  1. People keep bringing up Young’s SEC competition. Aside from UGA (who Stroud played) which team had an elite defense that he played? LSU’s defense wasn’t what it normally was, Ole Miss was an offensive team, Auburn was a shell of itself? I know several BIG10 schools were ranked on the top 10 defenses when Stroud played them. Stroud WRs are a much better arguing point than his competition.
  2. Maybe the playing style? Bryce extends plays and takes a lot of hits doing it. Brees was more of a pocket passer who got the ball out fast. Honestly Brees’s style is more like Stroud IMO.
  3. Foreman signed a 1 year $3 million deal after several days of FA. The league sets its values on players. Our OL helped him look great. Sanders is a 3 down back who also has good hands. He is like a Saquan-lite with less injuries.
  4. Hyatt or Downs at 39 with Tillman or Boutte later in the draft and we should have a nice young core. TMJ, Chark, Shenault, Hyatt/Downs, Tillman/Boutte should be some nice weapons to go with Hurst and Sanders behind a solid OL.
  5. I wouldn't hate it if it was. I think he has the highest ceiling and Stroud has the highest floor. While I'd prefer Stroud at one, I wouldn't hate AR there if our staff is as good as advertised....
  6. Yeah he was great the year before. If we can grab him with one of our 4s, I'd do it in a heartbeat.
  7. It's starting to form a decent looking roster. We just need to address our WR group and some depth?
  8. You sure about Hopkins? I don't see it anywhere?
  9. Kayshon Boutte in the middle rounds also has some potential. Plus I like his last name. Another LSU guy for Marshall to play with.
  10. @LinvilleGorge was mentioning Cedric Tillman the other day as a mid round sleeper. He is 6'3" and was UT's WR1 before being injured most of last year. He could be a steal later in the draft with some WR1 potential.
  11. Is there anything showing we are even interested in him? I feel like the Huddle just started naming him because he is a big name who is available via trade....
  12. I’m a little curious to see if he gets better under Reich and Brown.
  13. That’s kind of how I feel. Stroud is their safe pick, but they will still see if AR can convince them he is worth the gamble. I say this only because of the timing in relation to the combine.
  14. Sanders has decent hands too for a RB. Not ideal like you said, but a serviceable offense.
  15. After giving up a league-high 40 sacks and posting the 56th-best pass block win rate as an offensive tackle (84.5%) from 2019 to 2021, Taylor gave up only six sacks and finished 37th in pass block win rate among offensive tackles (88.8%) this past season. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/35851858/sources-jaguars-ot-jawaan-taylor-chiefs-80m-deal?platform=amp Looks like he had a decent season, but struggled before that. Regardless he made Brown expendable…
  16. Well yeah I’d prefer Foreman, but Hubbard is cheap and already on the roster.
