It’s sad. It really is.

They can’t accept they were wrong. Reich said Bryce was the guy all along so has Fitt, but that ruins the meddling owner theory. We watched a DL land on Young’s ankle and our coach say once doctors clear him he will return as the starter. No that doesn’t match their theories either. The answer is literally right there in the coach interviews but people are going to spin it however they need to in order to appear right.

Frank said it’s an ankle injury and when he is cleared by the doctors he will be the starter again. I’m sorry that’s not clear to you.
-
What you are saying makes perfect sense. They just don’t want to hear it. They want an easy target to blame and Tepper is one. They haven’t had a winning season since he bought the team so he will be blamed. I can’t blame them for being frustrated with him, but these fan theories get a little wild.

Panthers lose another Defensive Starter (Xavier Woods)
ForJimmy replied to ncfan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Woods, Horn, Shaq, Luvu, and Burns is apparently banged up. That’s just the defense. 1st round pick, second round pick, and both OGs also hurt. Not good for a team with a depth issue… -

That’s just me guessing. Bozeman and Icky are struggling because the LG is. Zavala just isn’t ready yet. He missed a lot of TC and preseason. -

He played much better with BC at LG in week 1. Bozeman also struggled recently. I think it’s having a 4th round rookie starting beside them. -
Damn it that’s all I can see now.

But this is what we do now. We take a clip of Young without a boot, a pic of Reich smiling at Stroud, Nicole hugging Young and just run away with wild theories instead of listening to what is actually being said.

Oh no doubt Cross was the better pass protector. Icky was the higher ceiling rawer prospect. Cross was also drafted below Neal. https://www.si.com/.amp/nfl/2022/04/20/nfl-draft-final-big-board-top-262 Here is Neal, Icky, and Cross as a distant 3rd. They were skeptical of that air raid fast pace offense at Miss St. -
He stated once the doctors clear him he will start again. Cam playing through injuries worked out so well in his short career. Terrible example.

http://www.espn.com/nfl/draft/rankings/_/year/2022 Neal and Icky were the top 2. Cross was the 3rd ranked OT. -
Players usually come back when they are healthy. If Young is cleared he will play.

Did Surtain play in that 70 point blow out? I hope he wasn't the one trying to cover Hill. Cross struggled last year as well and has missed 2 out of the 3 games this year with an injury. Icky was also ranked higher than Cross by most people. I can't hate them for either of those picks. Horn's injuries are just bad luck and Icky was the higher ranked prospect. -
We do need to get the ball in Laviska's hand several times a game. He is our most explosive player.

Former UVA quarterback Bryce Perkins works out for Panthers
ForJimmy replied to Dorian Gray's topic in Carolina Panthers
I mentioned Dalton to the Jets yesterday. He is a big upgrade over Wilson and they could lean on that defense. We need picks to fill holes this offseason. -

Looks like he is predicted to get some Fantasy points for whatever that's worth. -
PFF grades after week 3 (not for the faint of heart)

The Jimmy thing is sarcasm. Hey I remember you though. You kept saying how important it was to be a multi-year starter in college and put up high numbers consistently like DTR (and Young but that doesn't count apparently). Then you immediately contradict yourself saying we should have drafted AR over Stroud/Young. You also insisted on us drafting Harrison Jr last year despite being constantly told he wasn't eligible. Back to the cave with your nonsense! -
Walking on a sprained ankle is a lot different than juking and running from some of the biggest fastest athletes on Earth. People can't grasp this. Corbet is currently walking, but guess what?? He isn't cleared to play a full contact sport yet.

Optimistic look at the current state of the team
ForJimmy replied to JawnyBlaze's topic in Carolina Panthers
What about getting rid of the NFL logo at midfield? Seriously though he swung for the fences with Rhule, but was pretty quick to realize it wasn't going to work. He then hired what he felt was the safest choice for HC (perhaps an overcorrection). Fitt is probably next on his list if we can't turn things around to get fired. -

@Bear Handsis a great poster. He is always nonbiased and logical in his responses. Brings good data and info to back it up as well. I always enjoy reading what he has to say. -

Yeah and if we are dropping a rookie QB (especially one on the smaller size) behind our OL we should probably play to that OL's strengths for a while until our QB gets comfortable. -

Yeah. They have proven they can be successful under certain schemes. You have to play to your players strengths. -
Average time to throw (Spoiler alert: Bryce is 2nd to last)
ForJimmy replied to LinvilleGorge's topic in Carolina Panthers
Stroud had a Goff floor IMO. I thought he was the safest prospect that could also become a Burrow (ceiling). I hope the S2 wasn't the main reason we passed on him. Young had some great film in college too so hopefully that's the reason.
