Yep. The Raiders interim got them in the playoffs last year during the Gruden poo show. They didn’t hire him and gave McDaniels (who struggled his first time as HC) another chance. No one in the media cared.

He should have rolled over safety help on at least one of the Evans TDs instead of leaving him on an island with his 3rd/4th CB. However he inherited a mess and did a hell of a job cleaning it up. If he was an offensive guy/qb guru I would hope he would have the job. It probably didn’t help that Reich had a list of staff ready to go and Wilks was (allegedly) wanting to keep Holcomb.

I’ve seen the Falcons linked to Lamar a lot if the Ravens have to trade him. I think Rodgers is GB, NYJ, or retire. Carr is wide open and could go to any of the 4 really. Jimmy G will be available and possibly Lance. It will be interesting that’s for sure.

Yeah hopefully an OC wouldn’t have enough pull to make a trade for Dak and his contract. That would need to come from Fitt/Reich, but the Richardson connection is definitely interesting.

Hate to break the news to you but a majority of posts on a message board are opinions. It’s kind of the point. I do agree the league has some major issues with minority leaders. I just don’t think this was one of those situations.

Unfortunately the league looks like it agrees with me. It’s why he received zero interview offers. Like I said before give him a front office job. He loves Carolina and the fans love him. I can have respect for the man and also be happy he isn’t our head coach. It’s similar to Rivera. Great person, but an average head coach.

You said he was better than Reich because he had a better record last year. It’s your dumb logic. Last year Bill B was 8-9 vs Wilks 6-6.

He didn’t coach all year. We went over this if you want to use last year and no other data, Wilks has a better record than Bill B. It shows you how flawed that line of thinking is.

Bill B, Andy Reid immediately come to mind. Dungy and Gruden both won the Super Bowl when they went to different franchises. Sounds like a bunch of nonsense to me. Someone is just mad their guy didn't get hired.

He clarified it. He was telling the players to ignore the media narrative that they are tanking and inspired them to play through all of the changes. It's nothing really and had nothing to do with Reich getting the job. Tepper wants a QB more than anything and Reich is more equipped to find and develop one since he was a QB, OC, and HC successfully. People also keep leaving out the fact Wilks had no other interviews to be HC. The league knows his style of play is dated and no one aside from us was interested in him being a HC.

Brissett would be a perfect bridge QB/vet. He has worked with Reich in Indy as well and is more than capable for the job.

We need to get this man a front office job. Such as class act and represents our team and Charlotte very well.
