    Even if you do in preseason, both teams are typically running vanilla schemes and just trying to get their players ready. Real starters vs starters will have to wait until the regular season.

    If you are using this small sample size as your reason then we should have drafted Pickett or Thompson as they have the best 2 ratings (which means nothing IMO).

    I'd much rather have a rookie with potential as our backup than Sam. I was hoping Corral would become the 2 before the season was over, but we all know how that went....

    Sure, but it was because McDaniels had Mac Jones ready to go by week one. Mac is the kind of QB McDaniels wanted, not Cam. Hoyer, Jimmy G, Brady, and now Carr fit the precision pocket passers mold that he loves. (clearly some on this list are MUCH better at it than the others).

    Imagine if we picked him up and don't give him reps (which would actually make sense). He might explode.....

    I would say it depends on the coach right? Some of the defensive minded coaches (like Bill) let their OCs and QB coaches handle the QBs. For example I bet Josh McDaniels did way more for the development of Mac Jones than Bill did. On the other end, Shahan is probably heavily involved in Lance's development.

    Ohhh no. It will be “of course they beat the Browns, Watson wasn’t playing.” “We just beat a backup QB at home so no bragging” etc…

    They went all in on revamping the OL like they says they would. I know they will have to learn and gel together, but Erving and Elf are now strictly depth as they should be and our tackles will hopefully be set for years now.

    It’s almost complete. Just get Bozeman back and that’s the starting OL most of the huddle wanted.
