…

Wait did AR get hurt? I feel like he was constantly battling injuries at Florida as well…

I am a Fields fan and it’s not looking good for him. Terrible team to get drafted by, but he hadn’t done himself any favors in processing/development.

I don’t think anyone is doubting Sanders. Defense and depth looks to be their weakness against stronger teams. Hopefully Hunter can return at some point. On a side note the Cowboys have to be thinking about going all in on drafting Sanders right? How cool would that be?

He was highly recruited, but this would be a tough environment to play him in.

Darius Rush got waived by the Chiefs to get Chris Jones back on the roster. I know we have some Rush fans here and we need some CB help.
