It’s been a long season already and after the bye it will get ugly. I’m in the camp of just letting the fans celebrate and go crazy after a win. They seem hard to come by these days…

He has rookies like XL, JT, Coker, Wallace, and Richardson playing well. If he can actually develop these players I’m good with him.

Saints players and slant boy go off on Carr
ForJimmy replied to WarPanthers89's topic in Carolina Panthers
And we have the same record as them. I guess it’s just as embarrassing to lose to the Saints now… -
Richardson is looking like a possible solid safety. 12 tackles today and a PD. He looked good last week too. He is an undrafted rookie as well.

I want victory pie!

Ward and Sanders are roughly the same size 6’2” and 215 plus. Ward might have 5-10 pounds on him but both are pretty standard QB sizes. It’s that Lamar, Rodgers, Mahomes range. Taller than Baker, Hurts, Tua but shorter than Burrow and Goff. Then you have Josh Allen who is tall and huge but that’s not common. If we aren’t going QB that edge from Penn St, Carter is enticing… just not sure if he is 1st overall pick material or not.

The Big12 is no better. Honestly you have the SEC and the Big10 outside of that the conferences are weak…

I don’t believe you can “ruin” the great ones. Burrow for example was abused his rookie year, even got injured. The great ones are able to get better still. Players like David Carr who were “ruined” by their teams were probably never going to be great regardless. Stroud wouldn’t have looked as good here as he does in Houston but he would look a good bit better than what we have IMO.

Sanders is the same height as Mahomes and only 9 pounds lighter. His weight and size are in line and he operates well from the pocket. He doesn’t have a cannon but his arm is solid. He looks to be the most NFL ready, but people were also saying that about Young so who knows….

Is he a true freshman?

He is flying under the radar. @MHS831 mentioned him a couple weeks ago. I’ve been paying attention sense.

Jonathan Jones: Good chance Clowney and Thielen are traded
ForJimmy replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Man our defense without Clowney is going to be something….. -
It’s clear by a sample size of one in Bryce? Lol not buying it. The only young QB he has worked with is Bryce for half a season while he is also trying to be a HC for the first time. Maybe Bryce is just not cut out to be a starting QB, especially one on a limited roster like ours.

They have to have a 5 star behind him…

Winston with all his sexual assault charges? I don’t know about him being a good person…
-
I want him playing center more to see if he can be our future there. I don’t think he will cost much to extend. Unfortunately he has to play LT Sunday with Mayes at C.
-
Sanders has had 4 TD games without his top 3 WRs? I’m a little lot skeptical…
-
It’s ok to like both. Ward playing great doesn’t make Sanders worse.
-
Yeah it makes it difficult to get a good read on Ward. He plays a lot of hero ball, but he has to. Kind of like Howell at UNC.

Honestly Allar’s situation reminds me of Herbert’s at Oregon. His college offense limits him and doesn’t truly show his abilities at the next level. He also isn’t working with that much looking at his weapons. He is definitely a player that could be a better pro than he was in college IMO.

Agree with most of this, but I think he actually has a pretty good OL at Miami or they just haven’t played many tough defense. He usually has time. I like that he has all the traits you want physically, can make every throw, can buy time with his legs, has started a lot of games for 3 different programs already, but most importantly he looks like a leader in his offense. He rallies his teammates and has had several large comebacks already. Players like that at premium positions are how you change culture IMO. He looks like he is doing just that at Miami.
