He has already retreated. One of those silly college vs prospects comments. There really aren’t any “QB Factory” schools anymore. Franchise QBs are so rare it’s just a numbers game if one university can produce more than one.

Posting the school he went to doesn’t produce QBs especially in a mocking manner is implying just that. You are struggling here. Implying Florida can’t produce QBs and writing off a player over his school is pure ignorance as the same could have been said about any of those players on that list…

None of those are on my list? My list shows 12 solid QBs who had no previous success from their college programs at producing QBs. It’s why you don’t use the school to decide the player. Lol imagine if the Bengals passed on Burrow because he went to the same college as Russell or if the Colts didn’t pick Manning because he played at UT. Yes, Florida had less talent on offense than Ole Miss and a much worse coach. They were trotting LA Lafayette transfers as their top options. Does LA Lafayette have more talent than Ole Miss?

What about Eagles OC or Jim Harbaugh?

With Rivera or Rhule yeah I agree. That's why we need a coach that puts a priority on the offense if we are looking at drafting a QB. It's why Wilks isn't the guy IMO.

What about the Josh Allen that lost to San Jose St, Fresno St, Boise St, and Iowa (where they only scored 3 points)? Would you have been ok with him?

If we have the right HC I will be very intrigued with AR. Wilks would be an example of a HC to NOT draft AR with. We would need some weapons as well. Diggs did wonders for Allen's development.

I feel like QB pressure rate would make more sense. I've seen Richardson, Nix, Young, and several of the quicker QBs avoid the sack and extend the play with their legs and to me that has nothing to do with the OL.

He probably won't perform well right away unless we use a simplified offense and become a power running team kind of like the Eagles did/are doing for Hurts early on. I think the thought is there is a big talent game from his the talent around him in Florida (this year) and his opponents in the SEC. So (in theory) s the talent gap shouldn't be as big in the NFL.
