I’ll admit it. So far so good for Fitts!
-
Yeah and what if we pick up and undrafted QB who is better than both of them? The odds are against that happening, if it does we got a steal in Corral and can trade our first round QB for a return.
-
They seem like they are going to be expensive and may not want to sign with a team in rebuild mode.
-
On a side note, Foreman is our main back now right? Asking for Fantasy teams…
-
Which kind of sounds like Fitts knows what he is doing and Rhule was doing most of the dumb poo.

Yeah we aren't in the FA business next season. It's about draft picks and acquiring cheap young talent. Once we have our rookie QB and HC running their system for a year we will know what pieces we need and sign FA according the following year. Also we probably are going to extend Burns which will lower his cap his next year.
-
I’m hoping he lets our new coach decide. It’s basically part of the job offer. We have no QB, but you get a premium pick to draft your guy and put him behind our solid young OL with young pieces of a decent defense.
-
Burns is probably going to be traded right?

A young premium position player that is one if the top in the league? Nah I think we extend or tag him because he can be a great foundation for our defense. Burns, Brown, Horn, and Chinn are our pieces for next year’s defense. Icky, Moton, Corbett, possibly BC, and Moore are our pieces for offense. -
It’s a smart play by the Niners because CMC can really help Lance develop once he gets healthy. They have so much invested in Lance they need him to work out.

There is actually room for error as there is no consensus top pick. Is there a huge drop off from Stroud, Young, or Levis? Hell us Huddlers can’t even decide which one we like best. I would imagine we will land one of those big three, even if we slip up a win a game or two.
-
He should. If he puts together a good year he could be the top pick. On a side note the UCLA QB is having a solid year.
-
Sorry I might have quoted the wrong person. It was in reference to us locking down the number 1 pick and how trading CMC might be worth that. If we finish high enough to get one of the big 3 QBs I don't think if there is a huge drop off from 1-3.
-
Also is there a huge gap between 1 and 3 right now?

https://www.profootballnetwork.com/jermaine-burton-wr-alabama-nfl-draft-scouting-report-2023/ They state he could sneak into late 1st to early 2nd.

Hooker is only one year older than Levis for what it's worth.

NFL: Pats relationship with Mac Jones "gone sideways"
ForJimmy replied to Mr. Scot's topic in Carolina Panthers
I knew Tom Brady was going to be a steal. Couldn't believe those teams passed on him through 6 rounds! -
I mean if his first option is open what do you want him to do?? Ignore him and keep going through progressions. He has shown he can go through them when needed and hits his WRs in stride. Open or not it’s typically right on the money. Can’t hate in the man for having talent around him… He can make all the throws with pinpoint accuracy and has the release, size, and athletic ability you want in a QB. Having a talented team isn’t a negative. Young just had a top LT and WR in his last draft class and I’m not holding that against his last year accomplishments. Burton WR, Gibbs RB, plus a large amount of defensive players will see early round picks. Alabama’s talent will almost always outmatch their opponents just like OSU’s. Just take a look at the mock drafts and QB rankings right now and see which QB is ranked higher. There is still a lot of football left but right now it’s Stroud 1, Young 2.
